What's the difference between a Latinx and a native American?

It depends! Many Latinos are Native Americans, but also many of them have Spanish and/or African ancestry.

Now we see them as "latinx" and they love it so much.

You could make them read all the CRT books, and occasionally tell them to "do the work".

Here's a fun thing to try. If you were active on a forum 15-20 years ago and still have access to it (some of you old timers here can look at your earliest posts), read the things you wrote

Do you remember writing it? Sounding like it? When I was into cars ages ago I was a member of a forum that is still around but close to death from inactivity and just for shits I looked at my posts and inbox and the knowledge I had and the style I wrote.... WTF? Totally not me today!

Go back and read them. You will cringe!  >:D

How cringe do you think the willie measuring thread will be 20yrs from now?

Quote
Mucormycosis: The Black Fungus Affecting COVID-19 Patients Mucormycosis is a serious but rare fungal infection that is occurring as a post-Covid-19 complication.

The increasing number of mucormycosis cases- a fungal infection, colloquially "black fungus"- among patients recovering from COVID-19 is being detected in some states. The Indian Council of Medical Research has issued an advisory after Dr. VK Paul, member NITI Aayog mentioned about the existence of the rare, fungal infection. However, Dr Paul said that it is very uncommon among patients who do not have diabetes. He asked the people to control their sugar levels to prevent this disease. He said that the cases are being studied, assuring that it is not a big outbreak.

Well that's just fucking super.

The internet was a lot more fun 15 years ago.

I am still a member of a forum I joined in 2006, the one I joined in 2005 doesn't exist anymore so I can't look back any farther.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A gunman opened fire at a birthday party in Colorado, slaying six adults before killing himself Sunday, police said.

The shooting happened just after midnight in a mobile home park on the east side of Colorado Springs, police said.

Officers arrived at a trailer to find six dead adults and a man with serious injuries who died later at a hospital, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported.

The suspected shooter was the boyfriend of a female victim at the party attended by friends, family and children. He walked inside and opened fire before shooting himself, police said. Children at the attack weren’t hurt and were placed with relatives.

I bet some red flags were ignored.

Melinda Gates was supposedly concerned with her soon-to-be ex-husband Bill Gates’ relationship with disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in the years leading up to their high-profile divorce last week, according to a Sunday report.

People familiar with the couple’s divorce proceedings and a former employee of their charity, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, told The Wall Street Journal that Melinda’s concerns about Epstein went back as far as 2013.

Too bad Epstein didn't live long enough to get the Gates vaccine!

I don't even hate watch the Oscars, it's just boring rich people patting themselves on the ass.

Also, can't registered members of IMDB provide information? Oh, I think you can https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/contribution-information/how-do-i-contribute-data-to-imdb/GVZTHQ48SWS47WDK#  They'd probably be glad for someone to help improve their Korean movie info.

I thought Florida was bad about putting tourists ahead of the people who live here, but that is really so much worse!

I am not aware of any lawsuits against Trump for his tweets or Facebook posts. Twitter and Facebook allow all sorts of nasty content on their websites (it took six years and an article in the NYT for Twitter to take down a revenge porn video of a 16yr old girl). They only want to be seen to be doing something if it makes the tribe happy.

Trump, or whoever runs it, absolutely would make the rules on his instance, but the fediverse doesn't work like Twitter, it is decentralized. You can join one instance and follow people on other federated instances. Trump wouldn't be able to ban anyone from the fediverse, only from his own instance.

19
I do not know why he doesn't have someone start a fediverse instance for him. He could rule over it, and I bet  millions would join just to see what he says.

20
Facebook upheld Trump's ban, and Twitter is rejoicing. I think they really miss him https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-news/trump-s-facebook-ban-upheld-oversight-board-n1266339

In a new study, American researchers believe that growing numbers of married people are turning to internet chat rooms for sexual thrills.

This new study must have been done in the 90s. Everyone knows married people go to Facebook for sexual thrills.

I tried to watch his interview on JRE and he was so boring I couldn't make it through. The funniest thing about it was him pretending to take a puff off a joint, and he ended up looking like a weirdo.

Youtube didn't create the new flat earth movement, we did.

YouTube had nothing at all to do with the popularity surge and then decline, you did that all by yourself. Got it. :P

Nasrin Sotoudeh, a human rights lawyer imprisoned for her work defending women’s rights and protesting against Iran’s forced veiling laws, was transferred from Evin prison to Shahr-e Rey prison in Varamin, outside Tehran, in October last year. In January she was diagnosed with a myocardial bridge – symptoms include angina, chest pain and other heart complications. She was told by a doctor to avoid stress and that she should be held in a well-ventilated space.

Women love wearing the veil so much they will go to prison to have the right not to wear it.
