This proves that light bends.

You see how flat earth theory can prove anything without requiring a shred of evidence.

You need evidence to prove anything. Here is proof that the Earth is round. The farther North and South of the equator you go the colder it is. If it was flat It would be in excess of 100F all over the world.

Yet where the horribly shaky translation suits the purposes of the Christians, the Bible must be taken literally? "Almah" translates to a young girl who may or may not be a virgin, but that's unconditionally mistranslated to give us the idea of virgin birth.

That's 'cause the "virgin birth" is wicked cool.

And which side are you on?

Like most Christians, I don't believe 100% of the Bible. I don't believe the parts about the virgin birth, the resurrection, Jesus being sent by God, most of Revelation, and other things. I believe in the flat earth parts though.

If the earth was flat the moon would be a new moon for about 15 days and 15 days it would be a full moon.

I'm back!

I thought of something while I was gone. What causes the sun to move in a circle above the center of the Earth? The only time that something naturally moves in a circle is if there is something in the middle to pull it towards the midpoint of the circle. (like gravity). But gravity doesn't exist.

What are the FES's thoughts about this? And what about the moon's movement? There is nothing about this obvious flaw in the FAQ, so I am asking! 

The Earth is far too small to have the sun and the other planets to be gravitationally attracted towards it. The Earth is slowly losing the moon from its weak gravitational force. The Sun generates enough force to pull the 8 planets towards it. If the planets did not maintain a constant speed around the Sun the planet would have been engulfed by the Sun.
