- The earth's magentic field has nothing to do with it being flat... ALL compases point NORTH... there IS NO COMPASS THAT POINTS SOUTH! Thus on a flat or round earth it points to the north 'pole' or "NORTH CENTER" on a flat model
Bring me a magnet and a compass and I can show you that the south end can point to things too.

Say what? You are saying that satellites don't exist because your cellphone coverage sucks? Honestly, I don't know what you are saying here.. Do you expect your cell phone to blast data to and from orbit?
I lived in the middle of a desert playa for a week last year, and my GPS system worked just fine. There were no cell towers, so yeah, my phone was useless. I helped with setting up a mobile data communications satellite there, pointed right at the sky, and wouldn't ya know there was a signal up there. If we aimed it any place else, the carrier signal dropped. What is clear to me is that there is a highly directional signal spewing forth from the heavens.

I think you are very confused about communications infrastructure, man. Cell systems and line of sight systems require towers. If I have a satellite based phone, I will have communications in an area that also has no cellular coverage. Your Iphone is not going to crap out packets into orbit.

There are reflective surfaces, reflecting the light from the sun. You can see that just fine in the right environment. I could argue the FAA's lighting standards, color and location, etc etc, but that is boring.

No, cellular triangulation uses that, and it sucks. GPS *can* use that method as a supplement to the orbital signals, but that is certainly not the core of GPS. Land based triangulation typically relies on signal strength calculations that can be directly and severely impacted by topology. If this were true, your GPS system would fail in fully isolated zones... and I can tell you with 1000% certainty that it doesn't.

I could be mistaken, but I believe independent researchers have also done a bounce or two. And clearly it doesn't explain the ability for a HAM operator to bounce signals as well. What's the difference really? They both show the same results of what the moon is all about.
