Flat Earth General / Re: Technological Advances Tested on ISS

plastic spanner, plastic parts, imaginary space station.

the '3D printed gun' was in fact a grip for a gun, because shitty trinket producing 3D printers cannot make anything that must endure any stress, or heat, or usefulness in any way.

morons.
Ummm...  I own a 3D printer and I have the 3D printable gun file on my computer, I plan on printing it out as soon as I get some minor issues fixed with my 3D printer.  That does not sound like a conspiracy to me.

have fun with your gun handle and trigger. or are you planning on producing a barrel with your, most likely merely desired, tat generator?

may as well churn out a few bullets too.............

gullible, contemptuously so.

requesting evidence for my theory is indicative of crass stupidity, as i have no theory and have never had one, or therefore proposed or supported one.

i dont know.

happy about that i am not, but better to be disgruntled regarding a mystery, than happy to accept a lie.

Thread nominated for most tedious and dull circle jerk in the history of jerks in circles.

But apparently interesting enough for you to read through it and take the time to comment LOL.

In future, unless you've got something intelligent to say in a thread, may I suggest you keep your juvenile opinions to yourself, and let the adults get on with their meaningful discussions?

"Children should be seen but not heard".  Have you never been told that by your mommy?    ;D

juvenile accusations by an emoticon utilizing cretin extraordinaire, taking your own counsel would result in blessed silence by your own insight.

take my advice, and do not stray into childish familial references, or ill scoop your mothers cancerous eyeballs from her head, marinate them in her vile penguin, and feed them to you.

see what mommy has to say about that.

Maybe Jupiter and it's moons are just being displayed on a screen attached to the ice done by NASA conspirators to trick us  :o

Or maybe it's actually a planet.  Which explenation sounds more likely?

both sound preposterous.

there would be ways to build in identifying features to an image capturing device, from the most fundamental lens marking to more complex feed digital signatures and i am sure many more, but.........

firstly, the onus of proof still lies fully upon the proponents of any earth model theory, not the objectors. any spheroid believers are just as obligated to provide evidence as those of any other model. independent evidence, impartially obtained, so the involvement of nasa (fairly staunch rock ball acolytes) would not qualify as legitimate.

the words of a space man, wearing a space suit, flying through outer space, in a space ship must not be ignored; 'there, for those needing it, proof the earth is round' - paraphrasing - while sharing with a (space?) camera the view from a porthole of what was claimed to be the planet earth from a distance sufficient to reveal its globular nature.

the problems with this footage specifically, without the consideration of the overwhelmingly fraudulent supplier, are manifest. the point is acknowledged even by the costumed zealot pioneer that such an image/view would be the first and only such example.

when the fact that all the ensuing corroborative imagery is expunged by the same calumny outfit, whos credibility is at best dubious, the lack of any evidence (multiple, independent, duplicated results - scientific basic standard) is complete.

but nasa asking for money to let individuals participate in space-nonsense is like an eight year old girl offering to introduce people to her pet unicorns, and only her peers, not her parents, might be expected to pay the price and see the show...........one or two might even say they saw the horned horses spewing rainbows.

sending satellites into outer space to film the planet.

preposterous

I don't know Saros. If we going by using that logic, we know dinousaurs got extinct like 65 millions years ago, correct? No human being was alive by then  yet we managed to calculate the dates by using modern science.
I wouldn't be surprised if we have powerful tools now to know how the sunlight works at the north pole with today's knowledge.

ho ho ho

No, other amateur astronomers with personal telescopes took them.

Or are you saying now that no one on the planet can be trusted?

If you want I can also post up all the pictures of the ISS taken with binoculars. Really, its incredibly easy to see the ISS with your own two dumb and blind eyes.

I have seen all the same photos. If that counts as proof for you then carry-on-believing.

If there is someone else, someone with a bit of intelligence and skill, up to the challenge of posting their own photos to support their beliefs, then we're all eyes! If not, then you have failed to prove your case and we can let this thread sink to the depths of the forum.

Getting iffy photos off the net is a very lame, but sadly expected from many believers.

I just posted pictures from people just like me and others here. And you called them fake. What changes if I take my telescope out tonight and take the picture myself you pseudo-science sanctimonious asshat.

Flat Earth General / Re: The Round Earth Molten Core (We Are Not Melting)
« on: November 25, 2014, 03:39:06 PM »

i note the five mile wide ball of molten steel has recently morphed into a solid version. crackpot theories habitually 'evolve' as they 'shit the bed', basically claiming the excrement was always there, and both intentional and vital.

so the spinning, while circling, while flying, while moving rock ball now has a ball bearing. going round in circles indeed.

there's a guy, an expert, he buries boxes full of TNT in the middle of some desert, about ten feet deep.
then he detonates it.

then, and here's the clever part, he listens for echos, with a convoluted stethoscope, and has thus determined much and more about the 'earths core'.

science, it's mostly really stupid.

The density of lava compared to water exceeds by only a factor of three...  However, the viscosity of lava comes to about 89 Pa, exceeding the viscosity of water by a factor of 100,000...  Considering this fact, any stethoscope experiment proves to be inaccurate... The sound would bounce off differently every single time...  You need a liquid with a very low viscosity like alcohol or water for ultra penetration of sound waves...

Something to ponder over...

What sinks and rises only depends on density not viscosity...  It would just take a longer period of time for something to sink...  And the alleged methane environment of early earth seemingly complicates the issue by several more degrees, pointing out the actual fact that methane molecules cool things down slower due to their lower kinetic momentum than standard air. (things cool down because air molecules make contact with objects and absorb thermal energy then flee away)

i was being sarcastic regarding this - 'boom-boom' - ssshhhhh - five mile wide ball of steel - scientific scientist, and his absurd claims. but i think you fall into the trap of associated bullshit with the 'early earth' and its properties or their behaviour.

the whole ancient (billions and billions of years ago......) earth, and its space crumb coagulation formative process, has its roots firmly entwined with the other established, establishment staples.

Is he an anti blow up guy or does he do this on a train track a few miles away?
Frigging stethoscope after TNT blasts to figure out Earth's core. Hahahahaha. Nice one, that made me laugh like hell.  ;D

i think he and his little troupe of acolytes travel by battered 4x4, as is the fashion for the indiana jones archetype adventurer-visionary, there is at least one, probably many, propaganda/documentary that shows him out in the wild with his shovel and explosives.

he appears, unsurprisingly, to be quite a twat.

Yet it gives you your computer and internet to type that post and have it sent.

the tires and engine on my car too?

are all inventors scientists, i equate them as being closer to engineers, making things and theorizing as to their structure, or why they work expressed mathematically, are very different.

and as i said, most of it is stupid, this does allow for a remainder.

lastly, you do realise that the 'internet', and being 'on it' is dependent on and fundamentally the telephone.

and despite the hype, computers + internet = people staring at a screen, full of almost entirely bullshit; ring any bells?
separate hyperbole from the actual facts and most cutting-edge advances are not.

Flat Earth General / Re: Simple Balloon "Rocket"...
« on: November 21, 2014, 06:42:16 PM »

the original premise of this thread is almost too stupid for words.

to offer a balloon rocket as a comparison for rocketry would only be possible if the rocket was made of a flexible, self-retracting bladder, as is the nature of the smaller scale example.

unless with sufficient scaling up of a human person, said giant could pick up a space rocket (ha!) and stretch the two ends apart and flick it into the distance.

incredible, truly.

Flat Earth General / Re: Satellites and the Internet ?
« on: November 21, 2014, 06:35:06 PM »

almost being the operative word, you finally understand.

before, you thought they almost did not exist, only just managing to do as they are claimed to.

the attempts to reach beyond the current limits of aviation and explore the theorized 'space' that may lay beyond.

until then satellites will only nearly exist.

17
They dont want you to think or use your own eyes.

in fact, engagement of your cognitive and ocular faculties is all they can ever hope to aspire to.

engagement leads to escalation, an addition to the various proverbs concerning conflict of any kind.

participating in the template method of back and forth, can only lead to reciprocation.

tit for tat, should such trading transpire (wherein equal amounts of similar seeming stuffs are swapped), profits no-one.

do you think the cretinati to whom you refer really exhibit the traits of an organised, competent group of motivated, capable personnel, and even a leader?

that someone/group would pay for the services of a skilled group, to mimic the behaviour of willing idiots, does not seem likely to me.

pick a group even as small as 100 persons, lock them in a room, and throw in a fet-ist, or a creationist, or a non-orthodox belief holder of any kind - holocaust denier could be the christmas, or easter, speacial - and how many zealous acolytes of whatever 'generally held' opinion will emerge?

at least a few, with even the harshest of demographic splits.

better make sure there is good internet connectivity, the fact mantra will always want its links to said factual-ness.

note the similarity between the more fervent science parishioners, and the more fervent abrahamic religious devotees, who both rely ever more heavily on referring to scripture, with very precise locations for what is at best ambiguous common sense statements, in the style of reference and divinity.

so in conclusion, why pay for tradesmen, when you can get free labour from an obviously skill free, but determined in the way only the cognitively slovenly can be, volunteer contingent.

Step on the dashed yellow line in front of your house. Get hit by a car going 30 mph. Now get hit by a semi truck going 30 mph.

Which had more force?

Step on yellow dashed line again. Get hit by semi truck accelerating up to 30 mph in 5 seconds. Then get hit by semi truck accelerating up to 60 mph in 5 seconds.

Which had more force?

F = ma

wow, orthodoxy hurts.

where would a rocket's 2.8 million lbf of thrust go if the rocket couldn't work in a vacuum?

it would fill the vacuum, until sufficient pressure existed for thrust to equate to motion.
What evidence do you have that force doesn't equal mass times acceleration?

eh?
Simple equations confuse you?
F=ma
Force equals mass times acceleration

"Those who hold the strings are the ones I should have noted for what I mentioned."

but what 'harm' do even the string-pullers do?

other than the feeding of bullshit to the hungry masses, who thank them heartily......

if all, or a large portion, of population could be convinced to see things my/your/any similar 'way' would they be happier, safer, smarter or their lives improved in any way?

sure, talking utopias is fine, but the fact is the motivation for the majority to toil away as they do, is the control imposed on them by those who believe themselves to be said populaces owners.

maybe they are, who knows.

you might be happy, and i know i am, but many and more would simply cease to function if imposed 'realities' were suddenly, or incrementally stripped away.

not sure why we are here, or how, replaces ancient earth/evolution and such - i dont think they could handle it. too bootylicious.

cant traverse the ice-wall, or travel up or down very far at all - eeeeeeek! we are imprisoned - utter panic.

the fact that any such imprisonment, no matter how apparently impregnable its security and borders, is at least workable upon;
whereas to be on a rock-ball, spinning in a void, is a truly hopeless - in terms of escape - prison.

go any direction you please, any time, as far as you care, the best potential outcome is to end up where you began.
enough to sap the enthusiasm of the most determined inmate.

with no ejector seat, the wearing of parachutes is either absurd or ridiculous.

perhaps after being thrown clear, the pilot came across a parachute in mid-air, coincidentally.

i wonder how many other pilots wear parachutes as standard practice, when no established method of leaving the aircraft in an emergency exists?
Exactly. It's like saying to a jumbo jet pilot, " If your plane starts to fall apart - just hope that the cockpit splits open  and you can fall clear....now this is the reason why you're uncomfortable with a hump on your back. Oh, and bollocks to the passengers."   ;D

What an absuloute crock of crap. ;D

i just had a little look at standard procedures in experimental aircraft testing, and the wearing of a parachute is claimed to be common, if not uniform.

from memory i am sure i have seen pilots approaching/emerging from such flights minus a chute, but thats not really of any meaning.

but this is of course space plane testing, in planes that go into space, so protocols may differ......

the supposed break up was far too high to survive without pressure suits (if they are credible), which have been repeatedly stated as having not been worn.

but since mr bum gardener and his red bullshit balloon, who knows what advances have been made in imaginary pilot safety field?

i am surprised to not easily be able to find an in-flight, pilot webcam type of video, of any previous test flights.

to see if parachutes were in evidence.

cockpit cam, or just cock-cam.
I think you're about there. Where I come from - it's BOLLOCKS cam.  ;D

searches for either, even when 'virgin' is included, yield totally unrelated results.

Yeah. And can you remember the round the world balloon bullshit with his trusted friend, who happened to later, do something on his own and perished.
I don't exactly know what the hell we are dealing with but one thing is for sure...whatever it is - isn't human in terms of emotions.

Psychopaths?

well, i dont really buy into the whole jung-fruedian stuff, but psychopath is a term intended to elicit some kind of fear in the non-psychopath that potentially encounters or in under the influence of the former.

i really like my ronald mcdonald/branson - jobs - zuckerberg et al. it may assist those struggling with the very concept of corporate marketing and human persona connection to a brand.

ronnie also provides a general term too, for the bransons and gates' of the promotional circus.

clowns.

i mean what are the nefarious aspects of the whole global media consumerist cluster-fuck?

fooling fools is just that, foolish.

only if one decides to believe any part at all do any victims of the charade become possible.

mid east wars.....really?

population cull.......no.

evil vaccines with dna altering brain control agenda?  by my method of reasoning they are most likely water.

nothing is happening, generally, and when asked to brace themselves for an uneventful life the reaction of the average human is bordering on panic.

it helps to explain, for me, the need for all the reassuring claims of almost total understanding of the universe, with constant warnings of impending doom - both personal and global/national.

to have to manage a huge herd of insipid, directionless, subservient creatures such as the human population must be very dull work; but at least its easy.

A phone on one of the empty news desks rang. It was a constable P. Giles of Esperance police, describing the blinding light, and the sonic boom that followed.

Other calls quickly followed. A Telecom engineer, Brett Turner 21, near Esperance, said “We were looking up in the sky when suddenly we saw it. It was right over us. All these lights suddenly appeared and broke up into more smaller lights.

“They were all white and blue and about two and a half minute later a tremendous roar of thunder broke out.”

http://blogs.crikey.com.au/planetalking/2011/09/23/the-night-skylab-fell-to-earth/
