If I understood everything correctly while I was lurking, FE'ers believe light to propagate like this. (Which, I think, is really weird for them.)

I was lucky enough to witness a total solar eclipse on 1999.08.11., in Hungary. That event would have been really hard to dismiss as a product of impaired vision.
