i actually agree with saddam on this one.. (i cant believe i said that). this argument would be more of a metaphore for intelligent design verses evolution. however, its similar in that one is proven and the other is a fairy tale.

Question: Of intelligent design and creationism, which one is proven and which one is a fairy tale? I missed that finding...

i have yet to see proof that the earth is flat. i searched all over this forum but all i see are off-the-wall theories, but no proof. i see proof that the world is round.
i can understand your theories and that it may be possible, but what im looking for is the why and how.. not the what.

ps, if you say lurk more, ill dismiss that answer as "you are an idiot and dont know".

I would think that a dry lake bed would suffice.  We have plenty of big ones here in the West.

there is also the tilt of the earth that as a result the north pole has 6 months of daylight and 6 months of darkness.. nothing ive read compensates for that.. or does the light magically grow and shrink.

i dont doubt that most everyone who post here has read the faq and probably searched the forum for answers. but your search sucks. if you want to prevent repost then update the faq with real answers. not with yes,no, optical illusion.

if its an illusion then tell me what im actually seeing that creates the illusion. if its a faked photo, show me how its fake.

apparently they dont shut down this website because that would be a sign of a cover up.....

all the worlds government have a joined to create this conspiracy to cover up that fact that the earth is flat. its been successful for hundreds of years and is able to go to great and expensive lengths to do this such as putting millions of dollars into spaceships that never left the atmosphere and creating the opticle illusion of circumnavigation. but they cant cover up taking this site down.. its beyond thier capability.

one of your fellow FEers mentioned the milkyway galaxy in another post, i guess he didnt know what he was talking about. so what keeps the sun and planets in rotation? and why doesnt the earth run into them in its upward movement? it seems to me that this form of "gravity would cause the sun, and other "heavenly" bodies to crash into the earth.
