Holy crap the necro. I had totally forgotten about this place...

And if your beliefs lead to your actions?

Was that directed to me? If so what exactly do you mean?

No, that was directed to Omega.

Quote
If your actions are good, you are good. That is my point. It does not matter where they stem from.

If I do not believe in a deity, but I behave in a moral and positive manner, I am not inferior to someone who does believe in a supernatural entity.

It's your actions that count. Not whatever great spirit you happen to think exists.
Fair point. The problem mostly comes down to the definition of what is moral and positive: how do you know you are actually acting morally and positively?

Anyone claiming to be a better person because of their relgion is a poser and a hypocrite.

Why?

Deeper in to the earth = towards the center of the earth, dumbass.

Can you seriously not understand how spheres work? If you start from a random point on the surface and go towards the center you are going down in the most direct way possible.

That is a bit of a strawman. I'd say those that say that chivalry is dead are older, more conservative women.

Not only that, there would be a window for law enforcement to intervene.

What surprises me the most is that the US has a 25% higher firearm death rate that Mexico, which is basically at war with itself.

First of all, one of the links is fundamentally broken. It links to www.gasandoil.com/goc/reports/rex80935.htm instead of http://www.gasandoil.com/goc/reports/rex80935.htm. This means the link will be interpreted being a link to a file on your own server. So, unless the link magically broke itself in the last 15 years (read: it didn't), you obviously didn't even try the link.

The other does work, however, when I access an archived version of the site from 2001.

I went digging around a little for reports and found these articles and reports:
http://commdocs.house.gov/committees/Trans/hpw105-74.000/hpw105-74_1.HTM
http://www.nap.edu/read/10199/chapter/4#43
http://www.offshore-technology.com/features/feature1674/ (Think this article sums it up the best)

It seems like the reason your tanker design was rejected was because it did not meet the US Coast Guard's requirements. From the last article:

Quote
"The coast guard has correctly noted that the majority of spills in US waters result from low-impact collisions and groundings and that the double-hull design, therefore, would provide maximum protection,"

Maybe you might want to get a separate domain or split your site into business matters and your theories without constantly intermingling the two? It'd make it quite a bit more professional.

Btw, do you have any patents for your design? I went looking around on Swedish and French patent databases and found nothing from Heiwa Co about the Coulumbi egg design or even just "tanker".

An interesting video of several simulations of mass shootings and how students with varying firearm experience (mostly low) react to the situation:

Also, some food for thought: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/gun-science-proves-arming-untrained-citizens-bad-idea/
Quote
Consider a 1998 study in the Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery that found that “every time a gun in the home was used in a self-defense or legally justifiable shooting, there were four unintentional shootings, seven criminal assaults or homicides, and 11 attempted or completed suicides.”

I just watched a video today of woman saying they were all for equality but men should still pay for dates. I find that shit infuriating on the other side of the coin.

Honestly, I think that the draft is worse than this. Not that it really matters right now with the current state of warfare, but it is still an example of sexism affecting both genders. Men are expected to give their life for the country while women are viewed as too weak to serve (although this is partially true for frontline combat due to anatomical differences). I hope this push for a draft for both genders will eventually lead to the draft just no longer existing.

I don't think you're getting the clear message right now: he doesn't care.

But it does seem quite probable according to most historians: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historicity_of_Jesus

Nevermind the design of the website being absolutely horrendous and made on a cheap host for such an important site (how are you even getting enough bandwith for 2000000 visits a years) but who the fuck puts "assbook" as one of the main navigation links on a business site?

Not only that, your "cognitive dissonance" warnings would be sure to scare off anyone that wanted to work with you.

Finally, all of the links you give as "proof" of your design being rejected are either a. on site (i.e. easily faked) or b. give 404 errors.

Who determined that GPS works in the Andromeda Galaxy in order for you people to determine that it is "Universal"?  Also, you have no idea how Zeteticism works, idiot, so don't pretend you do.  It does not mean that you have to personally measure everything, dummy.  How many more fallacies are you going to post today?  My guess is 12.  ::)
As you know we are discussing GPS coverage on earth.

That is a perfect analogy. With these new and improved tools, why learn the old way?

Starting fires using traditional methods (such as with a bow or flint) are unreliable and often impractical, just like old navigation systems. Its much easier to just whip out a lighter and use the technology you have to do the job much better.
