Flat Earth Q&A / The Atmosphere, wind
« on: September 15, 2006, 12:24:17 PM »
so you're saying centrifugal force is stronger than the gravitational pull of the earth?
oh and if you up a few thousand feet in a plane or something you'll find those "tremendous" winds you mentioned.

No, the Harry Potter concept is not specifically a part of the Conspiracy. The point is, the film uses the same computer "wizardry" (geddit?) as the Conspiracy uses to fake shuttle launches, pictures of the Earth from space and other anomalous information.

Except every single effect in the film is distinguishable as such.

And it takes months to do not live or in a day.

is george lucas part of it too?

plus i dont see how harry potter has anything to do with it, if you've ever read it it's about wizards and i dont think it has ever mentioned the shape of the earth.

It's probably run for and by the Conspiracy in order to keep internet addicts in the dumb trance symptomatic of the technological disease which stops us questioning them and keeps us unaware of the real issues facing humanity and the Earth.

I'm not convinced. The Conspiracy made films like Star Wars and Harry Potter - they CAN fake anything.

you what? the "government" wrote harry potter?

Flat Earth Q&A / GPS
« on: September 09, 2006, 02:28:23 AM »
thats a really feeble arguement, you can't answer the question so every single government has been lieing about radio about how powerful it is, if its so powerful why say we have satellites if radio was already in place.

Well the writing underneath the picture on the site, said it was taken from a plane......

So it must be absolutely positively taken from an airplane, there's no way at all they could have replaced the word "balloon" with "airplane".

And they say flat-Earther's are gullible...

i dont see how it matters, if you're really high up like in the picture you'll see the curve in a plane or balloon.

Show me where it is profitable for the world to believe the Earth round as oppossed to being flat, and why all these different regimes who fucking hate each other and cause world wars would agree to keep secret the fact the earth is flat.

If the government are able to hide the fact that the Earth is flat, they could pocket themselves a nice lump of cash. This cash could be used for any number of things, the most accepted theory was put forward by Dogplatter, which is: The government wish to use this money survive after the Earth so to speak, they want a way to not have to rely on the Earth to sustain their lives after it's death.

pocket cash from what exactly? do they have a bet with someone so they get money everyday we still believe it's round?

Flat Earth Q&A / The Largest Nuclear Explosion
« on: August 19, 2006, 08:41:20 AM »
well considering the radioactive waves emitted from the explosion can penentrate most materials and are only stopped by lead and thick concrete i'm pretty sure it can penetrate some gases

everything that disproves the world is flat is part of the conspiracy.

why am i an idiot?

is it because i asked you to not insult people and be curteous to others like they are being to you?

i don't see how those two fit together?

oh i understand now, requesting manners must mean im stupid, how obvious how did i not see this before, probably due to my stupidity.

i would like proof of why this qwerty789 guy knows what he's talking about when he says socialaztec has no clue whatsoever and yet does not back it up or tell us why he's wrong

The maths is absolutely unnecessary, the curve of the earth over a 6km distance would be so small, refraction would easily make up for it.

Try the math, see how stupid you are in silence afterwards.  If on the other hand you just admit you have no clue as to how TO DO the math, I'll post it for you.

woah less hostility please, where in any of his posts did he call you stupid.

that makes sense to me, if it's true then that is a real kick in the balls to the people that use this guy as reasoning for their beliefs.
