##### Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Hello and thank you for the laughs!

Well, for one they'd have to be insane, AND retarted.

##### Flat Earth Q&A / Re: What was the piece of evidence that convinced you that the Earth was flat?

I know for a fact that the earth is NOT flat, because Jesus told me so, yesterday as we had afternoon tea. You should listen to that guy. He's a genius.

You're just using circular logic here anyway. You haven't proved that lim n->inf 1 / 10n is 0. What if it's a really really small number that's immediately above 0?

Delta-epsilon proof, if you really need it.

Sure, throw it my way. I want to see how you get the above result without assuming exactly what we are in the middle of debating.

If we define real numbers as any decimal expansion, then this wouldn't hold.

You aren't considering that numbers only exist in the outside world. Inside, however, no one can possibly penetrate my arsenal, which is not at all equal to zero, as you suggest.

##### Philosophy, Religion & Society / Re: if you think the earth is 6000 years old.
« on: September 10, 2008, 03:12:03 PM »
the earth is far more older that that.  Scientists have proven the earth is much older, like millions to billions.

Maybe God created it so that it LOOKED older, with fossils already carefully arranged in the ground. Kind of like when you get a new pair of blue jeans and they already have holes in the knees.

Makes sense, right?

Clever,
but if "god" put that stuff there, why would he make them in the first place? in making them he is making people believe the earth is really old. It seems that "god" would just not put them there and make no evidence for people to believe of his nonexistence?

Well, why do they put holes in brand new jeans? I buy Levi's because I want my new jeans to actually look new, thank you very much.

Maybe God just has a different sense of aesthetics than we do. Maybe the fossils are in place to ensure us a good supply of crude oil. Who knows?

Not at all. I was recently talking to God, the other day, when he mentioned that he created the earth in HIS image, specifically because satan's retarted. This is suggested by the theory of science, create by Albert Einstein, a good, dead friend of mine. Furthermore, why would Jesus put fossil fuels into the earth, when, according to scripture, the Earth is a giant turtle. This could only lead to further deaths in the hundred year war. Lastly, you haven't a clue as to how the proper response to a fully functional human being ought to coagulate against all other proper nonresponsive beings, of any other sort, which are not run by chemicals within the brain - thus prooving my theory.
