So anyway, Summer turns to Fall that turns to Winter. It does seem time is passing at a normal rate.

The Junker game of Werepenguin should be coming into view.

When the time for game arrives...let's all say "I am in".

Flat Earth General / Re: Where is FE's alert notice about hurricane Lee
« on: September 15, 2023, 04:12:19 PM »
Good news for the OP. FE has maps that are used for tracking hurricanes where ever they form and start moving.

There are specialized airplanes that fly through and around the hurricane and the motion is tracked on a flat map only available in FE.

REers are sadly mistaken when they don't pay attention to FE hurricane progress because they may not obtain proper supplies to weather the storm.

Keep your eye to the TV or PC and follow advice given by experts who properly track the storm.

Only had feeder bands coming through and a few squalls here and there.

Nothing better than an easy storm when it could be a lot worse...knocking on wood.

That is a great look at close and far, thank you. The hurricane(s) are narly to see, of course, but I like that map...

Great SNACKS SCG! I will add some of those to my shopping list. Thank you.

Fill-up vehicles with gas, have enough water and make sure lots of coffee is available.

Safety first, in most cases.

Flat Earth Debate / Re: Why are flat earthers so dishonest?
« on: August 12, 2023, 01:12:23 PM »
RE'ers own GOAT, Einstein, had problems with what you call "gravity" so when FE'ers have reasonable explanations they should be taken seriously.

I don't have photoshop, but a wonderful picture would be one of Einstein jumping off of a chair with a thought bubble exclaiming "Voila". It will be worthy of many an award.

Glad to see Pez back.

I agree with the others that when your vacation is done, you let Junker know you are ready to play the newest werepenguin game. It should be massive and time well spent.

Flat Earth Debate / Re: Is the earth flat?
« on: August 01, 2023, 11:02:42 AM »
Welcome zZanty. Please reconsider staying since your RE team may need you.

Your claim of round Earth has been proven incorrect after ALL physical evidence has been considered. Don't dwell on just the movement of the sun. There exists a convergence of physical and logical evidence that remains firmly on the side of FET.

If RET believers keep running away and putting their heads in the sand, proper Earth shape can never be determined. You don't have to fear the truth and FET currently holds the record for number of winning experimental outcomes. It remains true to this day that there is no truth in science, so do not feel angst when you realize FET aligns with the machinations of reality.

We do look forward to yours or any REer's realization of proper Earth shape.

Those of them having studied birds know they have better and more complex communication skills than humans.

It is a blessing to know birds have survived to this day, considering they've endured forces of extinction waged against them.

Bottom line: Birds are most effective communicators.

Sitting at 7 players, I suppose the game is on hold until we get a bit more interest. I've got a handful of roles to add depending on number of players but I would ideally like to have at least 11 for a basic game. 15 or more would be even better.

Impact

The egg did come first.

It was within the egg that life and death occurred over and over again for the required amount of time.

Then...the chicken cracked out of the egg once it determined a way out.

I recommend round Earth believers to get themselves a good flat map (Fact is, all maps are Flatty maps). You can then track hurricanes as they approach your area.

I am also experienced with hurricane preparation and survival. The water, food, batteries and flat map are essentials in the survival kit.

People do know that globes are sold in toy stores for all the right reasons (fakery), so delegate those to the children for play while the adults consult maps.

I have a vague idea of what this is. Eh, screw it, I'm in.

You must decide on what players can be trusted to deliver actions that are equivalent to what they say.

I declare before you that my whole game life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to keeping the game integrity at the highest level possible and to deliver actions that result in bringing fair play to the game in which we all belong.

We need a game where people don't all follow the first person who votes someone

Have courage and vote for your gut instinct. Don't play follow the leader.

With the psychic role. I say give them limited uses so they need to strategise the best time to use it. Use it at the start of the game with lots of players? Or risk surviving long enough until the player count has thinned and your chances of a  correct guess are greater. I think in a previous game the psychic got the confirmations of who was safe and who wasn't but that information was only made available if/when they died.

I also like the idea of a penguin having the power to 'turn' someone in secret. That way nobody can trust anyone. If a psychic confirms someone a villager one night, there's no guarantee that person is a villager the next night so if you do PM people, be careful what you discuss :)

I dunno, some ideas....

Good point that people were following the first person to vote. I have done it in the past, too. One thought on that is take the total number of players remaining and divide by 2 (rounding down) . That would be the most votes that could occur for any one person, eg. if 6 players were left 6/2=3 so no one can get more than 3 votes and a tie is possible. If 7 players are left, 7/2=3.5 so rounding down would result in 3 votes for any one player.

Flat Earth Debate / Re: The earth is round prove me wrong
« on: March 08, 2023, 08:05:40 PM »
The Earth is horizontally, quite large, but thinking of it as a big globe has been debunked over, over, and over again.

Throughout the site, there are so many claims, visuals and common misconceptions put forth by RE, but let us all say the issue of Earth shape is put to rest.

Round Earth believers can twist, turn, and shout all they want but this thread is now considered a victory for FET.

I am not dead and hoping beyond hope I can still win the game.

I would have to see my name in brackets to insure I'm really dead. The excitement is building...

You were killed at night by me.

And just so everyone knows.  I killed everyone.  Shifter getting killed early on was pure luck.

Yep.
NSS is a really good WP player.

Yes for sure and I can only hope to be that good, one day. What a game!  Thanks Alexei!

I may be gone from the PC in about 42 mins when the day ends. I haven't chosen a vote, yet. Because the timing has been prone to change and I wish to participate to the best of my abilities, I reserve the right to vote as follows:

[I vote to lynch, in kind, the first person who votes for me if such an occurrence is claimed]
