It's been more than a year since boydster went jerky mad. I wonder if he ate all of it.

Anyway to all you cooking nerds, the internet archives now has 10,000 historic cookbooks available

Those look wonderful because they don't have stories that are 2 pages long before the recipe. I'm in the store to see how to make something, to see if I have all of the ingredients and I have to read about somebody's grandparents before I find them.

I am not able to do that. But maybe I could with practice!

Which channels do you watch ALL THE TIME?

I just found this one the other day, it's in Chinese but she doesn't say anything anyway. It's so interesting and also relaxing at the same time. (also, she is lovely)

I love Hand Tool Rescue  He rebuilds old tools, there's no talking, or music, he just rebuilds the tools.

I listen to Alexrainbird music all the time. They come out with new playlist each month for the season. Its nice. My favorite is roadtrip.

Other than that my watching is mostly of comedians.

First I had July typed in, and I thought, "Nah, it'll be something like fireworks. So I thought maybe June, but I changed it to August hoping it wasn't hurricane season or something"

So when I say, "Next August" in your mind is a paper gridded calendar.

Flat Earth General / How do you view the calendar?

I have always viewed it as a rotating object around me, say like a giant rolled up piece of paper and when I think of next summer I see it on my left hand side and next fall is on my right.
Apparently this is a rare way to view the calendar in one's head.

If you are a flat earther, does your view change?

The “normal” form of the condition called synesthesia is weird enough: For people with this condition, sensory information gets mixed in the brain causing them to see sounds, taste colors, or perceive numbers as having particular hues.

But psychologist David Brang is studying a bunch of people with an even odder form of synesthesia: These people can literally “see time.”

Brang’s subjects have time-space synesthesia; because they have extra neural connections between certain regions of the brain, the patients experience time as a spatial construct.

In his research, Brang describes one patient who was able to see the year as a circular ring surrounding her body that rotated clockwise throughout the year. The current month was reportedly inside her chest with the previous month in front of her chest, reports New Scientist.

Describing the condition to New Scientist, Brang said:

“In general, these individuals perceive months of the year in circular shapes, usually just as an image inside their mind’s eye.”

Thank you for that explanation Boydster. I thought there was a release, but then I didn't hear enough about it from all the people I know who are Halo fans, so I wasn't sure what was going on.

I do not own any other gaming console.

Boydster, I have an xbox one but I have no idea what version, in fact I didn't even know there were versions! It is now mostly used for streaming services and the occasional game when I feel like it.
With the new xbox would I be able to play games with those that have the new one? Was there a Halo launch with this box? I
