Well... so, no one of believers is serious. You have a theory but you don't want to assume it and prove it.

It's not necessary : I believe earth is round, so I am a conspirationist. And the round earth theory is approved by 99,9999 % of the world population.

So, why I would need to organize this boat trip ? "My" theory governs this world. So, if someone must to prove something, it's you and your friends, not me and mines.

To be brief, it's the exact same reasons you aren't planning the exact same expedition to prove your point. I'm sure you have monatary or scheduling constraints and you're perfectly happy with the evidence you have from behind your computer.

--> So, as you ! You believe earth is flat but you are absolutely not ready to organize a boat trip who could be prove your theory.

Just 92 km between Alaska and Russia !

But.. thousands km between Alaska and Russia if you watch the F.E.S. map world.

So, Belivers, make a boat trip ! If you see Russia after 92 km, you will sure that your theory is wrong.

But if there is juste ocean, thousands km of ocean... so, you will prove at everybody that your theory is right.

So please tell me, why don't organize this project ?

I saw FES world map.

And I saw, of course, officialy (conspiracy ?) world map.

There is an enourmous difference for each distances between Russia and Alaska.

FES world map : a very big distance. Thousands kilometers.
Official world map : just 100 kilometers.

You are all OK with that, I suppose ?

So... why believers couldn't organize any boat expedition between Russia and Alaska, to prove their theory ?
Organize that and take a lot of materials. Camcorder, navigation materials, etc.
If you do that, you will prove that official world map is wrong. So, why not organize this trip ?

FES world map : at least thousands KM.

How such a trip should be useful for FET, I do not see.

According to Flat Earth Theory, at least in my vision of it, all the open seas are actually just an Inner Lake. And it's possible to sail from anywhere to anywhere, on such an Inner Lake.

--> I understand. And it's possible to sail from everywhere to anywhere with a spheric world too. But there are not the same distances. This is the BIG difference. So, this is a real possibility to prove your theory.

Again, what makes you think you understand Flat Earth Theory enough to measure the supposed distance between Alaska and Russia, on a Flat Earth model?

--> 100 KM... ... Thousands KM... the difference is so enourmous that it's not necessary to measure with a lot of precision.

I asked three questions on the forum ...

I read all the answers. Largely humorous answers, or who deliberately did not answer the question. So I wonder if I'm not falling into a "trap"!

Is this forum is really serious, or is it a parody forum to denounce the obscurantism of creationism and a more broadly those who believe The earth is flat?

Before working on the forum I thought it was a "real" forum, with people thinking that the earth is really flat. But after reading your answers (or your no-answers) I have big doubts!

Tausami: in this case, your world map is wrong! I watched the world map of the Flat Earth Society and the official map of the world: there is a large difference in distance between Russia and Alaska.

My first proposal was not the best shipping.

I found another, and that would prove your theory to the world.

According to the official map of the world, there are about 100 km of sea between the tip of Russia and the tip of Alaska.
According to the world map of the Flat Earth Society, there is a vast ocean of hundreds (or thousands) of miles away.
So ... a boat expedition could show the world that your theory is true.

OR

 this expedition will prove that your theory is wrong. And maybe that's why you will never really want to develop this project.

Hello everyone, I have a new question.

Why is it that members of the Flat Earth Society does not contribute to an expedition by boat? Going with camcorders, cameras ... You can even place the webcams that people can watch the shipping 24/24.

What would happen? If you reach the end of the earth and show that there are rocks extends further than the diameter "official" of the Antarctic ... then you have proven to the world that the official theory is false world.

What do you think? Why not organize the expedition that would prove your theory?

Well ! Thank you all for the answers, and excuse me again for grammaticals errors.

Imagine in a few years:
tourist travel in space are possible.
Someone from the Flat Earth Society buys a ticket. It carries with it a camcorder, and equipment to detect the presence of a screen behind the window (magnet, laser, or other ...).
The project is announced in advance on the internet.
The experience will be filmed.
If this company is a member of the experiments on the plane by recording a video together ...
The world will then have proof that your theory is true.
Otherwise? If the experiment does not work, the world will have proof that your theory is wrong.
What do you think?

PS: If the conspiracy run over the plane, it will be an unsettling event for the people. If a second person of the Flat Earth Society buys a ticket and a second plane crashes, at least ... the world will learn that there is a conspiracy against you.

I bought a ticket to space flight and I'm on that plane.
The plane takes off yet, I look out the window and see the runway and the airport.
At that moment, it is impossible that I not see the window is something wrong (or else explain me).
The plane takes off, rises in the sky ... up space.
When will I see would be replaced by something wrong?

Hi all,

I am French and my English is not fluent, so sorry for my grammatical errors. 

For several years, the companies plan to offer space flights for everyone (well, all who have enough money). For example, Virgin Galactict.

One day, the flights will take place. In 5 years, 10 years, 20 years ... ? Whatever.

That day, if the earth is really flat, everyone will have the proof. If the earth is spherical, you will have proof that your theory was wrong.

If a conspiracy runs the world, how space travel for tourists might be possible one day?
