A casual video of the Round Earth Fact.

Be prepared for bullshit theories and hardcore trolls.

If pressed, I think I could round up any number of stupid people who believe the earth is a globe.  Somehow though, it doesn't seem much of an presentable argument.  Actually your  "I wear a flight suit so I'm cool"  argument is at least two notches better.

And yet no one here said "I wear a flight suit, I'm cool". That's how you guys try and belittle people who have actual experience in engineering and science instead of sitting around fabricating a completely fictional FAQ with no data to back it up.
What do you expect, the only person here who really believes the FET is John Davis, But he's actually alright really, Eveyone else is a troll, or rude and arrogant, not to mention the fact they have small brains.

There is plenty of evidence for a flat earth.  The issue is you've done absolutely no research on the matter at all.

We fly around the world on a regular basis Mr. "Scientist". LOLOLOLOLOLOL

This is not nearly a sufficient refutation.  We fly around a FE, just as race cars go around a circular or oval racetrack.

Prove it. (Crickets as always.)
You're not going to get anything out of archibald, he's either an ACTUAL penguin, a hardcore troll, or an escaped mental patient.
Reported.

You can prove the earth is a sphere by the geometry within it. Although the flat geometry is a good approximation to a certain extent (when distances are not great), when distances get large it fails. For example, on large scales in the earth, the sum of the angles of a triangle will sum more than 180 degrees. You need spheric geometry to describe geometrical properties of the earth that go beyond, say, 50-100 miles.

On the other hand, if the earth were flat, then all current notion of mechanics would fail, you would have to describe the world by some other set of theories that would come out quite more complicated. For example there would be almost no symmetry in the dynamics of solid bodies. Also, if the earth is flat, then the fact begs the question, are other planets flat? If they are, why do they always look round? For example, we could ask, how the hell is momentum conserved in the system of saturn and its disks?

A theory of a flat earth is not only inconvenient in describing the world, but i think it has several theoretical voids in it.

Well then you simply think wrong dear fellow.  I do hope you will stay a while and learn more about what you think you know.  You will inevitably learn you know very little at all.
Maybe you should learn more about what you think you know, as evidently, you don't know much.

Great job completely ignoring a direct question you dolt.
Ignoring direct questions is a hobby of 99% of FE believers, at least on these forums anyway.

Archie I am still following this thread, these 2 trolls on here irush and jimfrt are tirelessly trolling.

Ironic.

Incorrect.
I tried to have a civil conversation with you, but obviously you're just a sad little man.  Irush has challenged you to prove him wrong, yet all i see is you yourself trolling.  Then claiming me and irush to be trolling.  Idiot.

I see you changed your picture. I should probably post some sort of mission complete photo. I have not only caused you to say random garbage, but I forced you to change your identity, you abandoned it so easily.

Before, I just disgreed with you, but at least I respected you. But now? Damn, you're nothing.

No, My current FES girlfriend 'rooster' did not agree with the ghostbuster shirt.
How sad and pathetic, i pity you.

What a heart warming endorsement, I am greatful.   Perhaps you will find it an easier task to troll a religious forum.
I think the fact is, that you are the troll, and i am not.

A simple question really, i'd also like an explanation of whether or not stars are flat.
The stars are not flat.   At least not the ones we know about.  As far as an explanation, I doubt it will differ much from the round earth version.
Wow, someone who isn't a rude, arrogant, wanker.  At last, i'm assuming this forum is full of them?

You should start reviewing 'Earth not a globe', the section titled 'analogy in favor of rotundity' for a simple explaination of this common fallacy.  You will also inevitably stumble upon more information to enhance your current understanding and aid you in future inquiries and rebuttles.

You can also review Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, those are also two fictional works with as much real evidence as flat earth theory.

Incorrect, but given your enrollment here, I do not doubt your interest in these parrticular fantasies.

Please provide one proven bit of evidence which makes Flat Earth Spciety (200 members strong) more  believable than Harry Potter or Lord Of The Rings.

(silence.)
You will be waiting a long time i believe.

Of which Dr. Seuss wording do you feel is unlettered?  Of which of my moxt excellent posts do you consider shallow in thought?  A brief assessment  of your claims will of course be needed to save you further embarassment.

Well, the walls of text full of run-on sentences are a good start. Run-on sentences indicate a lack of thought while writing. You never paused to think about what you were typing or the structure you put it in. You never paused to think.

Thinking, you don't do it. It means you have a lack of thought. Is this getting through to you? I really can't say it any simpler.

To the worms and the corpse, the corpse is the cosmos.  Good fellow, I ask for your backing that I attempt to use a large vocabulary by indicating a word I have employed out of context and you then accuse me  of run on sentences.  Laughable at best.
You actually don't have a clue what you're saying do you?  It seems you just get a bunch of random words and try to make it into a reponse.

Online dating should work for even you.
What the fuck are you on about..... Weird penguin.

Irush, Trolls do not understand reasoning, They simply continue on with no regard for common sense, they cannot think logically.

My brother and good friend, pay no attention to the angry noob.
Angry? I don't see any anger in my posts, stop trying to deviate from the subject of this topic please.  Thanks.

Its what they call people that ask direct questions. Like how a politician handles a debate by answering your question by not actually answering it at all.
True brother, we have been through much together [Insert comment using intelligent words for effect] I do agree that cake is made with eggs and flour.

Brother Sean and long term friend, I regret to inform that if we continue our harmless salutations we may end up on the  suggestions and concerns board at the hands of such malcontents as Saddam Hussien and around and about, (who appear to be lacking comradeship in their personal lives).  As for noob hostility, did you not recently insult Tom F. Bishop?

My friend of many years, we have been through a lot together. We must not dwell on past incidents and mistakes. The noob has been directed to where he can find the information he seeks. This thread is done from what I am concerned, unless he intends to analyze this information and ask questions in regard to it.

You are correct good brother.
Yeah i agree, archibald is a penguin.  How weird that we were thinking the same?  Spooky eh?

Ah, Archibald. My good friend for a long time.  You are right, Brother. An excellent response to his inquiries.

Thank you good friend of what seems an eternity.  I do try my best without driving away impatient noobs.   I had just explained this in a neighboring thread.
Ok sir, thank you for the nice response, sorry for being a noob.  Obviously you can't actually provide evidence or facts, i do feel sorry for you.  After reading a few of your posts, it seems you have a habit of being a noob yourself.

The earth is not flat, stop talking absolute bullshit.  It's been proved that the earth is a sphere and all your theories can not be backed up by any REAL proof or evidence.

Ok, So all of you believe the earth is flat, right so please tell me where on the world map i will fall off.  But you can't prove it and will probably say "look at the faq" as your response because you know i am right.
