Suggestions & Concerns / Re: Illegal Advertisements are became free?
« on: January 22, 2020, 04:11:39 AM »

To slightly digress, one of the reasons I transferred my alliance to this site from ďthereĒ, was the greater concentration of deeply ugly people that frequented it, and whilst that may sound shallow and most certainly is, I canít be seen hanging around with puglies, I make an exception with regards to the antipodean contingent (here) as the UK exiled a whole sub-class with troll genes some time back and baking that DNA for two centuries seems only to have exacerbated problem, and we do feel both terribly sorry for them but also eternally grateful they have gone.

DD was killed by Crouton, nothing Boyd could have done, and DD coming out with the big reveal got him killed, but Shifter at no time said there were only two Penguins,
Quote
There will be penguins but the number will be unknown
DD surmised that, as we said I had killed Gayer (I didnít) and Junker (I did), specifically to give that impression.

Hear,hear.

Have to say, thoroughly enjoyed that, after I got caught butchering Junks, we had to make the call on killing who we believed was the Sneaky peep thief, knowing it might lose us the magnificent SCG in the  process, and then hope that with his subtle and silky playing style Croutís could get us to the end, which he did with spades, 3 kills, (Gayer, Boyd and DD/sherlock), man of the match.

Shifter excellent job.

Oooh, that's going to hurt in the morning DD.

Tell me how you worked out there were only two penguins again DD, the four of us found that piece of deduction worthy of Holmes and Watson, especially Moriarty over there.

Alright, going to lay everything out publicly here. We know there are 2 player penguins, because jura killed on nights 1 and 2, by admitting to killing gayer and junker.

Te-hee, I did a  fib.

clearly things are out of kilter here, something has to be done, Jura drifts off to talk to Jane after putting some of the jelly-fish stings from Boydsta's pit in Wises spare mankini.

Yeah they have roots, the soils they live in are low nutrient peat bogs, tree bolls and the like, the eating of insects is an adaptation to offset that.

I resolve to get Mike to try some of those psilocybin packed fungi he must come across from time to time on his forays, not least so his posts become a little more engaging.

Do mushrooms, i don't know, sounds good... :o
Besides we get amanita muscaria around here, the one super mario eats. and italians apparently have always eaten, boiled in multiple changes of water. Apparently its a whole other animal, not psylocibin, it's muscarine which eventually lands you in comatose like state (edit: for a few hrs), but commonly labeled as deadly, which in my opinion is a complete lie, so i'm definitely intrigued.

It's not the Muscarine that gets you, it's the Muscimol and it's availability in Fly Agarics is wildly variable.
The Laps used to feed them to their Reindeer and then collect the urine and drink that to concentrate the active ingredients, there are unpleasant side effects to getting a large dose, loss of control of bladder and bowls apparently and vomiting. Which is why I suggest the psilocybin ones, but no deaths that I can find, or get some Reindeer.

On a serious note, don't do it if you are in a fearful state and only in a safe place where you can be so for hours.

NO! JUNKER!!!!

Who was it that led us into this god forsaken place? I'm blind with a mix of anger, heartbreak, and surprise. Reeling. Jura led us here. "Go to the tunnel." "You'll love the tunnel." " Everyone's going to the tunnel, you don't want to be left out." "There's fish in the tunnel." It was coming back vividly. And with benefit of hindsight, boydster suspected this was a not-even-carefully laid trap.

Donít you be going there with your obsessive ant killing dance steps and your pit of death. All I did was follow the clues and report back, if anyone is to be blamed for Junkers death itís Wise and his badly conceived reverse psychology method of not getting him killed, by way of announcing he would be, thereby appealing to any penguin looking for either devilment or convoluted reasons to murder.

Now letís get out of here before you start a stampede with your accusations.

I like house plants too. We don't have many, but among my favorites that we do have is the venus fly trap. It'll probably not last long, because keeping house plants alive is not among the things I would consider to be my top talents, but I do like it.

Shit Boyd, we the same people man, left handed owners of Venus fly-traps, uncanny.

I also had a huge  pitcher plant until the dog knocked it off the coal bunker when I put it out last summer.
If the plants seem to be attracting bugs (more likely food or your feet), get a Venus, only water it with rainwater (that probably rules you Aussies out actually) , mine has grown for 3 years in a north facing conservatory in England so it can't be that hard to grow, and it snaffles flies.

See? SEE? Crowded panic, dead Davisís and disappeared Junkerís and fuck knows where they are and how many more times people will start with the screaming and the running, shit.
Jura took a deep breath, okay, you donít blindly project a space fold into a cavern it must have been discovered, if we spread out into a less stampedee  formation and feel our way around in a non-trample fashion, feel for breezes and shit, like Skippy or that fucking dog, keep each other in sight and no running.

Jura didnít mind tunnels, she did mind crowded tunnels, if there was a word for ďfear of being killed in a stampede in a tunnelĒ then it applied to her, and she would wear the badge and punch you in the face if you took the piss.
On top of that she was having second thoughts about going to Tasmania, the discovery and its implication had been exiting at first, but in retrospect she didnít think she had explored enough, either the mines and their constructors or whether or not it was wise to just follow blindly an avatar of a man, not even an up to date avatar either. As such she was hanging further and further back from the group, looking for side rooms and niches she could dip into should everyone come running screaming towards her with their big fucking killy boots.
