Flat Earth Debate / Dual-Earth Theory V4 | LATEST IMPROVED VERSION
« on: May 29, 2015, 01:02:27 PM »
I did a lot of research, and managed to improve Jrowe's Dual-Earth theory.

Basically the dual-hemiplane Earth has Aether around it, like in the image above, that refracts sunlight towards the surface. At the equator, as commonly accepted among the Dual-Earth Scientific Association (of which I am the president), there is a high concentration of Aether that makes the transition from a hemiplane to another as smooth as possible, therefore almost unobservable. The Earth rotates around its axis (As in the drawing above, the poles are its axis, therefore producing day and night), and at the same time rotates around the Sun.

How to understand this improved theory:

1. Read Jrowe's research.

2. Come here and read the improvements.

3. Praise the Dual-Earth Scientific Association (DESA) and its president (myself) for bringing you the truth.

1. Aether around Earth now has a different shape.
2. The Earth's axis is tilted, therefore it explains the 6 month day night cycle at the poles.
3. The Earth has an iron core, that spins and produces the magnetic field (as evidence suggests). Above and below the iron disk core, there is magma, heated by the weird processes that take place at the equators.

Here is a graphical representation:

A major contribution has been brought by Mikey T Lovzballs in his post, presented below:

I believe you need to add the bulge back in for the Northern and Southern pole areas, that JRowe had in DET version alpha 0.1.  This way the aether does not have such an extreme effect on light.
We could increase the bulge to a point to where the aether isn't needed to "bend" the light to match observations and you will not need to have the aetheric transmission at the equator.  But that's just silly, it would need to be a spheroid shape to match observations and we would need to accept either aether pushing us down or gravity.
Also, question:  What role does aether play in the magnetic field as shown in your model?
You also have my vote as the new and total authority on all things dual Earth.

Please take the drawings above as mere sketches of reality.

The Lounge / Flat Earth Society Forum Opposite Day!
« on: May 17, 2015, 01:09:41 AM »
Let's have a day when the Round Earthers argue against a round Earth, and Flat Earthers argue against a flat Earth! This should be fun, as one would see how the grass is on the other side.

Flat Earth General / Flight time, distances do not support a FE
« on: May 03, 2015, 11:35:14 AM »
Simple thing to do. Find a direct flight from Sao Paulo to Johannesburg.

Then find a direct flight from Miami to Madrid.

Observe that they take about the same time to complete. Now apply this to a flat earth map:

I drew the approximate paths the planes take. Miami-Madrid and Sao Paulo- Johannesburg. See the major difference? The flight under the equator should be double in length than the one in the northern hemisphere.

Apply the times to the INDISPUTABLY REAL ROUND Earth and you get those exact results, as the distances on a round Earth are roughly the same.

Awaiting your answers, and probably your "It has been done before" posts.

Basically says you're crazy.

Flat Earth Q&A / Stars having a circular motion
« on: March 30, 2014, 02:22:58 AM »
Why do stars in this timelapse (or any sky timelapse) have a circular motion on the sky?

" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">

Some go under the horizon, and come back up again. Overall movement is circular. Why?

Flat Earth General / Gravitational Waves Proven
« on: March 17, 2014, 10:27:38 PM »
Soo, very recently, gravitational waves, which were predicted by Einstein's theory of General Relativity, have been observed and proven.

So gravity does exist. What will Flat Earthers do now?

Flat Earth General / Collection of unanswered arguments
« on: March 16, 2014, 05:32:06 AM »
Hello FES.

This thread is dedicated to bring all the unanswered arguments against a flat Earth together.
By unanswered I mean:
- FEs started replying with something like "How do you know green is green?"
- FEs changed subject to something unrelated
- FEs didn't reply for 36 hours.
- FEs didn't give an answer, applying some circular argument technique
- FEs answered with "IT'S A CONSPIRACY".

Please post your unanswered arguments below. The moment a FE comes and debunks it with evidence or a logical explanation based on evidence, I will remove it.

1. Gravity isn't the same everywhere.
The gravitational acceleration of 9.81 m/s^2 varies from location to location. This renders the Universal Accelerator model incorrect, due to the fact that the Earth would break in pieces.

2. 6 month daytime in Antarctica.
If Antarctica is a big wall around the Earth disk, then how does the whole of it experience continuous daylight from October to March?

3. How to tides form?
On the flat Earth model, tides should not work the way they do in real life.

Flat Earth Q&A / Day length, and seasons?
« on: March 15, 2014, 11:59:29 PM »
How does the flat Earth model explain days being shorter in the winter. while longer in the summer?

Mind that, while in the northern hemisphere it's winter, in the southern hemisphere it's summer, and at the equator there are no changes in day length and sun position on the sky.

And also explain the arctic night and day that last 6 months each (When it's night for 6 months at the north pole, it's day for 6 months at the south pole).

Flat Earth Q&A / Some questions
« on: March 03, 2014, 08:32:50 AM »
I have some questions. I'll post them all in a single thread for the sake of not creating several ones. Answer as many as you can. Thanks!

1. If the Earth and Sun orbit as shown in this video:

#" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">Sun and moon on a flat earth

Then how are new moons formed? And the different ways we see the moon?

2. How are tides formed? If the moon and sun orbit on the same level, and have the same size, then why is the moon's effect on tides greater than the Sun's?

3. Why do you see different constellations from different points around the world?

4. In this time lapse video, why does the sky "move" circularly? If the Earth would be accelerating upward with 99.999% of the speed of light, then shouldn't we see a "downward" movement of the sky, and a different sky each day?
#ws" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">Ocean Sky

And before you start answering these, remember:

I am really curious how many users on this site actually support the flat Earth model, and how many do not. Vote away!
