The sky looks round because the Earth is flat. If the Earth was round the sky would look flat. They're not mutually exclusive. Having said that, you may be perceiving the sky as extra round because of geese. I hope I have clarified things for you.

So I just joined guys. Please take it easy on me. Ive always been a questioner of conventional beliefs and never bought the earth is round thing. NASA are a bunch of crooks.

Welcome aboard Dar...I mean jugssister1. I'm new also. Allow me to introduce...myself. I am _____earth and when describing the shape of the earth I use the word flat instead of spherical. I feel that there is a conspiracy to keep the flatness of the earth hidden. I don't think flat is *technically* correct either because of the mountains and valleys and stuff though, but you know what I mean. Also, I believe there are more than 24 hours in a day.

I look forward to some lively discussion with you and the rest of the board. No, seriously!
