No one has ever witnessed a millennium. Therefore, they are a faith; a religion, if you will.

Flat Earth Q&A / A universal problem with UA
« on: January 18, 2011, 12:38:25 PM »
If everything is moving up, then why are other planets circular? It would seem that if a planet has UA and normal gravity at the same time, it would end up looking like a football.

Flat Earth Q&A / Plate Tectonics?
« on: January 14, 2011, 08:57:44 PM »
According to RET, a massive asteroid hit Earth and caused Plate Tectonics. That asteroid later became the Moon. This is impossible for several reasons in FET, such as the fact that nothing can leave the atmosphere. What is the FE explanation?

I haven't seen him in a long time. Did he finally get himself banned?

Philosophy, Religion & Society / Speed limits: useful or useless?
« on: January 08, 2011, 09:09:51 PM »
You can only drive as fast as the person in front of you, so why bother with speeding laws? I'm not including income for the state here, by the way.

Flat Earth General / Weightless Astronauts

How are astronauts able to be weightless in space on camera if they are unable to get there?

Flat Earth General / Faulty evidence in the Conspiracy FAQ
« on: January 04, 2011, 01:05:45 PM »
You point to a man who criticized NASA, was fired, and killed himself. You seem to be implying that he was murdered. How could the government possibly have murdered him with a train? Furthermore, he was not claiming in any way that there was a conspiracy. After reading his testimony, I have found that he was saying that NASA had poor safety standards and could easily have avoided many of the disasters it had. What does this have to do with the conspiracy? I must ask that you remove it, as it is fraudulent evidence.

I think that just about everyone on these forums live on the East Coast of America, or near there. We all eat dinner at the same time.

Flat Earth General / The Compromise Theory
« on: December 27, 2010, 01:38:36 PM »
According to the string theory, there are an infinite amount of universes. Perhaps the internet crosses between these universes, and flat earthers live in a different one than round earthers. Maybe Parsifal lives in a world where light really does bend.

Flat Earth General / How could the Earth possibly be disk-shaped?
« on: December 27, 2010, 12:59:49 PM »
Looking at it from the perspective of an astronomer, the Earth is round because in the beginning of the universe, there were so many collisions and the such that it was the only shape the planet could become. What could cause flat-ness?

Flat Earth General / Why don't I have cancer?
« on: December 27, 2010, 12:38:21 PM »
I spend ten to fifteen minutes standing outside, in full view of the moon, while waiting for my bus. The same goes for the majority of the people who go to my high school (six hundred). Why don't we all have cancer?

The title basically says it all. Why does the U.S. spend trillions through NASA to pretend we can go to space? And that doesn't include the untold billions spent bribing every member of NASA and every airline in the world. There is no good reason for it, as far as I can tell. Money clearly isn't it, nor is power. Ignorance for the sake of ignorance seems unlikely, as the knowledge that the earth is flat isn't exactly dangerous. Give me a single good reason why they might be doing it.

Flat Earth General / We Don't Need to Disprove FE.
« on: December 26, 2010, 11:53:20 AM »
As I pointed out quite a while ago, before I got angry at all the pedanticism and took a break, you can't have an accurate model of a round Earth and an accurate model of a flat Earth at the same time. So instead of proving that the Earth isn't flat, why not prove that it is round? If it can't be both, let's just prove that the globe is an accurate model.

The Lounge / What do you recommend?
« on: October 10, 2010, 06:52:05 PM »
I often go under local bridge to meditate and read, and recently I've found 12-14 year old kids smoking and listening to rap... music... there. What do you guys recommend doing? Talking to them wouldn't help, that's obvious. Calling the police seems excessive to me, but that's my opinion. Any ideas?

Flat Earth Q&A / Obvious Problem with Zeteticism
« on: October 09, 2010, 09:32:27 PM »
The Earth is not smooth. If I were looking up at a mountain, should this convince me that the Earth is a massive diagonal slant? The biggest 'proof' of a flat Earth is that it appears flat. If the Earth was a big, glassy sphere/disk, this might be valid. But it isn't. Therefore, appearances may not be used as proof.

Flat Earth Q&A / Problem with UA

If the Earth is moving up to meet a skydiver, and is constantly accelerating, then how does Terminal Velocity work? Genuine question, not spam.

Flat Earth Q&A / More proof of a round Earth
« on: August 18, 2010, 08:42:21 PM »
I have a fact for you that cannot be explained away. If one were to be launched, completely horizontally, and stayed that way for five miles, they would be several meters above the surface of the Earth. How can that be disproven? And please do not assume human error was involved, as usually is assumed.
