No one said that you fucking twit. To offset the timestamp data requires the location of each GPS device to be known. It needs to offset it for each one accordingly dickhead.
And a complete inability to do as I asked and JUSTIFY YOUR FUCKING CLAIMS
Lol it's like you don't want to think. Every RE proponent here has justified this but you still don't get it.
And you claim I don't think. An argument that hasn't even been fucking made in this thread magically has already been responded to, and I should take it on the word of someone incapable of linking of referencing or explaining.
Do you need to be told the same things over and over from each member before understanding or do you just like hearing it from everybody.
GPS sends its position and a time stamp. Your device has an internal clock and compares the time stamps to calculate the distance to the satellites. This offers triangulation possibility (Uses 4 satellites, not 3) through mapping the spheres and applying Gaussian elimination in order to pinpoint your location in 3 spacial dimensions.
The time difference is what destroys your argument JRoweSkeptic.
If you where to send a delayed signal in order to fake the distance, everyone would receive the same amount of delay. From each 4 of the fake sources. The issue is is we're not all at the same place and the satellites are not at the same place for everyone. Which is why the system works cause your device uses this information to see where you are.
Let's say you have a flat earth tower in the middle of 2 gps devices, the fake delayed signals needs to come from 1 place right? Wrong! Look what happens if I introduce a delay on the time stamp to fake the source.
gps1------------------------------(fakesource gps2)------------------FE gps tower------------------(fakesource gps1)------------------------------gps2
So now you have 2 fake sources and this is just a straight line. In 3 dimensional space you're filling the place with gps satellites.
In order for the system to work with manipulating data the FE gps tower needs to know how much delay it needs to apply on each gps device so that there is only one source. Hence the system needs to know the gps device locations beforehand. So this gps coordinate data can be faked idea is complete Bullshit.
