Well the map is wrong then. Please provide a map that replicates what you describe as the limits or deliniation of the earth. If the entire earth is modeled around the antarctic, travel times around the rest of world are totally rediculous. Again, please provide a scale map of the flat earth.

Thats cool. Never seen it before. Although I have travelled from Canada to China in that map heading west of course, which would put me over the edge. Also been over the top portion, which also presents a problem. No problem though...its been explained. Earth has to be flat.

Well thats promising. If the earth is flat, then the ice wall could be tested from ALL directions. I work in the arctic as a consultant (past few years), have made periodic trips from Inuvic in Canada to the Arctic. Also worked far south in Argentina close to El Salado and Santiago Chili, pretty sure El Salado is closer to the Antarctic though it is almost at the point where the pacific meets the atlantic.

RE READ MY POST PLEASE. El Salado is closer to the Antarctic then the Arctic. Go ahead take it out of context, obviously you are lacking in the geography department.

The closest to the Antarctic for you? Let me guess, you have seen the ice wall.

Ok I'm convinced. I now believe the FAQ section. No scientific papers to back it up cause they are all in on a conspiracy. Asking for a simple Flat Earth map that is navigable is rediculous, as a believer we should know how to navigate without said map. My bad.

I have worked in the Arctic and very close to the Antarctic (you missed that the first time) however posted poor response to an earlier post of mine. The company I work for employs friends who venture further into both (arctic and antarctic) for exploration purposes (myself all over the arctic for exploration purposes). Travelled East around the entire world by plane many times, by colleauges and friends navigated by sail (small boat). Somehow...strangely nonone has seen an ice wall or stopped from entering any area.

You really an Engineer? In what?

BTW, El Salado Argentina is pretty damn close. Next time, read the 'entire' post, it helps.

In around the 6th or 7th page of my "proof" thread in my sig, I posted someone elses FE map and showed a few difficulties. At any rate, we'll have to see what we can do.

Well it is testable. We can set out to find the great 'ice wall' if we have a map that we can navigate (by air or water). Since the people here know that the earth is flat, then obviously they have done enough research to provide a competent map. If not, then they can provide photos, personal accounts, or other 'first hand' experience as to why they couldn't obtain the data to make the maps. A basic GIS course will explain how a flat earth and personal navigation do not make sense.

The FAQ is beyond horrible. I could test it easily with a map. I travel alot, family and friends travel tons (self guided)! If the earth is flat, than provide a map so we can find the end (rather edge) of the earth. Problem though...it can't be provided. Otherwise it could be tested.

Q: "Why has no-one taken a photo of the Earth that proves it is flat?"

A: The government prevents people from getting close enough to the Ice Wall to take a picture.

How do they prevent us from seeing the Ice Wall? Given NASA operates in one country out of many, no country has documented evidence of atleast trying to see the ice wall?

Hmmmm, the soviets just dropped a flag in the arctic not long ago to claim that area as theirs. Contested by many countries, I'm suprised the Soviets or others haven't said "Hey you are hiding the ice wall from the rest of the world". Or for that matter wouldn't they have said the same during the cold war. Or is this another conspiracy? Don't forget we are all free to explore the world, and many friends and relatives of mine have. No mention of armed guards keeping them from an ice wall, unless it lies just beyond the boarders of IRAQ, N Korea, Iran...

Show me where that Ice Wall is on a map, so I can, rather we can test to see if its true.

How does FET explain away hybrid solar eclipses? I'm interested, because it seems difficult.

For those who don't know, a hybrid solar eclipse occurs when in some areas, there is a total solar eclipse, where the moon completely covers the sun, whereas in another area, the moon does not completely cover the sun, its concentric within the Sun. In RET, its due to the extra distance, but what is it in FET?

EDIT: Before anyone states the obvious, remember that the circles are concentric, not shifted over in one direction or another.

Would love to stick around, but not much to read in terms of evidence (the FAQ, oh please...my 2nd grade son could write better). No scientific support for a flat earth...only faith.

Oh no, I'm not saying the flights don't arrive in time. The flight proprieters blatantly fly faster to make up the difference, earn their filthy Conspiracy cash and appease their dark lord.

Faster? At what speeds? You have a mechanical/materials engineering degree. The ability of a commercial airliner (built to specifications) to obtain speeds in excess of 800+mph (except Concord wich is not in operation) without a catastrophic failure do not exist. Talk to an airplane mechanic/engineer lately?

And the ships? Must be some strong currents in the oceans to get them to port on time.

Someone please provide technical papers to backup the FAQ section. Otherwise I will completely disregard the FAQ section 100%. I absolutely hate posting and recieving responses of "thats answered in the FAQ". Well hate to break it to you, but FAQ answers nothing. Only provides an answer of ancient magic and conspiracy theory.

I will ask this. Provide 1, recently published scientific paper on a 'Flat Earth'.

I'm thinking of starting a website and a following on the pink poka dotted tooth fairy I saw the other night. Faith is one thing, science is another...why...science is what we call 'testable'. Math, Physics, Biology, and many other areas of science that 'CAN' be tested.

My test is this, provide a simple flat earth map with all cities, countries, continents, and I will test that map for its accuracy.

Ignore this, and you can live in your dream.

Aye, most, if not all of those questions have been answered in the FAQ. Don't cry to us if there are glaring inaccuracies in the FAQ, we know about them, and a new FAQ is being written.

I hear ya, the FAQ provides very little in terms supported scientific theory or evidence, conspiracy well ummmm...well...ummmm how do I put it? I read the FAQ, and still have these questions.

All I ask is for a Flat Earth Map! One with all the cities, countries, and continents on it. How hard is that? Provide it please. Since the flat earth scientists (if there is such) believe in a flat earth, well obviously they have done enough research to develop a correct map of a flat earth. Us non-believers can at the very minimum provide anyone with a very accurate map!

Now I hate to put down people in an educational sense, and this isn't directed at any specific person here. Anyone studying Hydrogeology, Geometry, Geology, Geophysics, Telemetry, Space, Math, Physics, would tell you the earth is NOT flat. Provide any imperical evidence to support a flat earth. A Paper published recently to support it, without arguing 'conspiracy' because you do not clearly understand the scientific methodology.

Refer to you're rediculous FAQ is hardly a debate. For the most part, educated people refrain from visiting this site. Why? Because for every point a Flat Earth person makes involves a implication of a conspiracy with no known answer the the question. Thats weak!

Well after reading many of the threads.

Ok so the earth is flat.

1. Any photos of the edge of the earth? Anyone know anyone else who has fallen off or come to the end of the earth.
2. Would someone please provide a map? See next point.
3. Using this map how do we navigate from continent to continent while always travelling in one direction (east or west). i.e Fly from here to China, through the middle east on through Europe, maybe a quick stop in England , and then back to Canada. Once back in Canada continue to fly the same direction always heading East. The trip can be done over and over. How can that be?

I have family who has sailed their own boat around the entire world. More then once! For some reason they couldn't find the edge, maybe they just weren't looking though.
