When all the msm, from Fox to MSNBC, promoted the Iraq War, did you think they were conspiracy networks? Fox promotes right wing propaganda, the others promote leftish propaganda (it's corporate, so not really left). Fox breaks the propaganda model the other msm hold to, so it kind of tricks people into thinking they're not mainstream. The notion that any of the media is unbiased is an illusion.

It really doesn't matter if you think a mainstream media organization is mainstream or not. Even wikipedia disagrees with you.

The Great Reset is not a conspiracy theory! It's about improving the world. The World Economic Forum has been around since the 1970s, they hold an annual meeting in Davos Switzerland and many world leaders attend. Perhaps you and your not very observant friends have noticed "build back better" banners at Biden's speeches, or even Boris Johnson's speeches? That is part of the great reset agenda, to build the economy back better. To build it back in a way that is not as harmful to the climate.

The conspiracy part is that some people think they created the pandemic so they can build the new world order.

Sure, but that is irrelevant.  JJA is saying The Daily Beast hadn't covered The Great Reset yet because only uncle Joe, and conspiracy theory websites were talking about it.  He's basically saying nobody knew about The Great Reset except places like FES (which he'd consider a conspiracy theory website). Fox News (and other major media) have been talking about The Great Reset for several years.

Do you think I'm defending Fox News? Is that the disconnect? If you go back and read from here https://www.theflatearthsociety.org/forum/index.php?topic=87417.msg2292592#msg2292592  you should be able to see what the disagreement is. Has nothing to do with the content Fox promotes, but that the conspiracy has been in the mainstream media for months now.

No, I said "Fox News isn't a conspiracy theory website". Is there some kind of disconnect going on here? JJA said that The Daily Beast hadn't covered The Great Reset because only "uncle Joe" and conspiracy theory websites were talking about it. I said Fox News and Sky aren't conspiracy theory websites, they're mainstream media.

Big massive dumps!

https://lawandcrime.com/politics/lets-talk-about-massive-dumps-that-lost-trump-the-presidential-election/

Quote
President Donald Trump, who lost the 2020 election, uttered the phrase as part of a bewildering interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo. He repeated unsubstantiated claims of wide-ranging election fraud, disowned Georgia Governor Brian Kemp (R), and baselessly suggested the FBI and Department of Justice were involved in stealing the race from him.

“And what happened, if you watched the election, I was called by the biggest people, saying congratulations,” he said. “Political people. ‘Congratulations, sir, you just won the election.’ It was 10 o’clock and you looked at the numbers, and I’m sure you felt that way. This election was over. And then they did dumps. They called them dumps. Big massive dumps in Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and all over.”

I'm beginning to think it's all just a scam to get people to give them more money.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.businessinsider.com/donor-25m-group-trying-find-election-fraud-wants-refund-report-2020-11%3famp

That's interesting! I don't necessarily feel bad for the millionaires giving money to these groups, but I kinda do for the working poor who believe all this crap.

I know you wanted Trump to win, but I wonder how you feel about him now?

Quote
Donald Trump's latest case regarding the 2020 election results has been dismissed. On Friday, a judge (who was appointed by Trump) dismissed the case against Pennsylvania, where Trump attempted to undo Joe Biden's victory.

Circuit Judge Stephanos Bibas, who oversaw the case, began the scathing ruling stating: "Free, fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy. Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here."

Trump nominated Bibas to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 2017.

Activist judges!

Rudy thinks these losses help Trump because then they can go to the Supreme Court (eventually) but I'm beginning to think it's all just a scam to get people to give them more money.

Fox News is absolutely mainstream media. Just because you don't agree with their political bent doesn't change that fact. All corporate media spreads propaganda. Google "mainstream media" and see which ones show up on the list.

Since you are so fond of making up your own definitions, does CNN covering the great reset in 2013 count as mainstream media coverage? https://www.cnn.com/2013/01/17/politics/great-reset-obama-inauguration/index.html  OH look, they covered it again in Sept of this year https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/20/economy/how-covid-changed-capitalism/index.html

This is an archive of a Telegraph article about the possible merger of Penguin Random House and Simon & Schuster https://archive.is/yYFVE It goes into the attempts to have books blocked from publication a little bit.

You are making more stuff up. I have been having a conversation with several people in this thread (who disagree with me to some extent). Sometimes I don't reply to you, because you rarely argue in good faith. For example, you have accused Jordan Peterson of playing the victim, but as far as I'm aware he hasn't publicly commented on the behavior of the employees at Penguin Random House (his daughter has tweeted about it). Another example, you accuse me of being angry (insert lots of other possible emotions), instead of disagreeing with anything specific, and offering your own opinion. Another example, you accuse me of "dancing around the main point" which is exactly what you do when you nitpick the word "ban" and accuse me of being angry. This is called projection. You project your own emotions onto me, because you can't argue why you think employees, whose job doesn't involve deciding what is or isn't published, should try to block publication of a book. Penguin Random House have published lots of books by authors I don't like, I just don't buy their books.

Grievance culture is using emotional manipulation to have people cancelled, fired, shunned, no-platformed, threatened, etc. The problem with is that sometimes a mob joins and it doesn't matter if the accusations are correct, a person can still be fired from their job. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/rabble-rouser/202011/ten-ways-tell-if-you-are-targeted-cancellation

It's very curious how angry you are at employees not supporting publishing Peterson's book.

It's very curious you think I'm angry at employees because I want to have a discussion about them trying to block publication of Jordan Peterson's book, in a thread about Jordan Peterson, on a forum that is for having discussions about this sort of thing.
So we're having that discussion and you clearly don't seem very happy about them lol

What does my happiness have to do with anything? Do I need to be happy about their behavior in order to discuss it?  You are clearly not happy that I pointed out their behavior, why is that?
Did I say you have to be happy about their behavior to discuss it? I said I find it curious that you are angry about it. I don't understand what you are acting like you don't have any opinion now. If that is even what you are doing,  because to be honest I'm not sure what the point you are making now is supposed to be, like, yeah, this is a discussion, I know, what's the point?

U mad, bro? You seem a bit angry, tbh.
You didn't answer.

Follow up question: why are you acting like a 14 year old youtube commenter all of a sudden?

Because you are being retarted. Your question was "why am I angry at employees..." and then you accused me of not being very happy about them. I can't possibly think talking about grievance culture is interesting without being emotional, right?  I never acted like I don't have an opinion, you made that up for some reason. You tried to turn the discussion from what we were talking about, to talking about me personally. I am curious why you did that. I don't expect you to agree with me about these things, I would appreciate it if you could just have the discussion (or not, you can scroll past my posts).
