« on: October 28, 2008, 12:15:19 PM »
How come you can only see Mercury and Venus during the day?

The Lounge / stupid statement

what was the most stupid statement you have ever heard on these forums?

Flat Earth Q&A / lightning
« on: October 22, 2008, 12:50:19 PM »
on a FE, why does lightning go down? (excluding heat lightning of course)

Flat Earth Q&A / hurricanes
« on: October 22, 2008, 12:45:51 PM »
How are we able to track large hurricanes with out satellites?

Flat Earth Debate / wind
« on: October 21, 2008, 03:12:34 PM »

Flat Earth Debate / clouds
« on: October 21, 2008, 03:10:43 PM »
When clouds move on a FE where do they go?

Flat Earth Debate / conspiracy or is it real?
« on: October 20, 2008, 06:10:25 PM »
So what do you think? if you choose option 3 then you are suggesting that some guy was bored so made a website called "the flat earth society" and people took it seriously.

Flat Earth Debate / Platectonics on a round earth?
« on: October 20, 2008, 06:06:59 PM »
If the earth is spherical like you ignorant REers claim, then why wouldn't transitional force of earth rotation send all of the plates on the earth's crust to the equator. Instead, the plates seem to be independent in their direction.

Flat Earth Debate / mars, earth, and their orbits.
« on: October 18, 2008, 06:27:32 PM »
if Earth is heliocentric, then how does it explain this animation?

Flat Earth Q&A / Are you FEer or REer
« on: October 17, 2008, 06:41:50 PM »
I just want to see if there were more REers then FEers in this "flat earth society". and if you pick dark energy field, that means you are a SEer. (silly earther)

Flat Earth Q&A / Last post for today. commercial space flights
« on: October 16, 2008, 04:32:02 PM »
If you were to go on a commercial space flight (which you can do today) and you saw that the earth was round, would you become a REer, or is there an explanation?

Flat Earth Q&A / whats keeping us together?
« on: October 16, 2008, 04:28:10 PM »
what is keep the earth from falling apart? because wouldn't rocks on the bottom just keep on falling of untill it "erodes" all the way up to the surface?

Flat Earth Q&A / how deep is the earth?
« on: October 16, 2008, 04:26:59 PM »
How deep is the flat earth? as in, how far would you have to dig down untill you get to the other side?

Flat Earth Q&A / atmosphere
« on: October 16, 2008, 03:57:29 PM »
in FE, how thick is the atmosphere?

Flat Earth Q&A / Space flight. impossible? or just impracticable ?
« on: October 16, 2008, 03:54:59 PM »
In FET, is sustained space travel impossible, or just impracticable due to the amount of fuel being wasted.

Flat Earth Debate / astronaughts
« on: October 16, 2008, 01:43:24 PM »
have you ever had any astronauts, or relatives of astronauts post topics? I mean, how can you argue with some one who has actually SEEN the earth?

Flat Earth Q&A / Will the public ever be convinced
« on: October 15, 2008, 05:53:24 PM »
I'm a REer, but i got a question. If you are not a conspiracy your self, do you think the FES ever convince the majority of the planet that our earth is infact flat? personally I think the only way to do that is to expose the conspiracy. That is pretty much the only thing i think will do it. I mean, they can't keep it up for ever. Either that, or get scientific to prove the earth is flat. (don't say the FES is scientific, because there was a thread where it was concluded that there aren't many scientific (doesn't mean it's flase) things about the FES. If you want to argue, search the thread. but with that aside, please focus on the main point of this post, and discuss about it amongst your selves.

Flat Earth Debate / Moon librations
« on: October 15, 2008, 03:09:39 PM »
In FET, the Moon does not rotate. But then why does it liberate?

Flat Earth Q&A / moon phases
« on: October 15, 2008, 02:01:43 PM »
how does FET explain the moon phases?

Flat Earth Q&A / flat moon scociety
« on: October 15, 2008, 01:47:49 PM »
Do any FEers still think the moon is flat as well?

Flat Earth Q&A / Mars
« on: October 15, 2008, 01:45:44 PM »
In FE, how high is mars in the sky? and what is its diameter and circumference?

FAQ: "The sun and moon, each 32 miles in diameter, circle Earth at a height of 3000 miles at its equator, located midway between the North Pole and the ice wall. Each functions similar to a "spotlight," with the sun radiating "hot light," the moon "cold light." As they are spotlights, they only give light out over a certain are which explains why some parts of the Earth are dark when others are light. Their apparent rising and setting are caused by optical illusions."

If this is true, Then shouldn't the moon and the Sun seem to be the same size. And if they are both 3000 miles high, then why doesn't the moon burn up during solar eclipses?

Flat Earth Debate / smaller sun.
« on: October 14, 2008, 06:36:48 PM »
in FE, why is the sun a bit smaller during summer and winter, then in spring and fall?

Who here can't wait for the MSL? (Mars science laboratory) I hear that they really don't have enough money to do it, but there going to anyways. It is supposed to launch September 2009, and land some time in 2010.

Flat Earth Debate / why are things round
« on: October 13, 2008, 01:08:44 PM »
RE says that planets and moons are round because once something gets too big, it collapses on its self from its own gravity and becomes a sphere. in FE, why is every other single planet and moon and star round (except earth of course) if there is no gravity?

Flat Earth Debate / evidence against pictures and videos
« on: October 12, 2008, 09:57:38 PM »
ok, lets make this fun. FEers- You bring me a picture (a real one, not one your neighbor's kid drew up) or video from space and point out some things which support it being fake. REers (like me) - you explain (or try to explain) how it is real.

anyone up for it?

Flat Earth Debate / green flash
« on: October 12, 2008, 08:14:28 PM »
does the FES have any explanations for the green flash?

Flat Earth Debate / martian sun-set
« on: October 12, 2008, 08:09:27 PM »
If we never sent rovers and landers to mars then how was this picture of a BLUE martian sun set taken? Earth sun sets are red so I don't know where this could have been taken in order to be faked.
