Flat Earth General / Re: Does the climate change break the ice walls?
« on: February 22, 2022, 09:18:07 AM »
There may be more land beyond the ice wall if this is the case then the water will rise less because there is more room. but I agree with JJA that it looks like there is more in this then just pollution melting the ice.

sorry i do more research else where now so i am not here much. I will try answer questions
if earth is flat there is more land area then normals know.
What leads you to this conclusion?
Quote
any land truly hidden is power. and if there is resources in that land it is more power.
That depends on the nature of the land and whether or not you can exploit the resources. And on what you can do with both.

and it is easy to control an big organisation if youre at the top just look at enron or many others
Big organizations are easy to control? What leads you to this conclusion?
flat earth means land beyond the ice wall. or dome but i think land. of course power depends on using the land. and i say big org is easy to control IF YOU ON THE TOP.

Enron? What does getting busted and going bankrupt due to cooking the books have to do with earth's shape? If you want to use it as an example, then it would be an example of 'hidden power' being exposed, not still hidden.
bc it shows example of how big lies can be hidden, duh. and again i can not show an example of hidden power that has not been exposed bc then WE CAN NOT KNOW IT WAS HIDDEN. it seems very logical to me so why is it so hard to understand?

If Earth is larger there is more land. But being flat doesn't mean more land. Sure with the common FE claims of a disc with a diameter of 40 000 km, there would be much more land, especially in places like Australia, but that simply isn't the case.

But hidden land is power. It might get you more resources, which you need to mine (and need people to do so), but that isn't power.
you say it is power, you say it is not power. decide. yes it must be extracted but if it is there it can be and powerful people know how bc they do it in many places already. seems people have a hard time understanding this. and more land is beyond the ice wall, i dont care about more land on the map we know.

and how exactly do i use an example of hidden power that is not exposed? enron managed to fool everyone for a long time. who knows who might still be fooling us.

Enron wasn't hiding and exploiting an entire hidden continent.  That's a bit more of a stretch than lying about their finances.

Just how are these hidden lands being exploited?  Do the rich elite just live there alone?  Millions of slaves mining gold so they can dive in it?
are you asking why having lot of land makes you wealthy and powerful? because if you are asking this then you know too little to argue about power, or anything real. land is power. how do you think the world works? and no enron did not hide a continent but they did hide a lot. just because nobody was exposed for hiding a continent does not make it impossible. it just makes it HIDDEN, duh

Flat Earth General / Re: heads up to newcomers
« on: February 20, 2022, 04:16:36 PM »
As a newcomer myself i have to fully agree with OP. globists clearly come here to bully others and it can be seen in this debate too. whatever you believe you should not run in where people disagree with you and shout everyone down. i know people who hate feminism and run into feminist forums and mock women who already feel bullied and mocked just because they want to debate feminism. i know christians who get bullied on christian forums by athests and people of other religion who just see it as easy target when people of one belief gather in one place. people who come to a flat earth forum just to shout that they dont believe and flat earth and then demand that everyone stop to prove them wrong should go away. this is not the place for you. if you want debate between flat and round earthers go make a forum for that. dont scream about oranges in a forum for apples.

Because they are on a round Earth, in different locations on that round Earth, looking in different directions.
Ooooh, youre a globey, that explains everything. i dont know how to explain in globist terms sorry

Just what makes you think I am trolling? That I don't just accept whatever you say?
Pointing out problems isn't trolling.
you keep demanding i defend something that i am asking questions about. if i want to learn about how rabbits mate i dont need to prove anything about rabbits. i am looking for information, that doesnt mean i need to have all the answers you demand.

Far away does appear basically the same to everyone.
That is why everyone on Earth observing the sun, sees it basically the same.
if two people at dusk and dawn look at the stars as they come or go the stars will be slightly different to them. not much but if pictures are overlayed the stars are slightly different and astronomers use that to guess how far away stars are, at least according to there mathematical rules. but maybe this is what you mean with "basically". yes they look the same, but there are small differences that can be important to some. not so much with moon and sun but with some things

If it doesn't provide a directionality for it to curve, then what way is it meant to curve?
I think we use the word directionality different. what does it mean to you?
The reason MUST provide a directionality, and it also provides the magnitude.

if it explained nothing to you that is a you problem not a me problem. i presented a reason why things look the way they do. nothing more is asked of anyone.
No, if it explained nothing, then that is your problem.
No bc you are demanding something from me and i demand nothing from you. if you are not satisfied with what i gave you and just keep demanding more and more, im not going to keep giving you

You presented a collection of assertions.
You asserted that light curves, giving an example of gravitational lensing, but you provided no explanation of just what is providing the gravity to cause this gravitational lensing or what else causes the light to curve
Gravity. it is all around you

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Why does the sun appear to set beyond the horizon?
« on: February 08, 2022, 09:17:20 AM »
Light bends upwards when it travels far enough due to temperature difference in the atmosphere so when the sun moves far away from us it becomes invisible.
This always puzzle me. dont the light bend down? so it looks lower if far away? if light bends up we would see the sun disappear into the sky?

2. Why don't they just travel over the north pole? It would be much quicker, cheaper, and efficient.
Why? a straight line goes throu west africa, not the north pole

with a plane traveling along that intensely curved route, wouldn't the passengers be consistently dumped on their sides for the vast majority of the ride, seeing as in order for a plane to turn it must bank?
When a plane banks the passengers are pushed down into their seats do to centrifugal force. if a plane turned without banking i.e. tilting on its side then the passengers would be pushed sideways

Last publication is early 2000s. its not that big, i flipped through it at someones place but it was a party and things got forgot and stuff. i just remember bits of it and that the owner said it was really good. any help is amazing thanks guys

All though i now know that you are basically trolling me, i will pretend you are serious and answer your questions
sun and stars are far away things on a infinite earth plane
If they were very far away, they would appear at the same location for everyone.
not with the lensing which is the whole point. and no far away does not even normally appear the same to everyone. goggle the word parallax (not the one in the bad green lantern movie)

and over far enough distance, even light curves.
Not without a reason, and that reason would provide directionality.
reason is lensing and no it would not provide directionality at least not easily

very short explaination but the basics
There was nothing resembling an explanation there. Just a collection of assertions, which don't even attempt to address the issue.

gravitational lensing. not exactly like the globe people think of it but very similar. sun and stars are far away things on a infinite earth plane and over far enough distance, even light curves. so we see these far away things. but uneven gravity bends light differently across the 24 hours so it looks to rotate. like looking at yourself in uneven mirror (funhouse mirror). very short explaination but the basics

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: A question
« on: February 06, 2022, 08:19:01 AM »
Nasa budget is falsely reported, it is much much bigger but dark money. A globe world means nothing beyond south pole, but flat earth means something beyond south pole, either ice wall or infinite plane. In this there is raw material. Globe earth conspiracy hides raw materials of many trillion dollars, used by wealthy elite who keep globe earth conspiracy alive.

Questions?

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Why does the sun appear to set beyond the horizon?
« on: February 06, 2022, 08:13:55 AM »
Whenever I go to the beach the sun just keeps going down until I can't see it anymore.  It happens so fast, like 5 minutes!  Not like I'd expect the sun were simply rotating further away.

And after the sun goes down, it gets dark within 60 minutes or less of sunset.  If the sun were rotating further away from me, wouldn't it just get a little darker, but always be light?
'Gravity' (which is very poorly / falsely defiedin textbooks) effects light, just not much. Very distant things look lower bc they light gets pull down over far distance. Far away sun looks lower. Also why things on horizon look squish or drop down.

The Lounge / New person says hi!
« on: February 05, 2022, 12:51:14 PM »
Hi I am new here and just wanted to say hi! I am a student of philosophy and physics but will soon leave my university bc academic minds is a narrow thing and i want to look at things other then what are in the books (the very expensive books that they make too much money from me on!). I study alternate medicine at local courses but my heart is in complex physics and natural philosophy. I hope to one day publish books on alternate physics and how things are not what mainstream people always think. Also I like ac dc and horror movies :D
