Flat Earth Debate / Re: FE or RE part 2

Didn't mean that... look at your question man...

Do you believe in A or B
Yes or No (or undecided)

That doesn't work out

It should be:

Do you believe in A or B
A or B or Undecided.

Have a good one. I'm outta here.

Thanks for the critism ( I don't mean it sarcastically, I sincerely appreciate it ).  Allow me to clarify;
"Do you think that the earth is flat or round?"
Yes - I am a proponent to either the fe or re point of view.
No  - I am a proponent to a different point of view not covered by the Fe or Re perspective.
Undecided - I am currently undecided.

Talk to you later.

Hi Lammi, welcome to this forum.  I happen to fall into the round-earth side of the question.  In my opinion, evidence supplied by contemporary sources is sufficient to suggest that the world is a sphere, not flat.  There are others on this site who feel otherwise.  I have added a poll to see exactly how people feel regarding this question in a topic titled 'fe or re'.  I am interested to see how things turn out in the poll.  Currently, the Re-ers are ahead 12 - 9.

Flat Earth Debate / FE or Re Poll

Good morning everyone,
I wanted to take the opportunity to point out that the Re-ers are apperantly the majority in this forum. At least that is how it appears in the poll titled 'Fe or Re' (that is locked from discussion by the way).

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: How did you discover The Flat Earth Society?
« on: November 20, 2007, 11:29:41 PM »
This is mostly directed to the noobs, I want to know where they are coming from.

Anyway, my story:

Vauxhall and I were in Ancient History class in ninth grade and I had a book entitled "World's Greatest Mysteries" that I was reading.  One of the entries said "The Flat Earth Society" and I started to read it.  I though it was pretty funny and I showed it to Vauxhall.  At break Vauxhall and I went down to the computer lab and wikied "The Flat Earth Society".  At the bottom was the link that said "Flat Earth Society Forums", so naturally I was like "Oh shit!  They have forums!".  So we go to the website in which Vauxhall makes his first post under his first username "Look at the Horizon!".  Yes, we were noobs.

I found the link on the wiki site as well.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Questions for Clarification.
« on: November 20, 2007, 09:52:32 PM »
Alright, I do have some questions that my curiosity has brought me to ask. I'm not RPing this one, so if I say something stupid, I mean it ;D It'll happen, I can guarantee it.

In the FE model, the flat plane of the earth is said to be moving upwards along an infinite path. Does the earth spin while moving upward?

Why can nobody cross the ice wall, if it is only 150 feet high? Where is the ice wall located approximately on a map of RE?

Why are the polar circles the same length?

More questions to come, I can guarantee it.
What does it mean to RP something?

Flat Earth Q&A / Certification?
« on: November 20, 2007, 08:40:19 PM »
Does a person join the Flat Earthers Society? If so, do you folks mail out a certificate?  I think that a Flat Earthers certificate would look really cool in my office, and I bet women will dig it.  Please let me know, im really curious.
thanks for your attention.
