This is kinda off topic, but anyone that has stayed at the beach for a day or so will notice the tides. during one part of the day the ocean level is alot lower than it is at high tide. on a perfectly flat world how does this work? in real life it is cause by the gravitational tug of the moon. the fact that high tide occurs on the same and oppsite side of the earth that is facing the moon, while the side of the earth that are 90 degrees from the moon get low tide. i think this is conclusive evidence we can verify with our eyes that the earth is indeed flat, and gravity is real, and the moon orbits earth witch orbits the sun. also the sun causes a slight tide and when the sun and moon come in close alignment with the earth it causes a greater tide called a spring tide.

ok so basically your saying you dont have a technical explaination, or detailed information on how volcanoes, plate tectonics, and faults (the cracks in the earth were 2 plates are crunching against each other) in the flat-world? doesnt that ever make you think or wonder? i like you bullhorn because you seem very nice, and i would like to get an interesting discussion going about this. in the flat-earth theory how does volcanoes and lava work?

Navak37 has shown you a picture that he says is the ice wall and you don’t believe him.  Bill shows you a picture and you don’t believe him. I would also be fair and say that Dr. Bill's picture is a fake.  The fact of the matter is that no matter what we as flat earther’s say you guys whom believe in the round earth will say that we don’t have any evidence, what I am going to say is that the evidence for a flat earth is all around us, round earther’s are stuck in the biggest cover up in history and don’t know it.  When a lie is taught in school, and when a lie is stated as fact by EVERY academic institution and government it does not become a lie anymore it becomes a believed fact.  When you look into the distance you see flat.  In order to prove that a round earth exists we need to rely on technology to do it whether it be in an airplane. Or space flight, or satellites in orbit.  We also have to understand “physics” and “mathematics.” Both of these fields require one to attend a academic institution and learn from the liars that teach in them.  Step outside the box and look at the world the way it really is FLAT

bullhorn do you mind if i ask you some personall questions? how old are you, and what religion or cult affiliation do you align with? i think the only way you will ever belive the earth is round is if we strap you in a rocket and launch u into sub-orbit and let you see for yourself that the earth is round.

but what about the san andreas fault, you can map it out by land, or proably see evidence of it from an airplane. its the line where 2 big plates are clashing in california, its part of the "ring of fire" that surrounds the pacific ocean. how can it be explained with the scientific method, without the idea od a round earth with plate tectonics?

Ok lets assume the earth is flat, and that gravity is a lie and that all other untangible evidence is either a lie or has been doctored by a conspiracy. Can we then deny volcanoes (mt. st. helens in washington blew in 1980, and is bubble right now) and earth quakes (i used to live in los angeles where the earthquake report is part of the daily tv news). how does this work? are volcanoes and earthquaks rumblings when god is upset? if u belive in round earth, and that the earth's center is made up of molten metal and magma under intense pressures, then it makes sense (sorry i have a very vague description, but ur on the internet and there are plenty of ways to find sources of information on this topic that ill let you discover on your own) anyways i dont know if this has been discussed yet but i think it is an interesting point of arguement.

if you do a google image search for the term "ice wall" this both images used by novak76 pops up first page of listings. the first image is that of an ice wall near mt. kilimanjaro. http://geowww.uibk.ac.at/glacio/RESEARCH/KILI/

 the second image used is

it has nothing to do with flat earth ideology and why you choose to use these images as evidence of the great magical ice wall is puzzleing to me.

ShorD143 what was unreadable about my mockery, beside the fact i didnt use proper grammer (i.e. capitol letters, proper punctiation, or wahtever) the only word i misspelled was evolution, which i did purposely (EVIL-ution) as a play on words. are you not clever to pick up on this?

this has turned more from a place for "serious discussion on a serious subject" to grammar school. who gives a shit that i mispelled arguement, were u still able to read it no problem, it was like spelled "rquemant" or some crap. and when i was saying that 6strings is upset and doesnt want to admit the truth, i was being full-heartedly sarcastic, you guys cant seem to rebuttle his arguement, and the only way you can rebuttle with me is point out incorrect spelling. look asshats i am still a kid, but even at my young age i am probably alot more intellegent than you. the fact of spelling being incorrect is minor, as the point is clearly made. if i wanted to be critisized on spelling id go to the Spelling and Grammar forums.

sweet smoking dippys is fun. anyways i did a google on air resistance, with a define: prefix. second definition was: Friction, or drag, that acts on some­thing moving through air.
air is in fact made up of particles, and even pieces of dust and spores, hence the magical atmosphere conditiontions that a cause a 24 hour day/night cycle of flat-earth. and when particles hit and rub against each other it cause friction, and heat. ever wonder why the columbia shuttle blew up on atmosphere rentry in 2003?

Alright so if the world is magically flat, and is rushing up at us at 9.8 meters per second, then explain why objects accelerate when falling. a simple expirament would be to drop something or jump off a short ledge, drop a couple of feet and land no problem, then jump off the building and youll go faster and faster untel you hit terminal velocity, at which point the friction of air will keep you at a steady rate of fall (which i dont think would work in a flat-earth setting). anyways my arguement doesnt do much to prove the earth is flat, i just want to make sure we all know what gravity is. This is my first post and honestly some of the "flat-earth" posts and arguements ive read are complete crap and i cant belive anyone could seriously belive this. they take for granted that they are using super advanced computer technology and the internet  (both of which were made over a long period of time by scientists and governments, using the scientific method) to communicate there ideas and then say that NASA and everyone that belives the earth is round, and all is liars, conspirators, or whatever. i dont know but i love reading your posts 6strings, i think you are very intelligent. novak67 is a dippy.
