Flat Earth General / Re: NASA 'lies'
« on: June 28, 2016, 01:33:43 AM »
Quite often on these boards it's asserted or implicated that NASA tells lies.

Does anyone have any specific, concrete examples of NASA lying? By this I mean examples either of NASA admitting to falsehood, or of there being generally and authoritatively accepted evidence that contradicts what NASA has said.

I'm not asking for conspiracy theory kind of stuff, or people's opinions. Just proper evidence. Ideally there would be citations, both for what NASA has claimed and also for the contradiction.

You must be joking.

Classic..laughed my ass off.

It's just reversed footage of a rocket taking off.

Need a video of it taking off and then landing.

Flat Earth General / day light hours Antarctica
« on: June 28, 2016, 01:27:52 AM »
Hi all,
I was looking at casey stations Wikipedia page and shows climate and mean averages. Under daylight hours shows more in November and dropping over Dec/Jan. Mcmurdo wiki doesnt include daylight hours part.
Then I looked at Australia's Antarctica division page which mentions 24/7 daylight for few days around xmas. Seems odd if true that it would make sense if those days would be in November..
My cousin worked at Casey in mid 80s and he confirmed no 24/7 sun and said nothing like north's sun movement.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: moon cycle not matching sun

Ok,
I like in southern Australia south of Melbourne,  I get told the reason the moon has different phases is due to the angle of the moon. If the moon was a ball then how does it have angles? Also how can the moon have the same phases if the earth orbits the earth ? Therefore the moon at different distances , ie summer and winter ??

Ok,
I only messaged my cousin as he's away working in WA, I'll find out exactly where he was and from what dates. I probably posted without getting all the details but this is pretty new to me, so didn't want to state why I was asking incase he thought I was high. As I first thought when I first heard about this subject.

If you can see the sun and moon at the same time
how could the Earth possibly be casting a shadow on the moon?

I agree,
Since ive become aware of somethings that dont make sense in what science tells us.

I mentioned this to others and they agree,  its weird, just like where I live with a spotting scope I can see buildings 60km away as they stand.?

Flat Earth Q&A / moon cycle not matching sun
« on: April 11, 2016, 01:19:27 AM »
Hi all,
Just a question I noticed today. In Melbourne Australia at about 430 pm the sun was in the sky about 10 o'clock and the moon was about 12 o'clock in the sky. The moon was crescent but as the sun set about 615pm the creascent on moon hasnt changed.  As I'm told to believe the sun travels faster than tge moon so shouldn't the crescent change if earth is blocking the moon.??

Ok , I didn't get exactly where he was but was there for x amount of months when building new reseach centre etc in the Australian area. He did mention that it didnt get totally dark outside those times. More like a twilight?

Flat Earth General / no 24 hour days on Antarctica
« on: April 09, 2016, 05:10:42 AM »
Hey all,
Im just new to this subject but very interesting,  my cousin worked on Antarctic in the late 80's based doing work for Australia.
I asked him if it was 24 hour days and he said it got light at 3am and sunset ar 10pm but twilight for abit after.
So waiting to hear back as mentioned we are told its light 24/7 for almost 3 months.
Cheers
Paulie
