I've been off the site having fantastic adventures in real life for the last several years. I've stomped criminal organizations singlehandedly, saved countless damsels in distress and had a few platinum hip-hop/country music crossover albums.

But every day I told myself I would come back here one day. I missed all of you. I never forgot you fucking legends. When my reign of terror ended, I was forced to find new purpose and I did. I love you all for that.

Now, someone give me the juicy deets on all the doings of the forums. I want all the highlights that would be memorable of both Emmy's and Nobel prizes. Maybe even a pulitzer. GO!

Anybody see this? Just got back from the theater and well... Not really sure on how I feel about it. I enjoyed the movie as a whole, I love the documentary feel to it, but the ending seemed WAY too abrupt.

Thoughts?

Bought these yesterday and returned them less than an hour later. They are supposed to be hi-def but they sound like utter garbage compared to my much cheaper wired Skullcandy 50/50 in-ear set. Most notably the treble sounds muffled, lost in the dry and rather weak bass. No matter what I had the equalizer set to, I was disappointed.

Anyone know of a wireless set that have actual quality sound?

I'm personally still getting used to the genre, but so far so good. My favourite "groups" are Bassnectar and Skrillex so far. Daedmau5 for some stuff, but their technically not dubstep, either.

The Lounge / Earthquake in Virginia today

In all seriousness, it was measured at 5.8, with the epicenter located in Virginia, USA. The quake was felt through ~75% of the East Coast. There was even some structural damage in NYC apparently. A lot of people I saw today while working were talking about it. I barely felt it (inb4 that's what she said), as I was driving when it happened.

Anyone else experience the quake?

I just bought a Sony Alpha NEX-3 DSLR.



Here are some sample shots:









Personally, I definitely recommend this camera. If you're planning on doing pro shots, with full lighting equipment, front the extra cash for the NEX-5, it has an IR reciever and you can control it and the lighting rigs remotely. Otherwise, this is a great show shooter, beats all other DSLR shooters in its price range.

So lately I haven't really been posting a lot (and I know that to some of you that pleases you), let alone start a topic anymore.

So post ITT if you've done anything out of the ordinary, fun or otherwise that makes you happy lately. If it wont kill you to not troll in this thread and keep it on topic and enjoyable, that would be appreciated.

I just got back from a club with my girlfriend a little bit ago. My good friend Gary was DJ-ing there tonight so we got in for free. It was Halloween night so there was a costume contest, and the judges were players from the New York Giants NFL team. We definitely had a good time tonight.

This past weekend my girlfriend and I went to the VDub Cult Classic 2010 Show in PA, and I wanted to share some pictures from the event.

The first few pics are from the convoy cruise we drove with. First two shots were taken with my iPhone 3GS at an average speed of 70mph, the third is a shot of some of the cars in the convoy at one of the checkpoints.







The following pic is of the winning car in the MK4 class, owned by a very good friend of ours:



The following shot was taken after the whack-a-car event, each hit was $1. They collectively paid $160 to be able to flip the car, and all the money goes to a charity:
