No, the Harry Potter concept is not specifically a part of the Conspiracy. The point is, the film uses the same computer "wizardry" (geddit?) as the Conspiracy uses to fake shuttle launches, pictures of the Earth from space and other anomalous information.

Except every single effect in the film is distinguishable as such.

And it takes months to do not live or in a day.

So it must be absolutely positively taken from an airplane, there's no way at all they could have replaced the word "balloon" with "airplane".

And they say flat-Earther's are gullible...

i dont see how it matters, if you're really high up like in the picture you'll see the curve in a plane or balloon.

Show me where it is profitable for the world to believe the Earth round as oppossed to being flat, and why all these different regimes who fucking hate each other and cause world wars would agree to keep secret the fact the earth is flat.

If the government are able to hide the fact that the Earth is flat, they could pocket themselves a nice lump of cash. This cash could be used for any number of things, the most accepted theory was put forward by Dogplatter, which is: The government wish to use this money survive after the Earth so to speak, they want a way to not have to rely on the Earth to sustain their lives after it's death.

The maths is absolutely unnecessary, the curve of the earth over a 6km distance would be so small, refraction would easily make up for it.
