Flat Earth Q&A / Re: What is the Temperature outside the Dome?

If there's a dome above the flat earth, where do meteorites come from?

Flat Earth General / Thorntonbank Wind Farm
« on: January 03, 2024, 02:36:33 PM »
Photos of massive wind generators clearly show the curvature of the Earth. What's the explanation for this by FEers?
Do you just claim they're fake? Is that the textbook answer for everything that doesn't fit the agenda? Or do you have some other explanation for what appears to be huge structures sinking into the ocean? An optical illusion of some sort? What?

Photos and details of the wind farm can be seen here and many other places, I'm sure. -----> copy +paste to browser ------>

Never mind, I think I know the answer.

How is the large change in the length of day and night from June 21st to December 21st explained in a flat earth scenario? I searched the topic, but anything returned seemed to be strangely redacted or something, (words missing from the text body) making very difficult to understand. Also, the exact topic I searched did not seem to be specifically addressed in the info returned by the search.

Flat Earth General / Seasons change, but why?
« on: February 07, 2018, 04:16:24 AM »
Can someone explain or point me to an explanation of how the seasons change in the FE model. Also, I'm curious about why the sun and moon aren't visible 24/7 if the earth is flat. How about tides, both normal everyday tides and tides that vary with the proximity of the moon. Unless maybe you guys have some other explanation for tides that isn't attributed to the moon?

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Visitors to Antarctica Prove Antartica is Real

Your flat Earth model has no Antarctica. We are told it is a wall of snow. Really you need to ask "so what?"
There are places on Earth thata re full of snow and ice. Do you think the tourists have some kind of ice safari map that tells them "you are here."?
You believe there was a man named Robotham. So what is the difference as far as having to believe something goes?

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: GPS ?
« on: May 14, 2014, 08:46:14 PM »
I don't want to debate with you, Starboy. But having a ham radio license does not equate to having college diplomas...  ::)

If you stop spreading slander about my character I will stop spreading slander about yours. I told you the first time that I don't appreciate it, and guess what: I still don't appreciate it.

I would consider your statement above about ham radio operators to be a bit of slander in itself.

Obtaining a ham radio license is not an easy task. These examinations are conducted by the FCC  and are given now by volunteer ham radio clubs with volunteer examiners who have to be certified by the FCC. (Or the equivalent regulating authority in other countries)
These examinations are very extensive and cover radio theory and regulations. There are hams in all kinds of fields beside science and engineering who have taken extensive courses in these areas to prepare them for these tests. In the past knowledge to send and receive Morse Code was required. The examinations have kept pace with technology and today's examinations reflect the latest in technology. You can not discount any facts from an amateur radio simply because having a ham radio is not equivalent to having a diploma. Many amateurs are quite well versed in electronic and radio theory.

I once read a review about a book  which one critic termed "It's so stupid, it's funny." This seems to the ordinary case on this website. If an FE  doesn't know or understand something they will post lots of meaningless gibberish as has been demonstrated.
What I don't understand is why FE's do this. Most people like to learn how things really work.
I have also a diploma in Industrial Electrical Engineering besides an amateur radio license and I do know about how a few things work, as do the other posters. I really don't know what the other ham radio oerators think, but I am more and more inclined to think this FES is really "One big hoax or one big joke" or "It's so stupid it's funny." Which I assure you that is what the rest of the world thinks about the Flat Earth Society. This is not a baseless statement. Just check just about any source,  on and/or off the Internet. Unless you could consider everyone and every organizations to be part of the conspiracy.

Let me state that I do enjoy visiting the Flat Earth Society because it is just a source of fun and entertainment. Once again, "It's so stupid, it's funny."

Do not equate ham radio with CB. You don't even need a license for CB. It was a good idea at first, but it has gotten a bad reputation for all the illegal and immoral things going on the CB Band.
Great post, accurate depiction of the FEers. "so stupid, not sure why I bother".

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: GPS ?
« on: May 14, 2014, 08:32:56 PM »
It's not just planes. GPS data is collected via planes and very small balloons fitted with a variety of machinery that makes GPS possible, one of which is sonar.
Wouldn't you think that wind would affect balloons such that there would be a lot of problems? Sounds pretty silly to me. And planes? How many? Wouldn't it take an awful lot of them? The earth is pretty dam big my son. That's a lot of fucking planes and balloons that no one has ever seen or mentioned. Who flies these things? Not one pilot has ever cracked and told the truth? Wow, they must get paid a fortune to be so tight lipped. Lol! What do they use to transmit all of that info to all of those individual vehicles? Sounds like a shit load of swiss cheese you're shovelin'.

Flat Earth Q&A / GPS ?
« on: May 14, 2014, 02:34:47 PM »
I did a search of this site, to no avail. I was wondering if anyone could explain the theory behind how the Garmin GPS system on the dash of my car works without satellites. Am I really to believe there are hundreds of thousands of planes flying around taking care of these systems? And if you're going to suggest cell phone towers have the capability you'll have to explain why they just don't say that. There wouldn't really be any reason to hide that now would there. I'm curious, anyone?

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Visitors to Antarctica Prove Antartica is Real

There is no helping you. There is evidence that proves Flat Earth model makes no sense. Better yet, there is no shred of evidence a Flat Earth exists. You will continue to believe this nonsese and ignore all evidence to a spherical world. You have made up your mind and ignore all logic. There is no purpose to debate with you as your mind is closed.

The gov'ts cant even find a missing plane yet they could create this elaborate conspiracy of hiding the Earth is flat?

No you proved nothing. We don't consider Antarctica the wall, most of us consider it to be a continent beyond which no man has ever gone before. As a matter of fact according to FE theory, this continent surrounds the known world, it is also possible that the so called Antarctica is inflect endless. So if an Australian company takes tourists to the shores of this landmass it proves nothing, cause how far do they fly inland? Even in RE model, Antarctica is larger than Australia about the size of United States and Mexico combined. It will take about 6 hours to cross Antarctica by plane, it takes about 7 hours to fly from Australia to Antarctica, so you wanna tell me that this tour takes 26 hours of total flight time? Think before you post. No one is offering any tours of Antarctica.

Lets face it RE people, this site needs to be renamed Straw Man Heaven. No one will ever answer a direct question with a direct answer. The concept of logical honest debate is beyond FEers simply because there is not one single similarity of 'a leg to stand on' among the whole bunch of these snivelling ,sidewinding, evasive, cowardly, childishly immature , Aunt Sally type a-holes ! Just move on. Waste of time. Just MHO !

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Could You Dig a Hole Deep Enough to Reach Space?
« on: April 07, 2014, 09:32:05 PM »
If that is true, what would be the source of the extreme heat encountered when very deep excavations are made?

Not lava, since by definition, it only exists on the surface of the Earth.

Leave the nit picking to the monkeys. And I asked what might be the source of the heat, not what might NOT be the source of the heat!

There is no lava at the center of the Earth.  Even RE scientists will tell you this.

If that is true, what would be the source of the extreme heat encountered when very deep excavations are made? Any suggestions? Please do not just say that it is bullshit that is put out by the powers that be to make us believe their story. It is known that very deep mines become hotter the deeper they go.

At 2.5 miles the temperatures can reach 140 degrees F. If the earth is flat what might be the source of this heat?

As an IT professional...

There's your problem. All IT professinoals are trained (ie brainwashed) by the Conspiracy (NASA). Do you really think they want you knowing how their equeipment works?! I am self taught by reading posts on various newsgroups.
And there's your problem.

I declare my beliefs loud and proud, including on Facebook (for example).
And how do the people you know (in real life[as opposed to this den of insanity]) respond to said beliefs. Friends, co-workers and such.(assuming you have any)

That number is a default generated by the software when it doesn't know what to write. For example 65.20.49.12.1 Is that your HTTP address? Anyone can make stuff up. Software is designed to do the "making up" automatically.

Brother Crustinator, I have taken it upon myself to establish the Canadian Branch of the Flat Earth Society. I will require your wisdom to ensure this branch of the Society may survive and thrive.
Astronaut? Again? What the hell is an astronaut?

Well done Brother! There should be some announcement I feel.

As an IT professional, unless you are bouncing off several dozen proxy servers, it is almost instantaneous to trace back an IP (internet Protocol) Address to the source ISP (Internet Service Provider), and with a court order, it is quite easy to find out who was issued that IP address from the ISP's logs.  If you are not bouncing off of a single proxy server, then your IP is known the moment you access a site and before the page renders to your screen.

There is no such thing as a Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) Address, that is just the internet protocol that is used when you browse webpages.  The closest thing that you might consider is a HTTP Address is actually a URL (Universal Resource Locator) which is a fancy way of saying a webpage address (composed of the site's Domain Name, the relevant directory structure to find the webpage, and the filename of the webpage itself on the server, this is sometimes accompanied by switches to handle how a page is displayed).

The truth is, they do not go after you, because quite frankly, they do not care about you.  You are in no way a threat to their establishment, even if there was some grand RE Conspiracy... they still wouldn't care enough to go after you.
Well spoken. You are probably a member of the conspiracy trying to down play the threat of TFES, possibly an astronaut.

Dr. Crustinator is of the greatest threat.  They have every reason to go after him.

Who or what was this aimed at and why? lol.

I only log into my computer for 15 minutes at a time. It takes at least 20 minutes for the Conspiracy to track your IP so I am always one step ahead. I advise you to do the same. Many people who have been logged in for a long time have been killed.

*Sigh*
If you look at the lower right corner of your post, you will notice where this forum software logs your IP address.  The conspiracy already knows who and where you are.
They say laughter is very healthy...............this post and the whole thread is adding years to my life!! Thank you very much.

Brother Horatio. Thankyou for the kind words of support. In flatulus victorius! Of course that was only a ruse, the real time I spend logged in is generated by a random number generator that sits on my desk in a Faraday cage. That way they will never know the true length of time I am logged on, so will never be able to trace my IP or HTTP.

Brother Crustinator, I have taken it upon myself to establish the Canadian Branch of the Flat Earth Society. I will require your wisdom to ensure this branch of the Society may survive and thrive.
One way to ensure survival is to not scale the Antarctic wall and fall off!

If I were to reveal my identity to anyone I would most certainly be killed by the conspiracy (NASA) but not before a gruelling torture ordeal where the despicable tyrants attempt to find out more information about our brave Brothers and Sisters.

Because it's so hard for them to figure it out without you telling them, right? They can't possibly track your IP, right?

Actually many if not most astronauts join this site. They want to keep close to their enemy.
Astronauts?? ASTRONAUTS??  I thought sustained space flight was impossible? Isn't that one of the basic, core beliefs of a FEer?

« on: March 24, 2014, 06:00:52 PM »
What makes you think that everyone associated with the government must be in on the secret?  It only takes a handful of people pulling the strings to have the full knowledge.

Also, North Korea probably still thinks the Earth is round.  They spend their limited resources on hunting unicorn layers.
Just a handful huh? Who's guarding the wall down there in Antarctica so that no one can climb up and see for themselves? Lol. Oh, and don't forget that's one longass wall that supposedly circumvents the whole bigass disc you call home!  BTW, does someone as paranoid as you ever leave your front door,or are you too afraid of the men in black following you around because of your inside knowledge, or the men in white for that matter! Lmfao!!!!!!

Seriously, what do they know?

They know they left from somewhere without snow or ice at sea level, traveled South into increasingly cold temperatures, and probably had to work their way through sea ice to get to land covered by snow and ice. Where else could they be?
On a place that is full of ice.
By your argument in this thread it seems apparent that you never really know where or trust where you are in the world. It must be a very scary feeling. There's a psychiatric description for that state of mind you know.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: What are at the bounds (edges) of our flat Earth?
« on: March 24, 2014, 05:37:10 PM »
Simple way to prove FET would be to attempt to circumnavigate the continent (in RE theory) of Antarctica. Looking at their map it should take considerably longer to get back to square one than it would if Antarctica were an island continent as proposed by RE theory. Not only would it be a much, MUCH longer trip but you would be constantly turning in the opposite direction one would expect! Has any explorer ever circumnavigated Antarctica? How long did it take? What was the distance traveled?

OK, so what would be the FEer explanation for the obvious outcome of such an experiment? Some sort of time warp or distance travel speed-up due to the location on the flat disc I'll bet. And you peeps believe shit like that is less fantastic than a global earth? Put down the pipe, PLEASE!
