They, for some reason, think that gravity doesn't exist, and we aren't orbiting around the Sun.
That's why soap bubbles take the same shape. i done see many bubbles that are flat
even if the earth was 'flat' over time gravity and the spinning motion in space and the orbit around the sun would make it round....
I don't understand why, but that's what they think.
i always thought that to..... but its the only thing that makes reasonable sense..

to make it simpler for the f.e.t to understand.. A sphere is the simplest energy-efficient geometric shape to contain a given quantity of matter thus the earth must be round.

For the sake of argument, I am discussing a flat Earth which may or may not be infinite in extent, and which has its own gravitational field.
this is nice and everything.... but i really want to know your description of this flat earth how can you really believe in something you have no image of?? if your religious and you want to bring god into this plz don't. god said he made us in a image of himself.... just answer the question?

Stars which are too far away will not have their light reach you, due to it bending upwards back into the sky.

The curvature of the horizon.
The shadow of the earth casts on the moon during an eclipse.
how can a flat surface have a gravitational pull to keep the moon in orbit, or how can we obit around the sun.... or are you guys going to come up with anther stupid group " the sum obits the earth society'?

this is a good theory but is this flat earth 3 dimensional? and what shape is it? is it square, circle , triangle?? does this flat earth have a core and if it does how was it shape with out gravity?? if gravity pushing everything into the center (inward) wouldn't the earth be round?? just thing about the big band theory. how likely is it that a flat earth can orbit around the sun. or the moon can orbit around it?

I'm a grade 9 student and my science teacher is very smart he told us the the pictures we see from space are all flat and theirs no way to really prove the the earth is round or flat , and the theory about the sun reflecting the earths shadow on the moon can be wrong to, because any flat surface that is round object can make the same shadow and the moons surface.
