Flat Earth Q&A / Re: The Earth, sadly for you, is round.
« on: May 09, 2008, 05:45:33 AM »
I went to Hawai just one time (24h of fligth from Montreal, Canada) 25 years ago and I remember clearly to have seen the curvature of the earth. In fact, that what it convince me, beyond anything else, that the earth is round.

I've been on long-distance flights many times...
I've had a look through my old photos, but I've only ever taken some during take-off or above the low-level clouds, so no curvature.

Why do you need to look your photos ? Can't you just remember what earth look like at 40 000 ft since you've  been on long distance MANY times?

Does that mean that any one of you never take an airplane to cross ocean, and therefor, see the curvature of the earth ?

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Why do you believe in FE / RE?

There is a multitude of reasons...

1) You reject Flat Earth Theory
I'm an idoit because I don't share you faith? I should be burned for that ?

2) Failing that, you neglected to even read the FAQ
False, I read it all and that why I ask questions (it don't answer them)

3) Failing that, you neglected to lurk moar
I dont know what it's mean (but I tough it better for me)

4) Barring consideration of any of these, you apparently joined these forums with serious intent
Yes. I joined these forums with the intent to know how people, in 2008, could seriously think that earth is flat. Apparently, it is not here that I could learn anything valuable. You act as fanatics; all other's ideas is shit, dont believe them, believe me because I have the holy wisdom ... .
The only answers a get up to now is being blast because I questionne your theory

Well, you certainly are shitty at it.

Bless me and my barbed wit! :D

Wow what a great argumentation. It show the solid bases of your theory !!

What is that ? Inquisition tactics ?

The guy asked questions and all of you divert to debate to try to proof if he is a pilot. It doent matter if he is  pilot or not, his questions are still valid. Do you answer just to pilots ?
In fact, you don't answer at all, you better blast the asker... and you call that discusion !!

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Where is this evidence of an Ice Wall?
« on: May 08, 2008, 06:16:25 PM »
Last year, a canadian expedition went to Antartica mainly to see the effect of global warming. This expedition was made by great scientist and they made a lot of photos, videos and even a DVD. We were contacting them almost each days and the never talked about any military activity for the complete six months they were there. And, know what, there is soil under your great icy wall !!

That FE theory is new to me and I'm amaze that people, in the 2008, could believe that earth is flat (it sound to me like the famous creationist theory)

I read a bit of 'parallax' guy and I could tell that his wrong for his table. So, since all his 'experiments' are based on this table, it is uselless to continue my reading further.

Even if we assume that the entire world conpirate, there is a lot of fact that should be explain.

Terrestrial facts
How come we see the curvature of the earth from the top of big mountain or in an airplane ?
Why, if tide are made from some 'tilt' movement, we dont feel this 'tilt' movement (mean there is no tide in my coffee cup or my pool)?
How do you explain meteologic cycles like jet stream from north pole toward equator and from south pole to equator, 'el nino', Gulf Stream ?
How earthquakes were so pinpoint ?
How mountains was formed ? and more generaly, how earth was formed?
How does earth accelerate and toward where and in what ?
What cause boreal auroras ?
What is this famous UA ?

Space things
Where meteors and comets came from?
If the moon is a spotlight, what is craters ?
if the sun is also a spolight, what is solar eruption (which could be observe during eclipse) ?
How do you explain planet's movement ?

These are few questions, not an exhautive list.
