With the advent of
yet another load of ridiculous media hype about "Global Warming," this time about ice in Antarctica, I thought I'd get a feel for peoples opinion on the matter.
The truth, of course, is that there is more ice in Antarctica than there ever has been. Yet, many newspapers and tv networks are giving the impression that ice is falling into the sea faster than piss from a drunk man.
Here's my proof (and, like a good scientist, the
source):

Since satellite imagery only began in 1979, that's as far back as our technology can realistically analyse the trends in ice growth/reduction for an entire continent.
I was going to post some quotes from relevant articles relating to this "crisis" but I'm sure all the warming fanatics will do that anyway.
So. Let the Great Global Warming Debate begin.
