Flat Earth Q&A / For Jroa
« on: October 25, 2013, 08:15:10 PM »
You say the atmosphere condenses as it leaves the known earth (in so many words anyway). Can you elaborate on that because I am wondering how this is possible? An interesting idea perhaps but I am wondering a few things;
How it becomes so cold?
Why does the liquid flow back?
Please feel free to go into more detail if you have time, those questions are just to get you started.

Oh FYI, I'm not bothered about arguing about it. Just interested why you come to this conclusion.

Flat Earth Debate / The 2 sun model.
« on: September 27, 2013, 05:11:04 AM »
Most of earths life gets its energy from the sun either directly or indirectly. What if the power was increased? Lets look back several million years. The earth was a tropical planet with large foliage and dinosaurs were abundant. To get to such sizes they would of required more energy than there is today. Eventually those massive creatures and plants died out, what could of been the cause? I predict it was caused by the second sun dying out.

The moon and the sun are the largest objects in the sky and as far back as historical records show they have not changed in 1000s of years. However this was not always the case. Millions of years ago there was 2 suns circling the earth. One of those suns died and it is now what we call the moon.

On a flat earth model there is no explanation for the moons glow, I propose this is because it is a dead sun. It is still releasing some energy but I predict it will eventually burn out. Evidence suggests that the moon is also shrinking, each year the moon is said to be moving about 3cm away from earth, this is actually the shrinking of the moon, due to it loosing energy and the actual distance from the moon and earth is a miscalculation due to a misunderstanding of what space really is.. The moon would of been the same size of the sun at one point but as we see today it is slightly smaller. We know it is only slightly smaller as the distance to the moon and sun is said to be about 3000 miles. The moon is also denser than the sun as its gravitation effects surface water on earth and can create a very slight pull at higher altitudes. The moon and the sun together create areas on the earth where universal acceleration is slightly negated due to their positions in the sky. This is mostly due to the moon but the sun does play a part. It is quite likely that the moon and the sun have slightly different compositions and this will explain how the moon is denser and why it died before the sun.

The moon sometimes still glows a dull red and this can been seen quite often. The energy slowly pulses round the moon and creates what we call lunar phases. Contrary to belief it is not the migration patterns of lunar shrimp. Eclipses on both the moon and the sun are these pulses that happen periodically and can be calculated due to their regularity.

Flat Earth General / scratching the surface of an infinite earth.
« on: April 12, 2013, 11:14:39 AM »
Roundy reminded me of something i was thinking about a long time ago.

infinite earth theory is often thought its an infinite plain. however does it need be? you have to hit this with an open mind, its more philosophy, but thats science anyway.

what if the earth is more akin to a klein bottle? or möbius strip? or real projective plane?

sounds crazy? yeah probably, but using such examples can explain a lot of strange things. for example;

Q what happens when a person travels over the edge?

A from the observer nothing has happened. they appear on the other side as if the world was a sphere. but due to klein theory (im coining that for an earth shape) the earth remains flat yet can be navigated like a sphere.

im just wondering if others have thought about this and have more advanced theories on it. if anything an answer like that would sure ruffle some feathers!

Suggestions & Concerns / just a suggestion
« on: April 05, 2013, 07:45:07 AM »
you like going to this child friendly pub for you dinner. thing is this new family move in and their kid is really annoying. the kid runs round sitting at you table and other peoples tables and then starts shouting and messing about with your food.
the managers do nothing and say the pub is child friendly. slowly but surely regular customers dont come in so much or just make sure they avoid the annoying kid and its family.
you dont want to stop going to your favorite pub though, they make the best fish and chips and pour the best pints.

the managers hear you out and consider asking the childs family to stop coming but are unsure what to do.

Flat Earth Q&A / Fibonacci's Fractals - Reaching out to FEBs
« on: March 27, 2013, 10:17:26 PM »
Can 'Fibonacci's Fractals' be applied to FET? the disc shaped earth appears to break this sequence.
Most cases are found on earth, however looking into the heavens also shows more fractals. Does the flat earth disc fit into this equation or are fractals just fabricated maths that have little or no meaning at all? Just the same was as humans tend to see human faces on inanimate objects, just seeing what we want to see.

Suggestions & Concerns / flat earth products made easy
« on: March 05, 2013, 09:43:34 AM »

that link is to a website where you can upload your designs and the site runs the shop for you while you get royalties from sales. pretty simple really. you can also get codes to add the products to this site. this will mean people who buy flat earth products dont have to wait 3 months to get what they want and the stock is always there to be shipped. i have just started using this myself, they appear to have great reviews so i thought id give it a go for my website.

Suggestions & Concerns / 'Ranks'
« on: January 15, 2013, 08:52:47 AM »
Why do the people who have the ability to edit the dodgy wiki have the rank editor on here?  It gives the impression that they are some what spokes people for the FES.

Suggestions & Concerns / complaint about moderator attitude
« on: December 30, 2012, 05:44:30 PM »
lately the moderators here have been setting a really bad example. they are being very aggressive towards posters for no reason and generally setting a bad example. all of which takes place in the upper forum.
ski banning a user for arguing a valid point was really the tip of the iceberg.
they need to relax a bit, being hostile to new posters and some of the comments they are making are really setting a bad example to the forum. any new posters will have no respect for them. if posters have no respect for the moderators then they will be unable to do their jobs effectively.

i do realise this is like trying to make a complaint about the police by going to the local police station, but the issue needs to be raised in S+C.

ok bare with me now. this may look like im trolling but i was watching this:

RideThaDragon 3.0 on Vimeo
^ click this link

minecraft is a flat world larger than jupiter. but look at this video. it appears to be spherical. this is because the draw distance is set to medium. this is exactly the same affect that flat earth believers are trying to describe. i thought bringing it down with a computer game may help some of the people here understand how it works given the age of some of the posters.

The Lounge / the buy a keyboard Mizuki fund
« on: December 17, 2012, 08:34:00 PM »
im willing to pledge a fair portion of the costs for a new keyboard or the whole postage (whatever is greater) to buy Mizuki a new keyboard.
they do not cost much and its for the good of the FES. anyone else in? i can buy off ebay and send direct too.
just need;

Mizuki's permission to give me their address for postage

other sponsors.

this is a legit request and i will provide proof of purchase as well. lets do something nice for somebody :)

or if its something like this;

just give me your postage Mizuki and ill buy you it for christmas. its woman spillage friendly too so it wont break so easily! but if people want to chip in then a better quality one can be bought.

if you want to do this then message me a pm for my paypal to add funds. im not sure if this is against forum rules or not but it is most definitely not a scam! and full proof will be shown.

I see you are lurking again. Only 1 week until you reach paradise now! I see you also started advocating that the earth is flat and infinite now. What changed your mind? I thought paradise is the flat infinite earth, or so you claimed anyway.
You brothers in the projects are gonna think you have been making things up in a week OR according to you those that believe will go to infinite earth. Do keep in touch and let us know the outcome  :-*

Flat Earth Q&A / question
« on: November 26, 2012, 04:38:50 PM »
do you think the flat earth society is like an angry child rebelling against authority?

you see the argument stated often that globalists just appeal to authority and thats posted as a negative thing as if we shouldnt trust the capitalist machine.

do you think old sam was just a rebel of the time, i sometimes think if he was just trying to pull a publicity stunt. maybe to sell his fizzy pop or his inventions. oh it would be funny if he was just making a big fool of people and is laughing now at people still backing him up 150 years later!

SB gets a lot of stick round here but if im remembered in 150 years time id think that was a success.

Suggestions & Concerns / question for staff about my account
« on: November 19, 2012, 08:52:38 PM »
i must admit i have only read the rules today. usually if your not a twat you wouldnt break rules anyway even without knowing them...

however i have 2 concerns and although they have not been flagged i just want to make sure its ok.

you are not allowed to post illegal content - i have wild magic mushrooms as my profile picture, technically they are not illegal in this state and i have that picture because its rather nice looking, to me anyway.

my forum signature is a link to my planet minecraft account. this is both advertising my server and planet minecraft.

neither are intrusive and apart from a few rants and i have advertised my server in pms and on the technology board or perhaps entertainment i dont shout about it every day. im guessing as i have not had a warning yet they are ok? i rather enjoy frequenting the forum as its the only one out side of my own lol... that i even post in.
