Flat Earth General / Gravity visualised
« on: December 07, 2013, 04:48:47 AM »
Hello

Found this video on youtube about gravity, not sure if it's been posted before so sorry if it has, it's quite interesting especially about a 3rd of the way in when he demonstrates the earth and moon

 " class="bbc_link" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">

I liked it anyway!

Flat Earth General / a nice video

Just seen this and thought it was another example that represents a round earth and not a flat earth.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Low Gravity
« on: September 21, 2009, 02:58:22 AM »
if i jump of a cliff the rate i fall gets faster the longer i fall because of gravity.
In FET there is no gravity just the earth rising at a set speed, so if i jumped of a cliff in fet i would hover there untill the earth came to me making it seem i was falling, but the speed i was falling wouldnt get faster would it

If i droped a brick of a cliff then the speed it falls accelerates untill it reaches the maximum gravity will allow it.
How can this happen in FET if the earth is travelling at a constant speed the brick wont need to accelerate will it.

Flat Earth Q&A / Rowbotham's experiment
« on: September 13, 2009, 10:28:00 AM »
when Rowbotham carried out his experiments to prove the earth flat, The one with the measurments 6 miles apart along a stretch of water and he could still see the white sheet touching the water, Wouldn't this also prove that light does not bend.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: One Credible Source
« on: September 11, 2009, 09:15:31 AM »
Name one credible, living scientist who agrees that we live on a flat earth.

Tom Bishop.

Are you serious?!  Tom Bishop, by his irrationality, frequent self-contradictions and demonstrable untruths has done more damage to the credibility of the FET he epouses that some of the strongest arguments of the most knowledgeable and credible FET opponents who have posted here.  If I had come to this site initially undecided about whether FET or RET was correct, Tom's posts alone would have irrevocably convinced me that FET and those who believe in it are completely irrational!
That is slander! Tom Bishop is one of the greatest FE minds, second only to Rowboatham himself!
Whats so great about Tom Bishop?

Maybe on massive cargo ships when they have uneven loads but not on small boats and even so they would need to sink quite far to apear to sink. This conspiracy is getting a bit out of control if there are claims boats purposly sink to make the earth apear round

I went on a cruise a couple of years ago and every time we left port every one was on deck and it did not submerge any more the furthere out it got.
also some people in our party had a window room quite far down near sealevel and i am sure they would have been concerned and mentioned the sea level raising towards there window.
I think the secret tanks idea is a joke and if its not then you need help!

I'm sure you know the heat doesn't come from the light but from the bulb that heats up inside, yes?

You got it the wrong way. The light is a result of the heat, not the heat is the result of a light.

The heat comes from the element producing the light, that is just one way of producing light .
Led lights give of no heat as there is no element.

What do fer's make of ufo sightings, Roswell and other Conspiracies? Are they double conspiracies? As there is no way they could be true if fe did exist.
And also Area 51 and other things like that, what would be the point in making people belive that there hiding things that if the earth was flat could not possiably happen.

Actually if you believe in an infinite Earth as some true believers here do you could say that our resources may very well be limitless.
Only if you could get past the ice wall though, Is that correct

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Are Documentary makers Conspirators?
« on: August 05, 2009, 03:01:26 PM »
First of all Bingle, the Arctic and Antarctic are not the same thing, and yes, the distinction is important. Secondly, some FE'ers believe that Antarctica is not the ice wall, and exists as a distinct island-continent, much like in RET.

It seems there are so many differnt views on the make up of FE that there is always an easy way out of any argument by simply using another FE model and its slight changes for referance.

Wilmore you belive that there is an ice wall so why not answer the question from your view on FE instead of shrugging it of with saying: some FE'ers believe that Antarctica is not the ice wall, and exists as a distinct island-continent, much like in RET.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Humber Bridge
« on: August 02, 2009, 03:37:08 PM »
i dont know for sure but i doubt they needed to account for the curviture of the earth as it is such a small measurement compaired to the size of the bridge.
Its proberly something that they realised after final measurements and used it as a interesting fact for the bridge.

He had a PhD in chemistry, and was probably one of the most well educated people you'd meet.
Did he belive the earth was flat as well?

I like the fact that Raist is fighting this losing battle on his own, Do you think other FE'RS ars staying away because there is no fe answer for this?

What makes you say that the figures have been around longer than lazer devices?

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Humber Bridge
« on: July 26, 2009, 02:29:35 PM »
If you think the only way they could do it was with a tape measure you dont deserve to be on this earth flat or round!!
The technology around these days, i.e. lazer measuring tools, they could tell you with in milli meters.
You must be thinking to yourself that you might just be wrong.

Raist
Ithink your clutching at straws with these answers.
It dosnt matter what surface you build the towers on, as long as you build the 2 towers verticly level you will have the same effect.
And what do you mean they didnt measure it, what sort of remark is that, did everyone turn up to a multi-million pound project without a tape measure? Are you for real?

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Humber Bridge
« on: July 26, 2009, 01:50:29 PM »
Raist
You keep saying the bridge is crooked but its not, it is perfetly level in every way. The towers do this because of the curviture and we accept 'level' as being the curviture of the earth.
Because NASA and all the rest of them have nothing to do with the bridge, i think it is concrete proof of RE and i cant see how anyone can argue with that and keep a strait face.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Humber Bridge
« on: July 26, 2009, 01:13:37 PM »
That is an outrageous claim, RE architects built a crooked bridge, and you claim that fe'ers would have built an even more crooked one.
Which part of the bridge is crooked? Towers are vertical(it's measurable on place itself), highway on the bridge is level(I guess it's also measurable), nothing crooked there.

the bridge looks like this    \-----/

and you are saying it isn't crooked?
Highway part is straight and that is most important part. And I said, if you go and check at first the towers separately then each of them are perpendicular to the Earth. Towers are vertical if looked separately. Then according to first measurements it must look like |------| But when you go to the next step and measure also distance between bottoms and tops then you got results which indicate \-----/ . It kind of needs an explanation.
the bridge looks like this    \-----/

In the picture above the highway would be curved and this would be a very long and high bridge if you can picture the earth below it. it is a very exagerated diagram
