You're not really selling the whole FE model to me as that would surely mean that the force acting on the earth is acting on the air particles and the aeroplane all at the same time as if they were connected by string. Why?
As air doesn't get affected by gravity, why would it be affected by this magical force acting upwards on it?In FET nothing is affected by gravity, so your logic (which escapes me anyway) does not apply. In RET air is affected by gravity, but that isn't relevant anyway.
Actually, it's 6225 miles from pole to equator. 12,450 miles is from pole to rim (according to the FAQ).We're talking about FET. Why are you bringing actuality into it.
According to FET, the sun at the north pole at equinox should appear 17.45 degrees above the horizon. Why is this not observed?
Question: If you are a homosexual, you are aCan't I be both?

As you can see in the picture showing the position of the sun, it makes perfect sense that the Earth is round. The position (in degrees) of the sun in the sky during an equinox is equal to 90-your latitude.
Snell's law implies that the sun will appear higher than it actually is.
If this were true then anyone in the southern hemisphere of the "cylinder" would fall off into nothing... as they haven't I don't really buy into this. There isn't a southern hemisphere of the cylinder, because cylinders don't have hemispheres. What REers call the Southern Hemisphere is actually the outer part of the disc. We don't know what is on the underside of the disc/cylinder, but I doubt anyone lives there..
Just like if an apple fell off a tree.. it would accelerate upwards (as there is already an acc^n of -9.8m/s-2 on it) so it either would not go anywhere, or it would go upwards instead of down. Seeing as this doesn't happen and I have witnessed things falling off trees, then again, I dont buy into this. No, the apple would continue in a state of uniform motion (with the velocity it had when it fell off) and the Earth would accelerate into it, giving the appearance that the apple is falling.
So you agree that the gravitational field would convert a disc to a sphere over a period of "a billion years"But "FE assumes that the Earth does not generate a gravitational field."
