Actually, a while ago most of them were saying that the earth's real map looked exactly like the logo of the UN

See, the north pole is in the middle and the south pole is actually the edge

Of course it doesnt make sense since that would mean the lines would get wider as you approach south "pole".

Although, I thought the same thing could be true about SPACE. It,s wrong about earth of course though. And since space is so extremely huge that you can't even imagine a billionth of it's size, there' s no way to know.

Yes, you can see it.  Every scientist with a good enough telescope can. And since they don't all know each other, but can all see it, it means that its true.

Likewise, mars was mapped by the government. and is likely a fraud

I prefer the infinite flat plane idea.  everybody knows the universe is infinite, so why can't earth be a flat plane with infinite identical copies of everybody equidistant from eachother?

Because we could see it easily with the powerful telescopes that exist today. Although, your theory could be true as far as SPACE goes. But not earth of course. Because its round.

Wrong. You can see a lot of details on other planets (not with the telescopes you buy of course). And Mars has been completely mapped. And probably others too.
And you can see the flag on the moon.

if it were at a low enough angle, hills alone would block it--the world is pretty big, afterall.  The atmosphere would disipate it as well over greater distances--just like a flashlight beam will not travel forever.

That's an invalid argument AGAIN. And yes it's easy to observe what lights it by observing how it is shaded in relation to where the sun is.

God what a douchebag. It lights up the moon, it lights up all the other planets, you can even see them from HERE. It even creates lunar eclipses when it's on the other side of the earth.
Just because I haven't seen something doesn't mean I have no proof. I've never seen disneyland either so hey, it may not be real right? Wrong.
YOU have to imply a lot of things to make your myth work. You have to imply that the telescopes are wrong, that every government  and every single scientist is lying, that those people are all TOGETHER to make you beleive that the earth is round (for what reason, you can't even say). Have you ever heard scientists discussing that? Have you ever heard 2 politicians talking about it?

Time zones are very possible on a flat earth.

Wrong. Not in the real world.

It would be extremely possible if you saw the sun as more of a flashlight and less of a round ball of gas.

The sun doesn't focus only on the earth and certainly not only on certain areas at a time. The sun sends light in all directions at once. Every spot on a flat surface would ALWAYS receive the same amount of light from the sun. This isnt the case in the real world therefore the earth isn't flat.

Another idea would involve us being covered by waves of 'dark air'.

Flat earthers bitch about how we "beleive" (lol) in unproven theories (wich is wrong), yet pull incredibly stupid theories straight out of their ass in order to try and prove their myth.
The very fact that you're making up theories in order to prove your beleif is because you're very unscientific. Science is about observing the world around us, THEN making theories and testing them. You start with a strict dogma and won't change your mind no matter how much logic and common sense we throw at you.
