i doubt it but perhaps one of you could try to persuade someone (rich i suppose) to fund a trip for a FE'er and put the matter to rest, or at least to one side  :)

i would then believe in FE, yes. as long as the pictures came from more than one group (the RE pictures have come from at least 3 nations that i know of: Russia, USA and China). howver i was interested to find out if you would then believe or decide that the pictures were false.

Three points i would like to make here.

Firstly, when i said fly over antarctica, perhaps you could fly from a known point on both Earth models and also film the compass all the way to show that you are going in the right direction for both maps.

Secondly, what do you make of the new commercial space flight, where people pay large amounts of money to be taken into the very edge of space?

Thirdly, if you were to go on one and see the curvature of the earth, would you then believe the RE theory? or would you need more proof?

so would you belive in antarctica being the shape it is in RE theory if someone were to fly directly over it filming every step of the way and come out the other side? if not what would you count as indisputable evidence that the earth is round, i.e. what would it take to make you belive you're wrong?
