What you said doesn't even make sense dingleberry. The factors that evolved an ape into man... it's easy. The apes stood on their back legs to see over some grass. They started making tools because the realized the advantage of mechanics... ?

Tom, you think Venus and Mercury are only 800 miles from the Earth...? So why haven't any satellites collided with them yet? Why has no astronaut ever noticed these planets? Better yet what keeps these tiny objects you describe from being pulled into the Earth?

Ice ship idea is stupid. My proof? No one has done it yet. It's been around for 50 years, lots of people know about it, no one has bothered to try it.

I know I cant think of any proof or evidence of planet earth being flat. I'm waiting for your evidence that planet earth is flat and big government coverups.

Step 1. Look outside your window

Step 2. Read the FAQ

Step 3. Read the book "Earth Not a Globe" by Samuel Birley Rowbotham

Step 4. Read the book "One hundred proofs the Earth is not a Globe" by William Carpenter

Step 5. Read the back-issues of Flat Earth News Quarterly

Step 6. Read the book "Flatland" by Edwin A. Abbott

Step 7. Read The book "The terrestrial plane" by Frederick H. Cook

Step 8. Read the book "Universal gravitation a universal fake" by Charles S. DeFord

Step 9. Read the book "Does the earth rotate?" by William Edgell

Step 10. Read the book "Earth not a globe: scientifically, geometrically, philosophically demonstrated" by Henry J. Goudey

Step 11. Read the book "The book of light" by Gilbert Johnson

Step 12. Read the book "Unpopular truth against popular error in reference to the shape of the earth." by Charles W. Morse

Step 13. Read the book "A challenge from the earth-flattening society" by Richard A. Proctor

Step 14. Read the book "The Earth: A Plane" by John E. Quinlan

Step 15. Read the book "He knew earth is round, but his proof fell flat" by Robert J Schadewald

Step 16. Read the book "The view from the edge; on the necessity of the flat earth" by John P. Sisk

Step 17. Read the book "Is the earth a whirling globe?" by Carl Albert Smith

Step 18. Read the book "Answers to the common 'proofs' that the earth is a globe" by Chester M. Shippey

Step 19. Read the book "In defense of the square peg." by Irving Wallace

Step 20. Read the book "The shape of the earth; some proofs for the spherical shape of the earth given in astronomical and geographical text-books examined, and shown to be unsound" by Arthur V. White

Step 21. Read the book "The Flat Earth and her moulder" by Ossipoff H. Woofson

Step 22. Come to the conclusion of a Flat Earth

Dude you forgot Step 0: Smoke 12 speedballs, snort 18 lines of meth, drop 3 syringes of heroin. Now you're ready to be a FE'er!

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Sick and tired of the non-believers!

;D ;D ;D  There's no way this guy is a teacher.  He's obviously not serious about anything.  Of course if this guy taught about a flat earth in any type of school (secular or religious) he'd lose his job almost immediately after first bringing it up.

Add Genesis 9:13 to the list of "FEers" to not take seriously.

You can teach any opinion in a public school, except that its not ok to be gay, and be legal threat free.

PUT DOWN THE CRACKPIPE NACRBERRY. Lol. Who said you can teach, literally, anything in a public school? Maybe since you never attended a school of any kind you wouldn't know but if a teacher was instructing children things that were blatantly wrong (like up is down, the earth is flat, ect.) they would probably end up getting fired very quickly.

Please, if you wish to prove me wrong, do so with an accurate flat earth map.

I wasn't using that round earth map as evidence for either theory. I was pointing out that the fact you can see the African continent from the South of Europe is not exclusive to a flat earth map. Either theory allows one to look accross the Mediterranean and see the other continent, so the use of this argument in either theory is moot.

If you wish to beat us on our own grounds, I must insist you use our own map.

Then post one dipshit, wait heres one we can use:

Yeah dumbass, if the sun doesn't give off any energy then why is it hotter in the sun instead of shade? Or during the day instead of night?

In early 1943 two American professors discovered that a very tough material could be produced by adding a small amount of wood pulp to water before freezing. They called this material pykrete, in honour of Geoffrey Pyke.

Lord Mountbatten had a block of pykrete prepared by a Canadian engineering company, and took this block to the Quebec Conference in the fall of 1943. As it appeared that "Habbakuk" would run into supply and technical problems, not to mention the high costs ($100 million for the first ship), it was Mountbatten's aim to get the Americans to take over the project. It is reported that he fired a revolver at the pykrete block during a coffee break, and the bullet bounced off and struck one of the senior officers who were present -- thankfully without serious injury!

How would ice ships be a good idea? Sounds completely retarded. Please explain how a engine would not manage to melt an ice ship, they get extremely hot.

RE is based on a book written in the 1600's? Where did you get that idea from, Plato and Aristotle realized the Earth was round before Christ was born using something forgien to you FE'ers called... Science.

Q: If the Earth is flat, then why does a boats hull dissapear over the horizon before its mast?

Q: If the Earth is flat and the sun hovers over it, then how can I plainly see it dipping below the horizon at night instead of just getting dimmer and dimmer?

Q: If the Earth is flat, please explain why the shadow of Earth during an eclipse is clearly spherical.

Q: If the Earth is flat... then why the hell has no one noticed this from outer space... whats on the otherside people?

So. You're irrefutable proof is a book that was written in 1849? "The contients float on an infinite ocean which somehow has a layer of fire underneath it. The lands we know are surrounded by an infinite wilderness of ice and snow, beyond the Antarctic ocean, bordered by an immense circular ice-cliff."

Why has no one noticed these layers of fire which inexplicably exist under the ocean? And exactly how large are these infinite oceans, I'm no phsyicst but the idea of an infinite anything is a bit hard to swallow.

Tom or Gensis... you think you are smarter than Newton, Einstien, and Sephen Hawking? If so then why are they the most acclaimed scientists in history while you are nothing but a ranting crack-pot whos sole claim to fame is that people come to your site to make fun of your pre-school view of the world?
