What the hell happened in here today?

Its 2:15am here so I'm not going to stay online. Is this landoverbaptist trying to recruit me again? I'm forever getting pms from them, but I'm way too nice to join a forum like that and I can't be bothered to read the bible >o<.

Anyway, it seems my powers are drawing fresh noobs from all over the internet. I'll have to deal with this tomorrow. >:(

Finally, your elusive leader has appeared. Answer my PM Thork or there will be dire consequences. You have no idea how much power I posses. I could dispell your entire religions theory with just one picture. Reply to me or you will be shown up for the sham that you are.

I officially do not support this campaign to remove Th*rk from FES, just to make it clear.  He has hurt my feelings a few times but I wouldn't wish him harmed anyway.

He's a hurtful bully you say? He'll fit in at the off topic section of our forum don't you worry

Nobody is interested in your forum or any of its side-splitting inside jokes. This is the FES. You have to shed all other allegiances at the door and surrender your mind to the truth.

You have beta male syndrome. There is a poster on our forum by the name of Ryangers who suffers from this as well. He struggles when the Alpha males like myself are online, but attempts to take our roles while we are away, only to cower back in to his cave when we return. Should I give him your number so you can start a support group?

If Thork died, would you go to his funeral? And if it was a requirement of that funeral that you dressed as Thork, would you adhere to the dress code?

This is ridiculous. Everybody needs to shut the fuck up about Thork already. It started in CN, with five new Thork threads each day, but now the pestilence has spread to all the lower fora. Now, we have droves of strangers flocking here to make their own hilarious Thork jokes. There are alts and noobs now whose entire posting history is dedicated to his Thorkness. What's next? BBC airs a Thork special? Thork themed parades in England? The world? It's not funny any more.

Jealousy is a bitch.

If you really want Th*rk that badly, you are free to him.  Be aware he bites though.

We have a Vini for the Thork

Guy seems like a right character. Is he the kind of "overlord" on here?

No, Th*rk is an ordinary member, though I believe he has moderator rights over the upper fora.

I'm assuming he is the one who started the flat eart theory and that you are all his followers.

The theory of the earth being flat is far older than any living member.  Try thousands of years.  Before the "round earth theory" ever came about, even.  And although Th*rk is a significant member of the FES, you'll find he's not overwhelmingly liked by many if not most members.  I have no real affinity for him either way.

When does he normally come on-line? I would be interested in chatting to him and finding out how he has created this power over the posters on here. I am trying a similar thing on another forum, but have only had limited success. Can one of you please take me to your leader so I may chat with him?

Th*rk has no power over any other member on this forum.  If you want our leader, you'd be looking for our President, Daniel.

Nice tactic, making out an insignificant member "Daniel" as your leader when Thork is clearly the man. Take me to Thork.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Why can't we feel "the wind"?
« on: March 19, 2013, 02:48:53 PM »
Never thought about this before. When I travel in my car and put my head out the window, the wind is unbelievable. If the earth is going that fast, surely the wind would be even faster than when in my car? Some scientist will probably be wheeled out to explain that there are "forces" stopping the wind, but then why can we not reproduce those same "forces" to prevent the wind when I'm going fast in my car?

I don't roll with any crew.

Should we start one? You can show me the ropes around here and I can back you up in debates and stuff. We could call it The Anti OT crew as in Anti Oval Theory  ;D

Is the director of this series an FE believer. The start of each show clearly shows a flat land mass, with a similar design to our planet. I think this is a clear attempt by the director to promote the FE theory. Does this show a change in thinking amongst the media towards FE theory?

Interesting read guys. I know it sounds simple, but surely if the earth was round, why are we not falling off the earth. No-one has ever properly answered this question.

Kinda stumbled accrues the site by accident. I regularly post on a Scottish football teams forum, a team called Celtic, and we have been discussing conspiracy theories. One of the guys said that he believed the earth was flat and a few other folk backed him up, one posting a link to this site. I'm not 100% convinced, but they did present quite well thought out and interesting arguments. I also run a scouting group for teenage boys and want to bring it up at our camping weekend this weekend and was wondering if anyone can tell me how you could explain the theory to young adults. I'm interested in sparking a proper debate at the camp to help them develop their debating skills on mass, so some points on the counter argument would be nice as well. Any help would be appreciated guys.
