Flat Earth Q&A / FE Fun
« on: August 07, 2006, 08:53:01 AM »
What do FEers do for fun? I personally am partial to a spot of swimming with my friends.

Flat Earth Q&A / Disproving old Rowbatham
« on: August 05, 2006, 02:47:57 AM »

After finally being bothered to read Rowbotham's experiments, I found a fatal flaw in his logic. As you well know, the atmosphere gets thinner the further up you go. You may also know that when light enters a less dense medium, it bends away from the normal. The defraction caused by the atmosphere would not be able to keep up with the curvature of the earth but it would easily make up for about a 15 mile view of an object.

Technology, Science & Alt Science / Time Travel
« on: August 03, 2006, 01:40:46 PM »
I believe that time travel is possible but not advisable (this is my personal opinion and is by no means an accepted fact). Imagine the universe as a vessel that travels along a line (time). If I were to jump back further down the line, there would be nothing there as the universe has already moved on from that position in time, leaving you stranded in nothingness, you would essentially be a new vessel on that position on the time line.

Flat Earth Q&A / Media on space
« on: August 03, 2006, 12:57:54 PM »
FEers, if you ever play a game which involves space travel, for example Halo as I am playing it right now, does it annoy you that the universe is depicted the RE way or do you not think twice?

Flat Earth Q&A / Some Advice
« on: August 03, 2006, 06:00:02 AM »
If you FEers are going to continue your belief then I recommend you stop using terms such as IonoSPHERE or GLOBAL warming. Just a thought.

Flat Earth Q&A / FES?
« on: July 20, 2006, 04:06:02 PM »
I don't mean to cause offense, but when I read about you on Wikipedia I literally laughed at your ideas. I think it's all a bit silly. Modern day radio communication wouldn't work if your theories were correct, neither would it be possible to in a straight line of your origin and eventually reach your destination again which has been done many times. There are countless proofs against your theories.
