Right mate. We know of something mysterious discovered on the moon so we come here to converse with other intellectuals open to a level of thinking that's broader than the generic hogwash found in society. All in the hopes of no one going to the moon? Sounds par for the course. 

Well, if we are going to play that game of what if, you really dont have to know about anything, its better if you dont actually. As long you take the bait, you are doing the grunt-work just fine in the dark.

I am sorry round earther's, you have all been deceived, and I have evidence.
The conspiracy conspiracy.
There are no flat earthers, they are all shills, paid to post on this site to make it look like people believe the FET. Their motivation, we can only guess.
Evidence
Firstly, look at any thread, they always dodge questions, this is because they don't have an answer, since they don't really believe the theory.
Secondly, physical evidence.

Funny that no FEer can answer a simple question about the stars, it's probably because they have no model of the stars.

Some have literally said "They are just little lights in the sky, I don't care about them" and "We are not meant to ask about them".

"We are not meant to talk about them", they have rules about what they are allowed to discuss, what explanation is there for this unless they are shills.
Thirdly, my theory is consistent with observations.
Motivation
Most likely some powerful person or group wants to stop space travel, maybe something has been discovered on the moon or another planet that they don't want us finding, they probably discovered oil on the moon or something. By creating and spreading the FET they damage NASA and other space programs funding, as why would you fund a group you think are frauds.

A free thinker is someone who isn't hindered by "established knowledge". We will question anything and everything. We are also happy to be proved wrong. Being a free thinker usually shows how much "established knowledge" is unverifiable and thus questionable.

We rarely find ourselves wrong due to not committing ourselves to a view that is questionable.

The indoctrinated dislike free thinkers because they believe implicitly on assumptions that we question.

It's always daytime some where on Earth,  so how can it go underneath?

No flat earth theory I've ever heard of has two suns,   you better read the wiki.    Or do you have your own version of the flat earth theory?

Just to help you out a bit here,  the flat earth theory says the sun is like a spotlight, and  it shines on a portion of the earth and circles around.  Actually it has to spiral, so as to account for the seasons.

But since you believe in multiple suns, I'd like to hear how that works.

Truthfully, I may have been a tad presumptious saying there are definitively two suns. The truth is, us humans cannot fully understand the workings of nature. Whether or not there are two suns, we cannot say, but my personal theory is that there are two alternating suns, hence different parts of the earth being illuminated.

Ok, so you're not a real flat earther,  you just thought it would be fun to come and pretend to be one,  so you could do a little trolling.   If you want lessons in trolling stick around, there are plenty here who would eat you just as a pre-lunch appetiser.   You don't stand a "ghost" of a chance.

Of course, the age old assumption that because one does not claim to to be omniscient he/she must be a troll. Way to continue the discussion there, kid.

Well,  you could go spend a day with a local surveyor,  and ask to help out on a geodetic survey.   They do it day in day out.   
Or you could explain why it is you can see further from a mountain top or a tall building.   

Maybe just watch a sunset, or sunrise.   

The proof of a round earth is right there,  you just need to look.

So, these surveying chaps can prove the earth is round? Do bring one here and have him share this elusive information in his grasp. I'll be most delighted to hear his tales.

It's not that you can see farther, it's the vantage point. There are no obstructions of your field of view whilst on a tranquil mountain. Go into a desert, where there is none of that pesky foliage clogging your retinas, and let your eyes wander. You'll see, (no pun intended) things are rather flat, and you can see quite a distance. Hmm, you might say, the same distance as from a mountain. 

I've seen many sunsets and rises in my years, and none of them have shown me a round earth. To my apparently untrained eye, I must say the way the sun comes up lends credence to a flat earth. Much like a balloon rising over a table I believe, if you'll permit the analogy.

How does the sun set on a flat earth?

Meaning the entire Earth would go dark simultaneously, as it would be BENEATH the Earth at that point.

Uh...  Nope.  That's not how that works.  See, there are these things called "Time Zones," and that dictates that when it's daylight in one place, it's night in another.  Very basic concept.  Don't have to be "Scientific" to figure that one out, just ring someone up or start a Skype chat with someone on the opposite side of the world from you.

There is no way that model works with reality.

Thank you for the warm welcome, friend. I must say, it's surprising to see how many trolls are here. Definitely more than what I expected. As for the "paid shills" as you so delicately called them, I find them comically amusing. If the government/secret societies weren't afraid of the truth being accepted, they wouldn't need to hire these internet thugs. But alas, that's the tyranny we must endure.

Too many posts that I want to reply to, so I'll just summarize into one.

No, I do not believe the earth is flat to be some sort of rebel. I believe it's flat, because there's no evidence to the contrary. You can use all your alleged "facts" but when your "facts" are created around the explanations you've already created, it's a circle of explanatory scenarios you have to fulfill all your inquisitive needs. Look outside the bubble of what you were taught about how nature and the laws thereof behave. I guarantee you'll be scrambling in a tither of panic. But you'll be the better man for it.

On who B.o.B is, he's an accomplished musical artist, with such chart topping hits as "Airplanes", and other songs. He's also a free thinking man, not chained to the ideals of the general populace. Where we would need a million voices to reach the ears of one unbeliever, he's one voice that can reach a million.

And I do understand that others here will ridicule, but it's fine. If they weren't searching for answers to the questions in their hearts, they wouldn't be here. Obviously Doubt and Insecurity have a hold on them.




If anyone has unquestionable evidence that the earth is round, please do share it. No doctored photographs or stories that you were told as a little tot, please. Legitimate evidence. I'll be waiting with baited breath.

I've believed in the earth being flat ever since I can remember. I was ridiculed in school for it, and later in life, co-workers and friends have tormented me over it. Now with the musical artist B.o.B announcing his support in our fight against tyrannical oppression and repression of the truth, how do you think the world will react? Will they still fight the facts staring in their faces? And why is it so hard for the majority of so called "intelligent life" to accept that we've been lied to? It's certainly not the first lie we were told, nor is it the biggest.

Please share your thoughts on how the general populace will handle this revelation.

And also, hi everyone. This is my first post (not sure if I got the right section), but it's great to see a community of free minds, and not just the normal mundane sheep.
