Flat Earth General / Re: Are Round Earthers Internet Trolls?
« on: May 10, 2011, 02:35:09 PM »

Sometimes we need to ask the same question over and over again because we never get proper answers.  For example, how many times have I asked you how you can tell the difference between moonlight from bioluminescent shrimp and any other form of luminescence without any proper answer?

For the sake of FES should brining up moon shrimp with out providing evidence be considered trolling?

This is the perfect place to show us the full theory and the empirical evidence that supports these conclusions. So far we have Dreams about moon shrimp and observing light from the moon. The question of how the light is determined to be originating from moon shrimp has yet to be answered.

Parallax can also be used to measure the distance between the earth and the moon.

But wouldn't having a dream that involves moon shrimp be just considered evidence that one can dream about moon shrimp and not that they exist on the moon outside of the dream.

Sorry I should have been more clear. I don't consider dreams about moon shrimp  as evidence for their existence. I consider dreams about moon shrimp as evidence that we can dream about moon shrimp. I just wanted to list the only two pieces of evidence that FE have presented in 27 pages of posts.

To be perfectly honest the request was for empirical evidence not valid evidence. LW's dream fits the definition of empirical. So far two pieces of evidence have cropped up.

1. We can observe moon shrimp while experiencing a dream.
    (I have not yet observed moon shrimp during a dream but I have no reason to believe that it's impossible.)
2. Light can be observed when looking at the moon.
    (I have not seen a way to tell the difference between light that is organic in origin vs. other light sources     presented yet.)

I looked at the hi res picture and it looks like overlapping foot prints with the same sole to me.

If the flat earth was rotating at one rotation per 108 min that would produce a measurable centrifugal force would it not?

I will be testing this myself to see if I can find a species that produces a light similar to moonlight over the next week or two.

Good thing we already found one. Moon Shrimp.

I would love to get a moon shimp so I can independtly verify this. Please tell me where you found a moon shrimp for testing and did you require anything special for its care.

You can see from the following web site it is possible to build a crude spectrograph with items found around the house. You will notice that the both sunlight and moon light cover the full visible light spectrum. I fund a study on bioluminescence and have included a chart of their results. You can see that that individual species have a rather narrow wavelength compared to moon light. I will be testing this myself to see if I can find a species that produces a light similar to moonlight over the next week or two. I would like to encourage others to join me because if FE can produce a species that matches moonlight they will have actual evidence of moon shrimp.

This has been done to death.

FE:     I see light coming from the moon and the only logical conclusion is the the light is from moon shrimp.
RE:     What evidence do you have that the light comes from moon shrimp?
FE:     I see light coming from the moon.

It has been asked before. What is the evidence that the light coming from the moon is from moon shrimp and not another source?

Congratulations we now have empirical evidence that Lord Wilmore dreams. Now back to empirical evidence that the light from the moon is originating from moon shrimp.

I think we can safly say that there is no empirical evidence to support moon shrimp. There is evidence that light comes from the moon. I agree it is quite very buitiful. I have not read of a way to determine the orgin of the light in what has now become 17 pages of non awnsers to the origional question.

Now I would like to direct this question at him, or any others who can answer it adequately: what ample empirical evidence suggests that the creatures which produce light on the moon are in fact shrimp-like bacteria?

Wow 16 pages and no method for differentiating light originating from moon shrimp and other sources presented.

I see evidence of it every night I wear my sunglasses and gaze at the moon. It is quite beautiful!

How do we distinguish the difference between light from moon shrimp and light reflecting off the surface of the moon?

How do we distinguish the difference between light from moon shrimp and light reflecting off the surface of the moon?
  It is my belief that all the light originates from the surface of the moon. The sun is similar to a spotlight and all it's rays hit the earth.
I'm sorry but that is non responsive to the question so the original question remains. Is there any evidence that the light is originating from the moon instead of being reflected from the sun?

Lets pretend to agree that the light is organic in origin. How do you identify what the organism emitting the light is?

Well if you would like to see something that RE scientists have put into orbit just follow the previous iss link. All you have to do is tell it your zip code and it will tell you when you can walk outside and see the iss for yourself.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: UA and terminal velocity
« on: June 18, 2010, 07:24:07 AM »
Unfortunately no. The terminal velocity of an object is based on wind resistance. Since the air (in FET) is accelerating upward with the earth it would function the same way as RE.

In the FET the earth does not have gravity because is is "special". I really wish I could find an answer to how high you have to go to be affected by the UA.

The same reason sailboats disappear behind the horizon. The light bends upward and cannot be seen by someone standing on the ground.

E=mc2

E= Energy
m= Mass
c= The speed of light in a vacuum

Those are the variables in the equation and the terms were defined by Einstein. Are you really not familiar with this equation? Do you think Thevoiceofreason is changing how the terms are defined?

Here is one that a college student built.

There are many home built submarines that anyone with a welder and some parts can build. So you are saying that the governments of the world are incapable of building functional submarines? What part of building a submarine is technologically beyond us?
