Yet another falls to the Emo-la virus (aka, the black eyeliner plague). I'm quoting a very special someone here.
I beg to differ.
It is not free will that is an illusion, but time that is an illusion. It creates the illusion that free will is an illusion.
Gravitation holds us to the ground. This gravitation is caused by acceleration. I believe it because it makes sense, and simple experiments can prove its existence. For example: Hold a pen, then let it go. Evidence of acceleration.
Or it is evidence that the earth is exerting an attractive force on the pen.
Your example can be used as evidence for both
Yep, so you RE'ers should learn to take the hint.
....What?
'Gravity' and acceleration are locally indistinguishable, therefore any experiment or situation that is explained by 'gravity' can also be explained by acceleration. Thus, all gravity arguments are moot.
Human, your eyeballs are pretty, but not as pretty as my new bonsai tree!
The digital nomad - what an intolerant long haired fag.
You get back in YOUR hole you repugnant ass. I've been here since long before you and I'll still be here long after your gone.
By the way, you are not so different from your folks. Your atheism is the logical, natural, and expected effect of their stuffy protestantism. You're just as repulsive. So get a life stupid american.
