Flat Earth Q&A / Re: How does the UA model explain gravity waves.
« on: March 04, 2016, 08:41:00 AM »
What I am saying is that there's a difference between a brain and a chair. The brain can use quantum superposition to generate thoughts, the chair can not. That's why I called it the quantum brain.
Sure, I'm just saying that the only particularly unique trait you're referring to is the 'generating thoughts,' not the 'quantum superposition.' Pretty much anything made out of matter is going to have parts capable of quantum superposition, appending 'quantum' just because is both technically true and unutterably silly.

He's right you know. The neurons in your brain can actually get into superposition and this is a quantumphyical phenomenon.

Picture yourself trying to run through a parking lot blindfolded, you'd crash pretty early. But if you could superposition, then infinitely many versions of you would run at the same time, exploring every possible journey through the lot. And once one of you got through, you'd be there.

The same is true for neurons, this is how they communicate to solve problems. So in a sence, the brain is a quantum computer.

General Relativity has very much to do with the speed of light, I'd be suprised of you could go through a lecture without it!

Amazing how REers keep spamming with insults like that. how long is it going to be before I can expect a justification?

Not long if you publish some actual science

Pardon, I could not find anything on what ether actually is, also what experiment was done to indicate its existens?

Sounds more like a religion to me, but if its any good then the explanation should and based on fewer assumptions then previous models, right?

Its a joke gone viral, someone didn't understand it, hence the conspiracy. But I know they went to the moon and I can prove it.

It's because centripetal acceleration on a rotating sphere counteracts some of the gravitational pull. I think that's a logical explanation.

I tried to read your story but I could not find the explanation for this, could you elaborate?

Flat Earth Q&A / Why does the weight change?
« on: December 03, 2015, 12:55:47 AM »
On a flat earth with universal gravity an object would weigh the same everywhere, because it is a plane accelerating normal to its axis, right? then g should be constant and equal to acceleration. So why does the amount of molecules which make up one kilogram at the north pole weigh less at the equator?

"A word on space travel: under DET, it is impossible. The higher you go, the thicker aether becomes, creating more and more difficulty. Rockets fail. "

This is just one og many, but merely an unscientfic hypothesis, based on a conspiracy, and definetly wrong.

You did not refute anything.  You simply said that you need more points.  That is not a refutation, just an observation, and a flawed one at that.

Also, you can link directly to a post directly to a post by right clicking on the post's header and selecting "Copy link address", or how ever you browser words it, like this.

Jroa you are like cancer. Whenever there is a interesting thread, that challenges the fundations on which this fora is built on, you're there to talk down on people. Every good thing in this world gets dragged down by ignorance. Just like a working cell gets eaten by a cancerous cell. I'm glad our friend and astronomer just doesen't care about your trolling.^^ every time I'm in here It gets so clear to my why america is just an island, you guys believe in mormons, creationists, flat earth, pseudoscience, and pretty much every other fairytale there is, some fucktard of you believe it's true. You don't believe in space travel, global warming, vaccination, but still think  are a superpower? Not for long, Haha russia laughs at you faggots. Europe too because you who once where so great, are now just some phatass racists religious Conspiracy believeing scum. Thank you.

I think most fe are not stupid, maybe some are just unlucky with school or religion. But I know the majority of fe are trolls, which is very sad because they exploit weak people to believe these wild conspiracies.

If earth was flat, it would continue to move around the sun as usual and the moon would continue to move around us. Nothing would move differently because these astronomical objects are too far away to be affected by transient gravitational differences.

Flat Earth Debate / a Revolution in Private Space Flight Tourism
« on: December 01, 2015, 12:32:56 PM »
I say we're at brink of a revolution in private space flight and tourism. You might say I'm wrong, and that this had been announced since the 70's, I agree with you. However I would like to propose a hypothetical thought experiment for you; If predictions were true, private space flight tourism were to be integrated to the private market in a few years, and you were able to hitch a ride to see earth from space. Would you change your mind? I predict you would make up an excuse like: Windows are faked or you were druged or something. Tell me I'm wrong.

Stars aren't as big as they're made out to be.  First thing you realize.  :)  (Even as a current-RE I recognize that.  I say current-RE because FE's may actually be right.)

What do you mean by that? "Stars aren't as big as they are made out to be"

If stars are relatively small and only a few thousand miles above the Earth, then it makes sense that you would not see them through infinite atmoplane.  A mountain fades away to nothing in 50 to 100 miles, depending on atmoplanic conditions.

But the atmosphere isn't infinite. And yes they fade, so why doesen't stars fade when you get too far away? I've seem them dip below the horizon but never fade.

The farther a star is from you, the more atmoplane you would have to look through to see it.

I agree. So why dont they fade like landscape? Also whats an atmoplane?

I looked out my window. You should try it. :D

If you lived in Switzerland and looked out your window, would you conclude that earth is entirely mountains?
I'd think it was entirely populated by dodgy bankers and posh watch makers.
Then I'd think I lived on the forest moon, because all I can see are trees and Wookiees.

Gotta say, round Earther tactics are getting worse and worse. Classic fallacy of the argument from exhaustion, and then a refusal to engage or discuss when someone actually does dedicate the (likely wasted) time to answering.
My compliments adn admiration to the Engineer, I doubt I'd have the patience.

It's because they know they can't win.

You just enjoy wasting everyone's time don't you? Why are you even here?

No i'm serious, I have thought about it, had a little crisis in my head and come to conclude earth is flat.

Look at earth from space, the spin makes it kind of flat around the equator. Therefore i'm a flat earther.
