compared to Jupiter...yup.  Try going to the bridge and applying direct observation.  You might be surprised

I still fall back on the Golden Gate Bridge...look any point on the bridge in a seaward direction, and you see the curvature from where you are standing all the way to Fort Point at the Southern end of the span.

ITS LIKE YOU GUYS TAKE PRIDE IN BEING INGNORANT EVERY THREAD I HAVE SEEN THAT has a logical arugment for round earth, no one responds but you respond to all the immature stupid ones like me rants.

What are you guys doing with your lives it makes me so frustrated that you will get other people to follow your bull shit propaganda, yeah i said the p word and used it not for the govermant.

You will all respond to this with some snotty smart ass remark but NONE of you will talk in the threads that prove you wrong.

Exactly... why is it that whenever i make a valid point the thread goes cold?

I use an anti-reflective attachment for my screen. The only trolls I see is this forum and well...this picture of your mother I found making love to a very attractive donkey.

Oh, such wit. You and attackhoe should get together sometime, I bet you'd make a lovely couple.

maybe you can have a threesome with the ram and penguin on your avatar. . .

Very good animation... i would like to know from a FE perspective, what keeps the sun accelerating with the earth and what keeps it turning around the earth?

I explained that, The mass has an effect on the fabric of space, it is like putting a heavy weight in the middle of a trampoline or bed and watching things roll towards it.

ill check back in the morning, i gotta get off

Ok... so back in the dawn of man there was a wizard. . . he was all powerful and one day he decided to... wait are you being sarcastic or am i the only one? ? ?

Flat Earth Debate / Re: Quick question
« on: August 17, 2008, 09:16:06 PM »
Ok so technically what you say is that it bounces fast enough to be faster then the earth for a brief time but the earth by now (due to constant acceleration) is far faster than the speed of light which would make the meteor going above light speed in which theoretically would make it stay lit after burning in the atmosphere but after contact with outer atmosphere it cools off quickly

What part of it because if i do the whole thing at once it just isnt as detailed cuz im a lazy typer sometimes

16
Flat Earth Debate / Re: Quick question
« on: August 17, 2008, 06:15:32 PM »
And what about those which skim across the atmosphere and even bounce off??? if we are accelerating then that would mean we would catch back up to it before it would have a chance to dissapear

Flat Earth Debate / Re: Quick question

thanks for the links but why is it if we are accelerating strait, we see them come in sideways?

19
Flat Earth Debate / Re: Acceleration causes gravitational effect?
« on: August 17, 2008, 05:53:14 PM »
Yes but you can do that with anything, you can fit a model around a theory that earth is shaped like dean martin's face and if people read it, it will make sense. . . .

Flat Earth Debate / Quick question
« on: August 17, 2008, 05:50:39 PM »
Ok im a RE guy and all that but i just wanna know in the FE opinion. . .

What are falling stars and why arent they coming straight down on us since we are the ones accelerating AND why is it that since we are constantly accelerating but when we go through a cloud of meteors they always enter the atmosphere at the same velocity???

AND why do they come in as an angle? ? ?

Eh well, he is the type that gives the REers a bad name. . .

just like robosteve gives FEers a bad name

Flat Earth Debate / Re: Try this experiment
« on: August 17, 2008, 05:42:17 PM »
Ok gravity is not universal, everyone is pulled towards the center of the ROUND earth which means it will make you stay the same, its like you think that people would slip and fall off the planet

Flat Earth Debate / Re: What makes you believe your right"
« on: August 17, 2008, 05:40:42 PM »
I dont know what gravity as does no one does but that does justify this theory
My father saw no ice shelves

You guys say there is a difference between evidence and proof

You have no proof either

I have no proof Russia exists because I have never been there

SOMEONE PROVE TO ME RUSSIA EXISTS

but i dont start a whole conspiracy about it

If one of you truely believe this, I would not be content as FE to just post comments back to RE's, go to Antartica and see the phenomnon known as water on the other side of it

Well you see, russia does not exist because it is far to distant for us humans to comprehend so it is all just a lie and the conflict in georgia with russia is to re-instate the belief of russia. . .

just kidding. . . russia rocks

oka nieba is russian for Sky Eye

Let me ask you one question.  This question will decide whether or not I continue to debate any other topics with you.  There is a really simple answer to this question.

In round earth theory, what causes all celestial bodies to have gravity?

Matter, it has a weight which effects thigs around it

spac e is a "fabric" so for the sake of debate lets say a trampoline is "space" if you set a weight in the middle of it and set marbles down at the edges of the trampoline the marbles will roll towards the weight

planets and celestial bodies are like the weight in this experiment, and everything else on them are the marbles . . .

if you need further explaining just tell me and tell me what part you want me to explain

I just saw the diagrams on the other topic that showed the FE theory of the sinking ship (light bending upwards)

So i made the RE interpretation of why the ships sink behind the horizon

Okay, i know that this is a hot topic on the forum right now. The sinking ship "theory"
i just drew up a little diagram to show how the pics from the sinking ship theory came to be that way. please discuss and say what you want and debate this . . .
