The Lounge / Re: Men are better!
« on: February 28, 2007, 08:15:19 PM »
All the problems in the World are woman’s fault. If they just did what they were told then there would be no problems. I have a little joke to help explain what women should do: "why did the woman cross the road?"," the real question is what was the woman doing out of the kitchen!" What did a woman ever do that was so important.

My rebuttal: George W Bush.
His mother raised him. Gaem Ovar.

Yes. Apparently, lights reappear throughout the day using a mirrage, as if it had come from underneath the Earth. This is not true, however, since now that it has shone in that direction, you are seeing side effects from the Sun's spotlike rays. The sun is not a giant firey ball, but a giant firey ball captured in a stage lamp being controlled by NASA to keep the sun in different areas, to throw everyone off.

Holy fucking shit. You really are pulling at strings, aren't you? Films are put together with frames of pictures. You've seen it on shitty reality shows with sunsets and sunrises. What's the difference between this and putting it in wmv form, and the fact that he didn't have to add the unexplained flash in the background?

Please walk outside and take your own pictures and then post it.

i think the correct term is 'grasping at straws'. All I said was that you could do this yourself, since photos are inadmissable.

also, i don't watch shitty reality shows so no, i'm not sure what you are talking about there.

if you would like i could post one of my own star trail photographs, however i'd rather you do the science so you believe the results. maybe you are not willing to do any real work to come to a conclusion.

i'm still waiting for an explanation. I'm wavering towards this 'spherical earth' theory. but i'm still open minded.
I'm going to ignore this, since that wasn't directed at you.

Meteors that hit Earth are obviously stationary, since the Earth is always moving.

Bad idea. I say this because explaining these things just won't stick with them. They have a system, and it's perfect. You're just fiction to them.

Holy fucking shit. You really are pulling at strings, aren't you? Films are put together with frames of pictures. you're joking!!!  :o So you seem to be irked by the fact that this is a flash/gif/whathaveyou moshup instead of an actual video.

You've seen it on shitty reality shows with sunsets and sunrises. what? Watch The Real World or something. instead of hanging around flattys, go get some skeez and his girlfriend to watch it so you can throw popcorn and spit at eachother with water bottles and stuff.

What's the difference between this and putting it in wmv form, and the fact that he didn't have to add the unexplained flash in the background?Looks like that flash did it's job to convince you that the movie was real. Congratulations, you are very gullible. So he made it look like it wasn't changed at all and fooled me into believing that he faked it. Cool.

Please walk outside and take your own pictures and then post it.and what would you say if I did submit a photo? what about if it didnt portray what you expect it to? If you did it yourself, you would notice to yourself that the same thing just happened.

I'm sorry to say, but that picture looks like something an acne-faced teenage artist would post to Deviant Art.
And you seem like a faggot. See, I can make insults in 5 seconds too.

Everything in the FAQ is hypotheses, and hypotheses can NEVER EVER EVER be proven!
Yeah, we all totally know that hyptheses can't turn into theories and laws.
Gravity is not an example of this, obviously.
So you agree that that these are still just ideas.

You mean besides the fact that GPS still works on every square inch of the earth as long as 4 satellites can be seen.  I sure wish my cell phone worked everywhere, but then again it actually uses towers.  Also why would countries that hate us allow us to build towers on there land?

Or, hell, allow us to take photos every 3 years? Within those times, the US Government would still have an enemy somewhere that doesn't want them flying around.

Which do you find harder to believe?

Elvis is dead.
Jesus is alive.
The world does not exist.

Also, those photos on googlemap update about every week. I've seen buildings made around my neighborhood. Are you going to tell me they fly in syncronization every week taking photos from planes around all countries and airspace? Are you fucking insane?
You must be.  The images on GE are updated once every three years, not every week.
I thought they used keyhole. My bad.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Prove it

You seriously can't drop it. All of the studies, the years of believing, all of the credit you had for finally piecing the puzzle to the conspiracy of NASA, the fact that you disagree with the masses makes you open minded: You couldn't bear to lose this, so you try your best to cling to this fantasy which undoubtably nobody with actual knowledge of anything (read: not internet trolls) could give two shits about.

Why can't you just be brainwashed and get it over with? What can you possibly achieve? You don't need to know the exact forces of the Earth's acceleration keeping the flat Earth in motion with objects when you're changing a tire, flipping a burger, or cutting open boxes. If you get a job that involves traveling everywhere, archeology, what the fuck have you, but god forbid space studies, then you can try to convince them, us, and everyone else. But if you keep shooting down what anyone has to say that doesn't remotely resemble your studies, beliefs, books, or manner, you're going to be stuck in a Chex Mix bag with all of the pretzels picked out.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Prove it
« on: February 26, 2007, 08:30:33 PM »
I think the real reason people refuse to believe the Earth is round is because they grew up studying that, then went through some sort of depression, read somewhere that it was flat, found a group of people who also believed this and was accepted, since not a lot of people really believe it's flat. It's easier to fit into a smaller crowd.
