Sandokhan I forgot to ask you when you replied to my threat a few months ago (it's a little too late to reply in that one I think) do you have any of your own written works on FE?

Antarctica doesn't exist. It is the hole in the donut-shaped Earth.

Want proof? Just look at my profile pic.
Not another DDEarther?
Is your muddle of the "Doughy Donut Earth"? the same as that of itsatorus or it the hole on the other side?

I know you are, but what am I?

Just like gender, this is a journey and a self discovery you will have to make yourself. No one can tell you otherwise.

You HAVE to be trolling.

One guy gave me a list of books/video I should read to... I have no idea why he gave me this. I guess because he called me "insane" and decided to share some true knowledge:

-Zetetic Astronomy, Earth Not a Globe (Rowbotham)
-The Flat Earth Conspiracy (Dubay)
-200 Proofs Earth is Not a Spinning Ball (Dubay)
-The Greatest Lie on Earth: Proof That Our World Is Not a Moving Globe (Hendrie)
-Zetetic Cosmogony, or, Conclusive evidence that the world is not a rotating, revolving globe, but a stationary plane circle (Winship)

You may something "useful" there.

Thanks for this list, it definitely looks like Dubay dominates this area :o

I'm guessing much to a lot of peoples annoyance on this forum we're all well aware that Eric Dubay and his 'book' is probably more widely known in non-Flat Earth circles as the definitive book on Flat Earth.

Is there anyone else who has wrote on this subject apart from Rowbotham and his Zetetic Astronomy?

Exactly.

If that doesn't scream COINTELPRO I don't know what does.

Shape depends on ballance between centripetal and centrifugal force.
Centripetal force is produced by gravity, and centrifugal by rotation.

Actually this is what Earth and the Moon look like, and we don't know what causes the egg Moon shape...

Visual Aid Seal of Authenticity provided by Aliveandkicking.

Just because we can measure something does not mean we know what causes it.

The moon is not shaped like that.

I know because I saw it out of my window 8)

When nasa supposedley faked images of a round earth, why didnt they fake images of a flat one?
Cheers :)

NASA touch up and modify images yes, but they are not responsible for manufacturing a belief in a round Earth that doesn't exist.

The Earth is in fact spherical in shape.

flat earth society

40% troll who pretends to believe
40% trying to disprove flat earth
10% is just here for entertainment
10% is retarded and actually believes earth is flat

This is probably an accurate breakdown.

In response to some of the threads I've been reading recently I would really be interested in the results of this poll to see what people's real motivations are for being here.

It would be interesting to see the numbers of people posting on this forums who ACTUALLY believe the Earth is flat.

I was gonna make a topic about this yesterday lol.

Flat earth society is entertaining. Like a clown or WWE.

And the idiot that I am, I accidentally voted 'I genuinely believe the Earth is flat' when I meant to vote 'I genuinely believe the Earth is round' :D

So the poll above is currently more round Earthers than flat ones :D

Oh I thought you were a flat earther because of your avatar. It looks like it has ice around the earth.

No, no, by all means no, much like yourself I am one of those 'fringe' Earthers, neither flat nor round.

My Earth is the donut shaped Earth and yours is evidently the heart shaped Earth, although our two belief systems may seem to differ greatly I think we share a lot more in common than these flat and round heathens nevertheless.

I would like to know what people are saying about Nibiru.  If the earth is flat and under a dome with water above and below then how do you explain Nibiru or is Nibiru a lie?

If we are in a dome with fake stars, sun, and moon then what is Nibiru????????

Nibiru is a carefully controlled lie in order to hide the truth which is the REAL 10th planet known as Uribin.

Does aether cause the moons of Jupiter to move as well?

To my knowledge they have not been seen from Earth, so I'm ambivalent about whether they exist, let alone what causes them. Theoretically, though, yes.

Are saying "To my knowledge they have not been seen from Earth" about "the moons of Jupiter"?
Not seen from earth to your knowledge! Well your knowledge is sorely lacking!
These moons were first seen and noted by Galileo on

Quote from: The Galileo Project, Satellites of Jupiter
Satellites of Jupiter
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Galileo's expectation was that Jupiter, which was then in its retrograde loop, ould have moved from east to west and had left the three little stars behind. Instead, he saw all three stars to the west of Jupiter. It appeared as though Jupiter had not moved to the west but rather to the east. This was an anomaly, and Galileo returned to this formation again and again. Over the next week he found out several things. First, the little stars never left Jupiter; they appeared to be carried along with the planet. Second, as they were carried along, they changed their position with respect to each other and Jupiter. Third, there were not three but four of these little stars. By the 15th of January he had figured it out: these were not fixed stars but rather planetary bodies that revolved around Jupiter. Jupiter had four moons. His book, Sidereus Nuncius, in which his discovery was described, came off the press in Venice in the middle of March 1610 and made Galileo famous.
see more in    The Galileo Project, Satellites of Jupiter

For obvious reasons I can't give you Gailieo's photos, but here is one of the sketches he made.

Honestly, you need to learn much more about the earth, its shape and dimensions, as well are a bit about observations about our neighbouring planets
before trying to single-handily develop your own "cosmology".

Please oh please, tell me you were joking when you claimed: "To my knowledge, they have not been seen from Earth"!

But you would argue for a spherical Earth, after all you're an ozzy and we all know ozzies don't really exist because if they did they'd have fallen off the Earth by now.

Check and mate.

Not yet, we're managing.
So long as we repeat "I believe in Newton" five times a day we manage to stick to the Globe.

But i don't know the connection between that and JRoweSkeptic's silly claim:
To my knowledge they have not been seen from Earth, so I'm ambivalent about whether they exist, let alone what causes them. Theoretically, though, yes.
but then his connection with reality is somewhat tenuous at best.

Maybe you can enlighten me?

They only way I could even attempt to understand his logic is to take the whatever magic mushrooms he's been snorting in order to enter the same twisted reality and then come back and report back to you.

Just a sec...

Hey, I'm back, so basically the rationale is - fargle squiggle scoop Bus tampon and if you try and match that up with the inverse bowman trampoline squirrel numcle futumch then you'll come to the same conclusion that planets and their moons are actually Jesuit holograms being projected by the moon which is itself a projection out of David Icke's rear end.

Hope this helps.

In all seriousness, Flat Earth is probably one of those areas where there aren't any government shills. Nothing to gain or lose.

And no, I'm not a shill...seriously...I swear...totally NOT er...a shill...

Anything less than 50 cents per post isn't enough to make me fake my interest in the works of Eric Dubay.

I'm going home.

Don't be silly, with your pay you can only afford a cardboard box.

This is true but you didn't have to say it out loud and embarrass me in front of everyone :'(

John you are right. There are so-called annular eclipses that illustrate it best.

Also supermoon doesn't fit in my 40mm eyepiece. When regular moon does. Without telescope it is hard to see the difference though...

Uh oh, I think you're really going to blow some people's minds with this revelation.

Heaven forbid if we mention the claim that 'the Sun and Moon are exactly the same size in the sky' is an oversimplification we might really push some people over the edge.

There are also lots of scientists who are bound by non-disclosure agreements to never disclosure research details for various reasons.  Agreements which have severe loss of career consequences if breached. In reality that first scientist would get punished like Edward Snowden and Chelsa Manning.

Also a lot of science, industry, and military efforts seem to be attempts to break out of the dome.  Both the USA and USSR tried nuking the dome with countless atmosphere tests in the 60s-70s, Russia tried drilling past 8 miles underground, and Japan is trying to make a 10 petawatt  laser that will concentrate the equivalent of the entire world's electricity consumption times 10,000.

No, it is not an economic fact. It is just a cliched slogan and your opinion.  Are you not aware that National Central banks create currency out of thin air for their respective governments?  Also there are huge pension slush funds for government employees and teachers all over the world.  The CalPERS structure isn't limited to just Calfornia it has been implemented globally. So I completely disagree with the sentiment that there just isn't enough money to bribe so many people.

There is no dome and you have no proof of it.

No, it is not fair.

This is isis money supporting the round theory:

source: http://yournewswire.com/isis-paper-money-satanic-creation-of-banks-gold-is-the-future/

1. I don't see a globe
2. If you or anyone here can read Arabic, tell me what the text means. Then I can determine if it is supporting the round earth or not. Probably completely unrelated.

Apparently it says 'Islamic State' at the top, in the middle it says 'Five Dinars' and at the bottom it says 'Caliphate on the Path of Prophethood'.

The year on the map is 1436 which corresponds to the year 2016.

What has any of this to do with the flat Earth?

If anything (if the flat Earth is true) it simply means the Islamic State have fallen to the spherical Earth conspiracy.

Conversely it means even psychopathic maniacs like the Islamic State aren't even THAT stupid as to believe the Earth is flat  ::)

“…the only website about the subject was Flat Earth Society, which treated the entire thing like SATIRE, and made SEVERAL FALSE CLAIMS about what Flat Earth is actually hold true.” - Eric Dubay

Lol... I concur. Can't even remove profile in here. No need to waste time. Thanks, Eric ;)
I have no earthly idea what the objective of this thread, or what the Original Poster is claiming relative to the flat earth theory other than their are disagreements (and vicious ones) amongst some Flat Earth theorists. Of course this NEVER happens with Helio-centrical Theorists!

He's saying he doesn't want to be here anymore and can't delete his profile. Then he's posting some quote of Dubay's claiming that this place doesn't actually believe in FE and is actually controlled opposition as it were.

I don't blame you for not immediately understanding mind (I had to read it a couple of times myself) this guy isn't the most eloquent of folks.

Heliocentric model seems rather impossible, if not miraculous..... that the earth's shadow at those distances would perfectly fit over the Moon.
The earth's moon is NOT a "perfect fit" with the sun by any means. In particular, the apparent size of moon varies quite considerably.
Here are photos of the moon at its closest (left) and farthest (right) distances from earth:

The apparent size of the sun varies over a year from 0.5242° to 0.5422°
and the apparent size of the moon varies over a month from 0.4923° to 0.5548°.

So the ratio of (sun size apparent)/(moon apparent size) varies from 94% to 110%. Quite a significant difference.

So, do you still think it is such a coincidence, and even if they were the same apparent size, how is that an argument in favour of a flat earth?

And let's not forget the fact that the sun and moon aren't always the same size in the sky. It's very conveniently forgotten by those who want to live in a simplistic black and white world.
