Interesting. So in sort what isn't a crock of lies? The fact is, in Britain and America have it fairly lucky. Like it or not that's the truth of the matter. There are opportunities there for all to take. It is harder for some people to take them than others, but they are there.

RE has never been conclusively proven, just like FE has never been conclusively proven. There is debate and doubt on both sides of the table.

There is far more evidence on one side of the debate than the other.

There is no evidence at all behind FE.

I did not realise that I got the "FE" shape wrong. I'd feel bad, but then I don't see why this should be the correct way of doing anything. I would like to see proof. You can't provide it. I say the Earth is Diamond shaped.

I presume, when you want to fly people from Texas to Japan you go Eastwards rather than westwards?

Must suck to fly that route with you.

Why would I do that?

If you think the Earth was flat, surely you would fly from the US in the West of the Earth, to Japan in the East. So you would fly West-East. However, if you really look at the Earth, you normally head west because Japan is closer to the US that way than it is the other way.

Do you know why?  Because there is no need to!!  Every bit of scientific FACT about the earth is a "rebuttal" to his ramblings.

You speak of this scientific fact like it is God's gospel, unchangeable and undeniable. Perhaps one day you will open your eyes and realize your error of following media hype like a dog to the whistle.

I speak of fact like it is true. Which is the definition of a fact.

And second of all, you talk of FE like it is God's gospel; because you think it is true without evidence.

They have. Pretty much every other scientist has said otherwise. So there is an alternative explanation.

Not one scientist has shown Samuel Birley Rowbotham a hoaxer. To disprove his experiments, one simply needs to repeat his experiments verbatim and publish their results.

But he didn't disprove any of the RE scientists. Who have more knowledge than he will have done. No one has bothered to disprove him, because it would be a momumental waste of time and public money.

The fact is is that there is overwhelming proof for RE. These people just say it is fake evidence. The FE model, like it or not, has some rather huge flaws in it.

The Flat Earth Society has existed since the 1800's, when Samuel Birley Rowbotham demonstrated the flatness of the earth through various scientific proofs. Since then his proofs and conjectures have stood the test of time and are still accurate today.

I can say that it's quite a convenience they're all dead though, unable to give a personal statement of having been to the south pole.

Many people who are alive have been to the South Pole. And I don't find it a convenience. Considering they tried to get to the pole in the early 1900s.

Not true. The word is "aeroplane" in Commonwealth countries. English dictionaries do not revert to the spelling airplane necessarily.

The Federal Reserve exists, and it is indeed a private corporation owned by private individuals. This means that a group of people like you and I, unconnected to the United States Government, has the power and authority to print money.

They definitely exist.

Sorry, I meant an organisation which would have power to influence countries. I forgot you claimed that the Federal Reserve could do this. My mistake. It does exist, but it certainly does not have limitless funds.

If the earth is flat, how come acceleration due to gravity is different at different elevations? If the earth cis hurtling through space, and gravity due to this movement, would not gravity be the same all across earth regardless of where you were?

No, the gravity changes because the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars all have some gravity pulling us up as we go higher up.

Ah, I'm sorry. I didn't realise that someone on the FE forums would want a coherent, well thought out answer. Because that's certainly not what questions are given by the members who believe in your so called theory. The people who ask these questions are either ignored or told it is a conspiracy.

So, I find it ironic that anyone who advocates your theory can tell someone else that their answer wasn't in depth or indeed worthy of discussion. Because guess what? Now you know how we feel.

The whole concept of FE is built on hypocrisy.
