Flat Earth Q&A / Re: I am deeply curious about all of this.
« on: September 16, 2007, 07:59:36 PM »

Magnetic North is at the center of the disk.

A compass always points North, which makes East and West curved.

Ergo, Magellan circumnavigated the Flat Earth.

I prefer the pictures that at least attempt to get Australia someone close to South America.
I thought Australia doesn't exist.
Question Number 2: Has anyone filmed the whole Perimeter of the Ice Wall? Also, how does the Government keep such close tabs on their troops guarding the Ice Wall? I'm sure someone has slipped up somewhere at some point in time. After all, the Earth has been around for many, many many years.

Can you present evidence that the world is flat with material other than poorly MS Painted pictures?
yay books
kk, so if I quiz you on a few things you'll be able to answer my questions because you've read all of those books and know they're reliable, right?

Okay, first I'll throw you an old one: What's up with Magellan?

Magellan did indeed circumnavigate the earth.

In Flat Earth Theory the earth is shaped like a pancake.

North is hubward, South is Rimward, East is Turnwise, and West is Widdershins.

Any further questions?
Gimme a picture.

From our perspective. However, the universe is much bigger than that, good sir.

As for evidence of a round Earth, it wouldn't matter. You'd just pass it off as a part of the big conspiracy.

Wait, so you came here to insult our beliefs when you yourself have no actual evidence to support your hypothetical model of the earth?

What if I see mountains?

Try looking in another direction then. Do you see flat or round?

Hence, we have observational evidence that the earth is flat.

What evidence do you have showing that the earth is, in fact, round?
How do I know you didn't edit my surroundings and this all is just a big conspiracy?

Where is the ice walls on the right and left sides of the image? Do you expect me to believe that's real?

More importantly, you couldn't take a picture like that. You can't get that high up.
They're there, you just can't see them because the Government editted them out.

We answer these obvious questions every single day.

Protip: Improve your FAQ so it doesn't sound like an eight-year-old wrote it.
