String theory reckons with up to 32 dimensions. Try to imagine that.
WOW really? That's crazy. I have attempted to understand string theory, but am pretty much failing. I cam across while researching the fourth dimension and it's ridiculous and awesome.

Time, easy question

He is referring to the fourth spacial dimension.
Yeah I am, although the idea of time being a dimension makes my brain kind of explode. It may be a spacial dimension for all I know.

A while ago I did some research on the fourth spacial dimension and it is so interesting.  There is actually a 4D version of the game 2048 that is pretty interesting, and even though it appears 2D it it simulated like a 2x2x2x2 hypercube.  To answer the original question, if you were to draw a line in the direction of the fourth dimension it would only look like a dot because only a single point of it would intercept 3D space.  Our 3D space is flat along the 4D axis which is incredibly hard to imagine, in the same way that a 2D object is a cross section of a 3D object, a 3D object is a cross section of a 4D object.  Along the fourth dimensional axis, the Earth actually is flat :P
Yes! Have you heard of Edwin Abbott Abbott's (yes that's his name) book Flatland? It's amazing. It describes a 2D world in which all anyone can see is lines. people have since brought up the idea of the only way that they could do so is if there was a little tiny bit of height. It's like that here. There is an aspect of 4D-ness in our world, but we don't realize it.

Truth is subjective.... Prove me wrong.
I CAN'T!!!! Oh my gosh truth is TOTALLY SUBJECTIVE!!! Thank you! I have been trying to think of something that would disprove this but I can't!!! Even something like, "this apple is red" is subjective because for all I know you see colors totally differently from how I do and you are seeing my version of blue, or maybe you just think that the apple look a little bit more pruple than it does red.

Anyone have any ideas about the fourth dimension? Its existence? Its direction? Iīve been trying to visualize it lately and WOW its hard. Ideas? I just think itīs interesting :) Also, look up the fourth dimension on google images, and you will get some really cool pictures of a "hypercube," which is supposedly how a 4D creature would see a cube. it's CRAZY

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Space travel in a flat earth scenario?
« on: January 27, 2015, 02:09:48 PM »
Hmmm. Just wondering, but on a flat earth, how high can you go? You obviously canīt say that even companies like Delta are conspiracies, as they are filled with (round earthers) civilians. If space travel isnīt an option how high up is an option?

First, we are under no obligation to answer your every question. Second, bumping threads like that is against the rules. Third, no one wants to answer you because you're obviously sealioning and have no interest in really learning what we have to say. Fourth, you should know by now how to use the search function. If you neeeeeed to know the answers, then spend your time looking them up rather than wasting ours by answering questions you're not going to listen to.
Agreed. You have no obligation to answer these questions. BUT if you care to further your cause/ theory, it may be prudent to address these concerns rather than ignore them, as your credibility is going down by the second.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Care to Convince Me...?
« on: January 27, 2015, 05:24:52 AM »
I did an experiment last Saturday that proves that the Earth is round which is linked in my forum signature.  I know that it is not in favor of flat Earth but to be fair I might as well post it.
Thanks!!!!! That was actually really cool...

Flat Earth Q&A / Care to Convince Me...?
« on: January 26, 2015, 06:03:34 PM »
Hmmmm. Okay, admittedly I have been poking around the site for about a week now, as I have become increasingly curious about the idea that people still think the Earth to be flat. I am honestly not particularly convinced at the moment. I have had a lot of fun researching though, and have even started reading Earth Not a Globe by your all-famous Rowbotham/ Parallax. Long story short, I am interested. If anyone (expert or amateur) would like to give me some links to convincing information or would like to explain some ideas to me, I would be grateful! Thanks so much! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
