Flat Earth Q&A / F.E
« on: January 28, 2007, 08:06:27 AM »
I was not aloud to post back on the believers forum, but this post seemed to make me ask some questions

“For those of you who believe, I call brothers. After 40 years of flat earth study, I finally came up with a picture, which speaks a 1000 words -- www.freewebs.com/raacoz. I hope you enjoy it and I hope I can find a few friends. Raa”

aside the obvious lack of friends this poor bloke seems to suffer..
The first picture looks fair enough, but look at the second and third pic and it shows the earth as round, just set different from the round we have been shown before.

It says, “The yellow flames are the source of all heat in the universe.”

So this fire is hotter than the sun? I mean you do see how that must be bull shit don’t you?

also, this pic dose nothing to explaine the rest of space, once again the fe theory falls apart. but then i bet there is very few people on this site who actualy think it is true anyway.

Oh my days, do you people actually read back what you write? This thread has turned into a debate on American culture when that is not what it was about at all. If you actually read my post without having how you can pick it apart in the back of your mind the whole time, you would realise this.
Yes there was a slight “Americans are stupid” thing within my post but I didn’t mean it a literally as you seem to have thought so fuckin keep your wallabies together mate and how’s about just reading a post for what is written and not yearning for argument.

The post is about conspiracies, nothing else, and reading through all those last posts so far we have this that is of relevance….

Cheesejoff says: It's over 2 hours long, but I can say from past experience with other Alex Jones films (Loose Change) that his films are overflowing with lies and deceit.

In my opinion he has two purposes in making his films;

1) Simply to make money. Although this is a minor goal, it's clearly one his purposes. All of the videos on his website must be bought. I mean, if I knew the U.N was going to release a d34dly g4s of d00m on 80% of the population, I wouldn't be selling my videos; I'd be giving them away.

2) To transfer the public attention away from the real crimes perpetrated by global capitalism and it's sponsors. The part about the CIA training Al-Qaida to fight the Soviet union was indeed true, but I believe they only acknowledged the risk of them turning on the United States, rather than actually planning for it. Brzezinski said it best:

"What is most important to the history of the world? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet empire? Some stirred-up Muslims or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war?"

They knew there was a risk in training Al-Qaidi, but their goal was to destroy the Soviet Union.

And then I said: I can see some things Alex Jones says is a little far fetched, but there is truth in some of it, this video is just good because it covers a large range of issued {to do with America, as it is American}. I have seen things on these issues else where, but this just covers them all at once.

And so, that’s it, well done cheesejoff you win as the only person to say anything of relevance.

I love how bitchy you people can get, the point of this thread was not to start a debate as to how stupid Americans, or indeed I may be. American programs repeat them self’s, fact, that can get a little tedious so I was just trying to watch in despite of this.
I don’t think Americans are stupid; I don’t like my own countries policies any more than American.

The point of this tread was also not to convert you into Alex Jones fans, just to show people on hear who already believe that the government lies to them, that there are other more believable lies.

I can see some things Alex Jones says is a little far fetched, but there is truth in some of it, this video is just good because it covers a large range of issued {to do with America, as it is American}. I have seen things on these issues else where, but this just covers them all at once.

You believe that the world is flat; I think that you’re prepared to believe anything!
As for the bias against the American people
, Well I am not saying that they are all stupid, just that if you watch American programs they repeat them self’s loads, British people can understand things the first time round so that is presumably why British programs don’t.

I cant believe that you will believe that the earth is flat with NO real evidence but wont believe in the truth about how corrupt governments are when there is so much evidence to support it.

But wait, you don’t believe the earth is round when there is so much evidence so I guess it actually makes sense!

It isn’t really about FE but I figured that if you guys are eager for conspiracy then you might as well get into some that are true.

Watch the video if you haven’t.

If you people believe in these conspiracies, and even if you don’t hear is a video about actual conspiracies. Its done for American people so it repeats its self a lot but if you can look past the bull shit I think there is a lot of truth in it. It is well long but plough through the shit about the Oklahoma bombing cos it dose get better…

you have done well!

"let me ask...have you personally been into space? also, have you seen the round earth? this is truly not arguement for my belief in a flat earth either. but because spaceships exist, and it is believed that people have been into space, that does not create or provide any evidence for either of our beliefs."

aparently there is such a thing as wind, but have you actualy seen this wind? i think its part of a goverment conspirasy.
i could not possably write all the evedence for re theory and you could not possably write ANY evedence for fe theory.

people who beleve in fe seem to hide behind a "your not open to ideas" thing witch is just as laughable the american goverment.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger is a radio personality who dispenses advice to people who call in to her radio show. Recently, she said that, as an observant Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22 and cannot be condoned under any circumstance. The following is an open letter to Dr. Laura penned by a east coast resident, which was posted on the Internet. It's funny, as well as informative:

Dear Dr. Laura:
Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other specific laws and how to follow them:

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15:19- 24. The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?

I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? - Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

Your devoted fan,
Jim

freedom of speach is suppose to be something that you people are up for, yet when i poast interlectual, well thought out arguments within a friendly debate they are taken out of the forum? this is suppose to be a free exchange of ideas yet your website seems to be very hipocritical. lets eather have a free debate or a one side, censored forum where freedom of speach is reserved to one sided beliefs no better that the goverments they claim are hideing obviously non truths. if this poast is taken down then i will asume i am right.

there are many things the goverment hide from us,but i dont think this is one of those things. i do like the idea of an egg plant earth, but i feel it would be more like egg plant universe.

i suppose you people are aware of string theory, the one theory that combines both sciontific knowlage with the idea of a creater. notice i didnt use the word god, but creater.
