A solid core in the middle of the Earth (below North Pole) stops the waves that travel to the other side of the Earth. This solves the shadow problem (with the waves that cannot cross liquids not getting to the other side of the Earth due to core). However, it was pointed out that every Earthquake would have to occur on the Equator so that the equations that say what size the shadow will would work out.
I think that this is maybe the oen biggest piece of evidence that kills the FET the most. The FE'ers cannot disprove this, as anybody with the proper equipment can document it (along with some data from other (verifiable) sources).

Beyond the 150 foot Ice Wall is anyone's guess. How far the ice extends; how it terminates; and what exists beyond it, are questions to which no present human experience can reply. All we at present know is, that at the coast snow and hail, howling winds, and indescribable storms and hurricanes prevail; and that in every direction "human ingress is barred by unsealed escarpments of perpetual ice," extending farther than eye or telescope can penetrate, and becoming lost in gloom and darkness. Some hold that the tundra of ice and snow stretches forever eternally, ending at the edge of the universe, where time and physical reality ceases to exist.

Yes this is a challenge, I may not be able to understand the math when it's posted but I have access to people with masters degree in pure math who can "correct" your proofs. Come on, send it, I'm confident in winning this challenge because the FE theory has no pure math standing, it can't be proven mathmatically.
The shadow object would come on place you back on the Earth.
