Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Infinite Plane?

well I have a friend that's going to study aeronomical science... or something with a name like that. Apparently he'll learn to fly a plane as part of the course.... I'll try and get proof of him doing exactly this :P

does this mean I would never come to a point that I recognised? are you saying the earth goes on forever? after the contienents is it just sea.... forever?
Some believe the earth ends with the ice wall being the edge. Others believe the Ice wall extends infinitely. Either way The sea ends at the Ice wall. Yes, if you traveled in a perfectly straight line on a FE you would never come to an identical point you have already passed

so what about planes? have planes ever gone over the ice wall? or does the government tell them they aren't allowed to? (I'm not trying to deliver a low blow here, I'm just curious as to your theories)

If you walked in a perfectly straight line you would never return to your original position

So the FErs that beleive in the infinite plain theory.

Does this mean, that if I hold a piece of string and theoretically walked from one point of the earth in a straight line to come back to the point I was at the in the first place, there would be no string there because the earth goes on forever?

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Vision

the thing I don't get is why do people think the earth is so special, it's coincidence that the planet happened to have the right climate for life to start... it's not special, it's just in the right place at the right time
Then it follows that you are not special. In fact, you may have been strained through a sheet.

I never said I was special, I don't quiet understand what you're trying to say here either.

Also, I still want to know if FErs think that other planets are flat...

Flat Earth General / Why?

I know I just made a thread but this is a much bigger question.

Why would scientists and astronauts and such need to lie about the world being round? What do they have to gain from this?

How do FErs describe not being able to see across a plain forever? it just seems logical to me that you can't see forever because of the curve of the earth.

also, do they beleive that the earth is the only flat planet in the universe? or that they're all flat?
